Nice, clean and spacious room. Walking distance to Coop, 2 others groceries store and bus stop. Also near to train station, about 10 minutes walking. Opposite Coop, there are Halal food store named Chicken Rush. For those who looking for Halal food you can visit there. We love stay here because this hotel located quite center to almost every things. A bit further there are tesco and other shops. Staff also nice and very helpful. In addition, the hotel is also within walking distance (a pleasant 10-30 minute walk) to the Cambridge Mosque, the Traditional Punting station and several other attractions. Overall, we are very happy to have found this hotel to stay.

Heater in bathroom maybe not function during our stay that make our bathroom floor a bit cold.

Excellent location - very close to our concert venue of Cambridge Junction, with plenty of choice when we wanted a restaurant (Savour closed as it was a Tuesday evening) (and good bus services to get into the city centre if you don't want to walk). Spotlessly clean and comfortable - loved the mattress! Tea and coffee making provided in the rooms, as were toiletries. Friendly staff, who were kind enough to upgrade us from a twin to two double rooms - my daughter was delighted!

The decor is looking a little tired - scuffs on the skirting board and wall paper, for example - but nothing that would stop me from booking here again if we return to Cambridge.

The room is pretty clean and comfortable, especially the beddings and toilets. Staffs are friendly and helpful, I was late for the check in time but the staffs still picked up my call at late night and gave me instructions to self-check in. Good location, this is no doubt a cheaper but decent option if you want to stay at a nice place that is closer to Cambridge University.

The hotel is classic style and older than other hotels, so the soundproofing is not very good and sometimes you can hear the floor cracking as other people walk through the corridors.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and since my last day the owners have rejuvenated and redecorated the bedrooms certainly the one that I was allocated with. The bedroom had everything I needed and was quiet and as always, the staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel does not offer breakfast, but that was not a concern for me as there are tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Handy location to drive to, with a reasonable amount of free off road parking. It is about 25-30 mins walk into the centre of Cambridge with various good quality shops, bars and restaurants on the way (some 5 mins away near the railway station)... I ate at the excellent quality Oak Bistro (18 mins walk towards the town centre). The hotel has a Chinese restaurant which smelled great, and i was tempted, but I was only staying 1 night and didn't try it as I'd pre booked the Oak Bistro.

The hotel is clean and tidy but as you would expect for the price its rather tired and dated. A little noise at times, but overall I wasn't expecting much and it was actually much better than I expected!

The location was perfect, private parking, the bedroom was slightly small for a double bedroom but beautiful en-suite, clean, and lovely staff. We were fortunate that the room was ready and they allowed us an early check in.

Loved the authentic welcome, the delicious food and the kindness shown. Comfy room and a very quiet two nights, especially considering the main road location but we couldn’t hear a thing!

We liked the older style furniture and decor, it was very tasteful, and suited the style of property, but there were a few cobwebs higher up in the lovely high ceilings. The bathroom light switch was temperamental.

The staff were lovely people. The location was about halfway between the hospital & train station. That was perfect for us. I would stay again.

We were in the family room & it was on the top floor. I didn't realise that when I booked. I had an elderly parent with me. The stair rails needed a clean.

I woke up to bird song in this well located hotel, close to Cambridge's main station, and on the south side of town which is very convenient for the science parks and hospital, avoiding a lot of congestion. My room was comfy and clean, and as I was in town for work I was able to concentrate, and start the day refreshed. Staff were friendly.
