Location very good, easy access to all historical and shopping areas. Room was a good size, bed comfortable. Had all you might require, not every hotel room have booked in, has an ironing board, very useful. Staff were very friendly cheery helpful and knowledgeable

Bathroom funny shape. Good quality. Shower area was massive and toilet and sink area very small. Think we had a disabled room maybe that was reason. This is not a complaint, we found everything to our satisfaction We stayed over a weekend and was alot of noise from nearby pub until 1-2 didn't affect us too much, but may affect others. There was triple glazing but pub directly below window so appreciate difficulty. Would not stop me booking again

It’s handy for us visiting our son & his family who live in Townhill

We’ve stayed several times before but this time had to queue at a busy bar just to check in which isn’t a good idea. We stayed in room 108 which was a lovely room and Saturday night was nice and quiet but the Sunday night was awful room 109 kept us awake until at least 3am banging doors shouting at each other it was terrible and we had a 4 hour drive home on the Monday it was horrendous we are pensioners and will definitely think twice about staying again when we visit in the summer.

Been to the hotel a few times, love the location, our room this time was massive, super comfy beds,we were looking onto main street and never heard a sound even tho it was new years eve and the 1st jan we stayed,we were also right above the busy bar/restaurant, again heard no noise.only problem we had was the morning we were leaving as there was no hot water, just braved a cold shower was probably good for my new year hangover anyway.lol.when we went down for breakfast after ordering we were told it was all complimentary as an apology for the water, there had been a problem with the boiler and was getting fixed.had a fantastic new years in Dunfermline, will be back again soon and back to the guildhall.

Been woke up at 7 am having to evacuate building as fire alarm went off, cant fault hotel for that tho.

Rooms were spacious, there was a tea & coffee tray however there was everything you could have asked for, hot chocolate and even an oats drink for anyone that would like that kind of thing, I did ask for some extra milk at the bar before we went back upstairs, they gave me a full half pint & wouldn't take any money for it, there was an iron & ironing board (we didn't use, however a great addrd extra) also a hairdryer, everything included, soap & shower gel also provided in the bathroom. With regards to where the hotel is situated, its fully in the city centre, close to all shops & other bars, we attended a show at theatre which is just around the corner, booked 2 rooms for March, would highly recommend.

I honestly can say there wasn't anything I would have changed.

We enjoyed our stay very much so. There is nothing to fault with this hotel. The staff, the room. food. where the hotel is right in the middle of everything, near the shops, buses, trains etc. This is our 3rd stay at this lovel hotel and we shall be back very soon. Everyone at the hotel cannot do enough for you. One of the best hotels we have stayed at.

There is nothing you can improve on this hotel. It has everything you would want and need.

Room was good size, bed was super comfy, bathroom was lovely and tea/coffee facility was spot on even had water in loads of drinks to choose from like hot chocolate and biscuits etc list goes on definitely worth the stay and right in city centre what else can you ask for. Also had usb to charge your phone etc brilliant.

The fact that when we arrived we had to walk through busy bar to check in then walk through busy restaurant to our room but wasn't the worst thing in the world, sure I will get over it haha! Unfortunately didn't take pics 😕

The bedroom was amazing, we have paid more for less. Great selection of coffee, tea etc, full iron board, iron. Was really nice they had taken the time to put tourist information in about locally and The Kingdom of Fife. The shower is amazing, no fiddling about freezing yourself with taps. We were in room 106, we found it quiet even though it was above the eating area and opposite another bar and we were there on a Saturday night. Will definitely be back. You definitely wouldn't think you were in a Wetherspoons. Really nice staff, who were very helpful eventhough it was a busy Saturday.

I think the mattress could have been thicker, but was advised they are getting around to replacing them.

Excellent holiday cottage. Impeccably decorated and furnished throughout. Spacious and warm. Fully equipped with everything we needed. Communication from Colin was clear and timely and he gave us a warm welcome on arrival and ensured we were comfortable. Location is superb with views of mountains, moorland and you can just about see Lochnaver. If you get an evening with a clear sky you will get spectacular views of the milky way and constellations. Plenty of fantastic landscapes, countryside in relatively easy reach. The road to Laxford Bridge via Tongue is one of the most beautiful drives in the UK. If you want peace and quiet in a very comfortable environment this place is ideal.

Nothing to criticise. All good.

Location was excellent, breakfast great value for money

Arrival and checkin was just awful, had to go into the busy bar with cases, told by various people conflicting information, to go to reception, which was closed sign said go into bar,! Advised to stand at end of bar, which we did, then told to go to opposite end for bat service only! Eventually got taken to a table in the pub to complete our arrival form, that's a joke and just not good enough. Worst checkin ever. No heating on in room and it was freezing on arrival.

The room was nice and included all the amenities we needed. Despite the bar/restaurant on the ground floor being extremely busy as we stayed during weekend nights, we couldn't hear a peep from our room! The bathroom had good water pressure and temperature, and extra pillows were ready for us above the wardrobe. The restaurant was very reasonably priced so we ended up having breakfast there as well as a late night pizza which we brought up to the room. Check in and check out was easy.

Our room was a little smaller than we would have preferred especially as we had our toddler with us. Beyond this we have no complaints.
