I had a very nice and peaceful stay at Queensferry Guest House. The location is perfect for exploring Edinburgh, with a bus service running every 15 minutes to and from the city. The bus stop is conveniently close, making it easy to get around. Additionally, the Rosyth train station is just a stone’s throw away, providing quick access to Edinburgh's Waverley station in just 15 minutes. If you're interested in exploring more than just Edinburgh, this location is a real bonus. The guest house is ideally situated for visiting the charming coastal villages and the iconic Forth Bridge. I highly recommend taking a stroll to these beautiful spots—it’s a wonderful addition to your trip. For convenience, there’s a Tesco superstore nearby for any essentials you might need, and there are also several restaurants in the area if you're looking to dine out. Overall, a great place to stay with excellent amenities and connectivity. Highly recommend.

The only thing I would suggest is adding a few more options to the breakfast menu, which would make the experience even better.

Ali was very helpful and so welcoming and the place was very clean and newly built. I have booked for a group of 9 so I had to book for the cottage for 4 of us and did not realised the cottage guests do not get breakfast. When I explained that, he was happy to accept them to have the free breakfast and I thought that was very generous and lovely of him.

There are not enough parking places available but again the construction is not completed and perhaps they will add more parking spaces in the future. Also the place seems a bit far from Edinburgh; we were driving so there was no issue for us but the only thing I would suggest is perhaps the continental breakfast could have been reviewed. The place is very lovely and has lovely staff, it is a shame if the breakfast is not to the standard of other hotels or guesthouses.

I booked the outbuilding, rather than the main hotel itself. Love the location of the guest house. As it was located at the back of the main building, it gave a good feeling of privacy. There was a good sized decking area out front to relax with a coffee or beer! Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, fairly spacious guest house and looked recently renovated and was very tidy and clean. Extra pillows and duvets were available as were toiletries.

Only a couple of things I didn't like: The parking was a little tight, and the sofa bed wasn't the comfiest. In saying that, it did the job!

Very nice staff. A house located in quite area, nice garden with plenty of space for barbeque, big car park for no extra charge. I really did not expect such a good quality for this price, the cheapest place near Edinburgh, not far from city centre. Big kitchen available ,with access to the fridge, breakfast included in the price(there was not full scottish breakfast, but toaster , microwave, kettle, bread, cornflakes, fruits, coffee, etc,all what needed for the start of the day...). Cleanlines on high standard. Towels and bedding clean and dried outside!, smells fresh. Really recommended🙂

All good to me.

The room was clean and functional. The hotel is very close to public transport, making it really easy to visit Edinburgh. You can also enjoy walks on the hills nearby in Rosyth itself. The hotel host was friendly and helpful. When we learned that our flight was canceled, we called him for help and he immediately offered to keep a room for us. But due to the airlines' policy, we couldn't make our own hotel arrangements, which we only learned a later. We could cancel our reservation without any issues.

Easy to find, large parking space. Rooms basic but clean. The bathroom is clean, very basic but there's all you need. Kettle, mugs, glasses, tea and coffee in the room. Perfect for short stay

Paper- thin wall, you can hear anything that's going on outside the room. Someone arrived around the 1am making a lot of noise, no consideration for other guests at all. Hardly any choice for breakfast: toast, croissant butter and jam. Milk and some cereal.

We knew our arrival time would be late and maintained good communication with the hotel. Nice welcome on arrival. Room was basic but clean. We had an early departure and the breakfast room was set up so we could have a continental breakfast. Plenty parking. Great location for reaching the airport.

One window did not have a curtain and when the sun rose it was very bright in the room.

The property is really clean and quiet. Got a good nights sleep

In the en-suite family room, the little window only has a thin net curtain over it, no blind, which made the room very bright. Scotland only has 5 hours of darkness in June so it was very bright. I made a makeshift blind

Amazing stay at Queensferry guest house. Easy access with plenty of parking. Wifi available and convenient breakfast. Bedroom nice and cosy with no surrounding noise at all so gave us a peaceful nights sleep we need after such a long journey. Will be using this hotel more again for sure.
