Corena is a nice host, discreet yet you can feel that she cares about your being pleased with her accomodation. Very near the airport but that was not important for us. The wonderful # 31 bus stopping right in front of the house is taking you right to Prince's street where most of the action is (or starts) in about 20 minutes. This bus line seems to take you everywhere in the city or almost and is running very often. I heartily recommend staying there. We were a few days and the price is quite good I think.

Would have liked to have breakfast served but even without it was more than okay. We had a small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities though.

Very comfortable accommodation in quiet area. The provision of a bar fridge was an unexpected bonus. Plenty of parking. On bus route (bus stop right outside) so easy access to the city centre. Relatively close to shops and restaurants. Ideally situated to be able to explore the city of Edinburgh and its surrounds.

There was some local tourist information provided. However, there was no indication of where the nearest shops or restaurants were located. There was also no information on local transport i.e. local buses or trams which would have been useful. However, this could easily be found online.

We stayed here for the last night on our Scottish adventure. We chose it mostly for a location near Edinburgh Airport. We were pleasantly surprised to find that in addition to a comfortable room, there was ample parking available plus an adorable rear yard to sit outside in. We were able to order food for delivery from a local restaurant, saving us the trouble of going out again after our evening arrival. My husband suggested that if he'd known it was going to be this nice, we should have planned to stay longer.

It took us a while to figure out which door we were supposed to go in. I would like it to be labeled better, in some way.

The staff was polite - friendly- and helpful. The room was clean. Parking was easy. The best feature for us was the location - on the edge of the City but right on a major bus line to the City Centre, with every 12-minute service. Further, the cost of the buses is both reasonable and subject to a daily and weekly cap if you pay with the same card. We didn't move our vehicle for three days. We are walkers and there were restaurants within a mile and more within a mile and a half - but only takeout within a half mile - which was OK with us, particularly since the City Centre and the road between has many choices.

While in Scotland we noticed that there is great variation in the toiletries provided at the different accommodations, but this was the only one that provided nothing in the way of soap, shampoo, tissue, etc. If you book, be certain to bring everything yourself except toilet paper and towels. The price was more than we typically pay but not out-of-line with the alternatives.

The location is very close to the airport, Also, the room was clean, well cared for,, and spacious. The proprietor took the time to personally introduce me to the accommodations and was very pleasant and helpful. There was plenty of parking on the premises in front of the building.

I had some difficulty finding the guest house, because I could not see the addresses from the road as I drove by, I would have appreciated having some landmarks to assist me in advance. Nevertheless, the proprietor was very helpful in making sure that I arrived at my destination.

I found this smashing guest house when searching for places near to Edinburgh airport. It's conveniently located on the Glasgow Road and right next to the bus stop from the airport into Edinburgh. Couldn't be better. Our Host Michelle was so friendly. The room was on the front of the property facing the road but thanks to secondary double glazing, really quiet. Bed was incredibly comfy and the shower just perfect. A short walk to cafes, restaurants and bars and very easy access into Edinburgh or to the airport

Nothing. It was all perfect...`please may we have sunshine next time? :)

The location was about 20 minutes from the airport and about 15 minutes from the town centre on the bus. It was nice and clean. Can control the rooms heating, had windows that opened, had a nice bathroom and comfy bed. Also had a fridge and kettle in our room. I messaged before we went to say we would be getting there at 9am and could we leave our bags there until we could check in, when we got there our room was ready! Really nice lady.

Would've been good if they did breakfast, even if it was just toast or cereal!

On the surface, this was a great stay. A very spacious room with a well appointed bathroom with plenty of hooks to hang clothes and our belongings. It was good to have a fridge, and the soundproofing worked well to reduce the adjacent main road noise hugely. Location on the outskirts wasn’t too much of a problem as there were regular buses and tram to get into the city. Parking on site was good.

We were disappointed that the £200 a night we paid for our double room did not include breakfast. Staying during the Fringe festival we hadn’t realised how much of a premium went on the rooms and question value for money. A couple of things were a bit strange too, on our second night we realised our windows had been opened during the day while we were out and not shut so the road noise was much more intrusive until we recognised the problem. Also the shower didn’t drain very well.

Bus stop outside of property with regular buses into and back from the city. Rooms cleaned daily with tea, coffee and toiletries replenished. Fridge in room a bonus. Very comfortable bed. Also on bus route to the airport.

Signage for the guest house could have been more noticeable as we drove past it a couple of times before reaching the destination. Would have liked the option of breakfast but there are many places locally to eat.

Very bright but soundproof due to double windows. Very comfy beds and lovely room. Great host and very good communication (we have asked for earlier check-in and the possibility to store luggage on the check-out day). Had a pleasant stay. Location is very good, only a 15 min Uber drive away from Edinburgh airport. Would recommend and visit again.

It was not possible to open the windows but the air ventilation was good so there is no need for manual airing.
