The room was very comftable and clean, it eas lovely and quiet, the kitchen was well equipt and the bathroom was a decent size, beds were very comftable. Unfortunately for us our daughter was poorly with a sick bug on our last night and didn't quite make it to the loo in time and threw up on the bathroom floor, we didn't have the facilities to clean it up in the room but reception are ooen 24/7 and the guy on reception came to our rescue at 3am with a mop and bucket and was super helpfull and even offered to clean for us!! Exceptional customer service very friendly staff. Lovely apartment we will be staying here again in the future!

The location of the aparthotels is not in the old town or middle of prince street but it’s really close to every thing you would like to visit , there are 3 bus stations near you that you can use to go anywhere you wish. The garden view is so peaceful and pretty. And the area is quiet and truly comforting. The water pressure and boiling is working really well.

Along our stay the room cleaning didn’t visit our apartment but once, I don’t know if we were supposed to ask for cleaning ourselves each day. Also the floor had an annoying noise in some areas of the apartment but other than that everything was great.

The property included all the essentials required for a small family trip. It was comfortable and warm.

Hot water was rarely hot. It was more closer to warm. Having to keep asking for toilet roll was a little frustrating and would have been nice if they gave out a pack of 4 rather than 1 roll!!. Double glazing door in room 1 block 7 needs to be seen as it doesn’t shut properly. I wish I had booked the 2 bedroom apartment as it’s more spacious as the 1 bedroom apartment is a little claustrophobic. It’s a half decent place in a great location but a little over valued for what it was.

Self contained unit with kitchenette, including dishwasher and clothes washer. Clean, fairly bright, quiet area, easy walk to centre-town, West End, GrassMarket, Old Town and most other cultural destinations.

Filthy old synthetic pad under the lvg room rug Not needed and gross. Throw it away! Bathroom door not properly hung. Rubs on floor and sticks A H&S issue. Fix! Chrome-cast streaming to TV in lvg room is crap Barely works. Most TVs now have Apple AirPlay built in, which works flawlessly. Activate AirPlay option on the TVs ! Some basic items missing in the kitchen — serving bowl, fruit tray, medium cup, dish brush. I bought them and "gifted" them to the unit. Outside hallway stairwell carpeting badly needs cleaning or replacement. Worse, the stairwell window is sealed shut. Chemical deodorants sprayed to mask mouldy odour. Instead of spraying noxious crap, unlock the window! Allow fresh air into stairwell !

There was plenty of room. Check in and check out was easy with friendly staff. It was in a great location, easy to walk to most local attractions or to transportation to farther ones, with plenty of good places to eat nearby. The kitchen offered everything we needed for cooking some simple meals and the furniture was comfortable. There was a welcome basket of snacks and Irn Bru that we greatly appreciated. In all, it felt like a great value for the price.

These are all minor complaints, but the washing machine was loud, so it wasn't great to use it at night (but it was wonderful to have). The side of the tub was high, so it might give people with mobility issues some trouble getting in and out of the shower. Our drain was clogged with the hair of other guests when we arrived, but it was easily cleared and the shower was quite nice.

Clean, tidy and well presented. Very well equipped. Comfortable bed, good shower.

This was a nice place to stay in Edinburgh. Upon arrival we couldn't believe how big the apartment was! More than enough space for two people, so it would definitely be ok for two couples. The living room/kitchen area was huge. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher plus combined washer/dryer. The bedroom was conveniently located on the inner courtyard side, so there wasn't any street noise or light coming in through the bedroom window at night. We slept very well in the large and comfortable bed which had a pleasantly firm mattress. Edinburgh Castle is within walking distance. Also only a few minutes' walk to Tesco Express, cafés etc.

There was one particular staff member we had a very strange interaction with at reception. His awkward and smug demeanour was not really suited for the hospitality/service industry. But that was an exception, the two other receptionists who helped us at other times were great, really so helpful, welcoming and service minded! We also got some tips from them about taking the bus from a nearby bus stop to the airport which came in handy upon departure.

Was a very unexpected pleasant stay, went in thinking it might be a budget hotel, but it is very comfortable. Apartment was well furnished with all essentials like ovens, stoves, washer, dish washer. Toilet was nice and roomy enough to move around. Bed was very comfortable. Definitely will consider staycity aparthotels here and elsewhere as a first choice from now on. Staff was great, allowed us an early check in since room was ready, instead of having to store our luggage and check in at a later time. Toilet shower was great, temperature control is constant, don't have to adjust every time you take a shower.

Minor issue, shower screen in toilet wasn't sealed at the bottom, hence the floor gets wet when you shower, managed to work around by facing shower away from screen.

We were given an upgrade to a larger apartment which was a lovely perk. It was an easy walk 25mins to town and the Castle or there are several bus routes that go right past and were easy to navigate to it didn’t matter not being right in the heart of the city. The apartment had all features you could want. Was large, seperate bedroom, lounge room, lots of storage, good cooking facilities, washing machine and drying rack…. It was perfect for Christmas as nothing is open so we cooked our own food. The staff were helpful and friendly with luggage lockers if you need your bags held before or after check in. We loved our stay and felt so happy with our choice of hotel.

Nothing but a small suggestion is for some labels and signs with instructions. There were so many switches we didn’t know what we were turning on or off. Wasn’t sure how to control the temperature and needed to google instruction manuals for the washing machine and oven so some simple signs with basic instructions for these, and labels on some of the million switches eg heated towel rack, outside lights might be helpful.

We found the staff very helpful , friendly and answered any questions we had , whether it was on bus numbers , directions and getting us a taxi . The apartment was spotless. Everything you would need was in it. Nice touch off t-bags , coffee, milk, and sugar was there. It helped in making your first cup of tea when you arrive . The bed was comfortable, and according to my sisters, they slept there , i slept on the sofa bed . It was also very comfortable. The use of the storage lockers was great as we arrived a few hours before our room was ready . We stored them and headed into the city , luggage free . It was also very handy having a Tesco beside us for our essentials.

There was nothing I didn't like . The room was slightly too warm ,but we adjusted the temperature, so that solved that.
