Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms with good facilities. Good location for local town and other locations. Highly recommend.

Bar closed at 8pm rather than 10pm as advertised and no breakfast available, but that was due to an unforeseen and serious illness of a staff member. Bar staff ensured we had what we needed for the evening and breakfast was easily sorted locally. I’m sure things will be back to normal soon for them, and would stay again regardless.

Rooms had lots of character and were nicely furnished, the owner / manager was friendly and welcoming. We liked that there was a bar for refreshments when we arrived on the Saturday. Big carpark at the front and a nice sized garden at the side. It was useful to have a fridge in the room, as well as tea / coffee for hot drinks.

Nothing really - everything was as we hoped for. No breakfast included, but we knew that in advance.

The location was excellent for us. The building looked beautiful. Plenty parking. Staff were fantastic rooms really clean and warm. Plenty facilities. Towels tea coffees bottled water fridge hairdrier soaps shower gel and shampoo. Shower always had hot water.

Our mattress was a bit uncomfortable. . There were no breakfasts atm due to chef being ill. No Sunday dinner for same reason. At night parking area a wee bit dark. Couldn't get bathroom window open.

The host was lovely, room was comfortable and the facilities were great. It's conveniently located between Ludlow and Hereford which makes it a great base point. There's a lovely beer garden which means you can relax after a busy day and then head back up to the room afterwards. Views from the rooms are great and the building itself is beautiful.

I'd say the only downside is the room was a little dirty in terms of dust and cobwebs in the corners of the room. But that is literally my only complaint regarding the room. There also isn't any food available but as the owner has only just taken on the place, it's a work in progress. That being said - we'd absolutely come back and stay again, which we fully intend to do.

The room was spacious with high ceilings, excellent radiator heating, clean. The bed was large and comfortable. The wi/fi was free and easy to access. Lots of parking space. The hotel is very quiet at night. There is a bar and bar food in evening if required. Only ten minutes deive from Hereford with a bus service if required.

The TV cable hangs down the wall and spoils the decor. It could be tidied up but that is a very small point.

Kindly and welcoming staff though busy bar-tending. Cottage decor very attractive. Spacious seating in sitting room, bedrooms and kitchen- dining room. Private outdoor seating available. Hotel bedroom comfortable with modern bathroom en suite.

No fresh milk nor light meal available on premises though time taken to explain where food might be found. Water pressure in the bathrooms was too low so it was hard to have a proper shower/wash your hair. A loud humming noise outside Bedroom 1 that didn’t stop throughout the night (hotel extractor fan usually on a timer).

Second time staying here, absolutely love it. Warm and friendly. Inviting. Room absolutely gorgeous, tea and coffee in room. Kitchen up and working, able to have a meal. Quiet place, easy to get to city centre and other places to visit.

No breakfast served, disappointed. If you arrive late, nothing in morning. Breakfast would be nice, or have toaster in room. Other than than no complaints.

It hidden away, but still close enough to Hereford, a period country inn, pub lounge and bar serving bar meals, with local folk enjoying their drinks and meals there. I can’t comment on breakfast as I needed to check out before breakfast had begun.

The bathroom light goes off while your enjoying a soak in the spacious bath in the on suite bathroom. You have to wave an arm or leg to trigger the sensor to get it to go on again.

Lovely large room and spacious modern bathroom. Lots of character and history to the building with period furniture and original features. Generous supply of tea ,coffee and biscuits. Plenty of hot water. Ample free parking.

Unfortunately no breakfast provided at the time but I am sure this will be rectified shortly.

Clean and tidy. Spacious room. Comfy bed. Lady who checked me in was very accommodating and kind. Quiet location. Gorgeous gothic decoration.

No breakfast served but they clearly stated thus online before booking. I think maybe a slight reduction on arrival or money back would be kind as I spent over £100 for just a bed.
