The room was very nice. The staff were very pleasant & friendly. The hotel is modern, warm & clean. The buffet breakfast was very good with lots of choice.
We had dinner in the restaurant. Unfortunately the service was very slow, even though it wasn’t busy, to the extent that our waitress (who was very nice) felt the need to offer us free desserts & coffees to make amends, without us asking. The food was below average as well. I was asked to pay for wi-fi at check-out (£5 per day). Apparently there are paid & free wi-fi options. It was completely news to me that I’d apparently chosen the paid option when I signed up to wi-fi on my phone on arrival. To be fair, they cancelled the charge without any fuss at check-out.

The staff made our stay extra special by putting a lovely surprise in our room for our arrival to congratulate us on our 2nd wedding anniversary which was absolutely beautiful so the personal touch was lovely. The hotel room itself was huge and spotless and comfy. River view was amazing. Wouldn't change a thing.
The fact the hotel takes a pending transaction from you on arrival for the full price then charge you again on the way out and don't let you know. I am 6 days down and still no money back yet. I have stayed in many hotels and never had this before but the staff said "it'll go back in it's only pending" luckily I wasn't left short, as its not only pending when it comes to your bank balance, but someone else may be in a different position and wouldnt expect to pay twice and wait a week plus for the money on hold comes back into account. Very strange system. Other than this the hotel I would highly recommend.

The Service, when we arrived we were offered a preference of room location, I mentioned that my partner struggles to walk so not too far away from the lift. We were then given a room on the ground floor which was excellent. The staff were incredibly helpful and there was entertainment on New Year’s Eve which was spectacular. All in all a great stay.
Breakfast could have been better, however I did notice that quite a few guests did have breakfast most mornings so maybe a matter of taste on our part.

the location close to river walk and town, the room (in the adjacent Tomatin Lodge, on the right.of the photo), the bathroom ( great shower), temperature control in the room, excellent tea and coffee facilities, comfy bed, comfy piĺlows (4), big tv, (not used).
1. at reception I was precharged £15 more than expected, no explanation. That turned out on enquiry to be a deposit against extras. It would have been more polite to say. 2. 4 extras in room (miniature whiskey, cans of sparkling and bottled water, pack of fudge) had no label to say if they were complimentary or charged to the £15. I didn't touch them, assuming the latter. It should be made clear what they are and potential cost to guest. that felt like very mild chicanery.

I thought the breakfast was very good. A lot of variety. I asked to move to another room upon my arrival, since I only saw and heard the car bridge from my river view room. I didn't get much help. However the following morning I asked the morning staff and got a room, futher down the hallway with a wonderful view of the river, as I had expected on my arrivial.
The staff at the check in was not overly friendly when I came the first day. However later during my stay I experienced very friendly and helpful people. The person that checked me in for breakfast was very helpful and joyful. The service was very slow during dinner. I waited a long time for my glass of vine- and I help myself to the water at the bar. I thought the music was a little too high in the dining, reception, lounge area.

The breakfast food was very typical, but the staff was wonderful, starting with the man who meets you as you walk in. He starts your day off with a smile, and the rest of the staff follows suit. The location is great, an easy walk to downtown and quick access to roads outside the city for seeing the sites. We had trouble with the next stop in our trip and had to stay here an extra night. They were very accomodating and I couldn't have appreciated it more Should we come back to Inverness, we are staying here.
I didn't need any more than we got. It was all fine.

Great location, friendly staff, comfortable modern rooms and wonderful food and beverage. Usually hotel food is nothing to write home about, especially at a Marriott, but the quality of the food and bar was better than some of the highly rated restaurants we visited in the city during our short stay. The beds and linens are exceptionally comfortable and the rooms are quiet
It’s expensive - the room rate was a bit dear for the size, and the breakfast buffet is over $20 per person if you don’t include it in your room. Food and drink prices generally were nearly double than going rate off premises. But the hotel is very comfortable, the lounge and bar areas are pleasant with great views, and the food and service is excellent. So perhaps it’s a get what you pay for kind of deal.

Lovely hotel, staff were all very friendly and helpful. Very clean and spacious room with plenty storage, seats etc, super comfy large bed, an amazing large shower cubical and black out curtains were great too, no day light wakening you in the early morning! Breakfast was superb, great availability of choices with eggs cooked to order, ample well spaced tables to enjoy a quiet meal.
Would have been 5 stars but had to take off a star due to car parking charge of £10.00 per night with limited spaces. Also not adequate sound proofing for floors and ceilings, could hear people in rooms above walking around.

+ Incredibly, ridiculously friendly staff. They went the extra mile to help with everything, found us a place to have a work call, changed us to a better room, booked a table in the restaurant proactively, gave advice on the city. + Overall good value for money, room is spacious, bed for 2 big enough, clean. No luxuries but also not big complaints. Fulfills the product they sell.
+ Nothing in particular. It's not located in the poshest street in Inverness but this is just me being picky. Inverness is a nano town so walk literally 200 meters and you're already in the middle of the hustle and bustle of it all.

Great location, good value. Had a great view of the river from our room. Spacious room with great amenities. Overall would stay here again. Bed was comfortable. They do offer breakfast for a fee which we didn’t have time to do since we had a long day ahead driving back to Edinburgh.
Not many spaces to park. We had to park at a whole different car park which was only 5 minute walk. But a little inconvenient when it’s freezing out. Also only one of the elevators were working and it’s super small. None are deal breakers but would have been nice.
