I liked everything - it's a bit out of town but that gave me a good 20-25 minute walk to the center twice a day (buses were running but I prefer to walk). Good little market on the next block and great new coffee shop next door (free coffee at the hotel but I'm a decaf person). Big room, quiet when the windows were closed (surrounded by student dorms). Reasonably comfortable on humid days.

Leeds was more humid than I expected , so I'd prefer air conditioning but I understand it's available at other Roomz hotels. Otherwise, I was perfectly happy.

Value for money - Roomz hits the mark. Friendly staff, good sized rooms with facilities that you can basically look after yourself. Close enough to the city centre for a short taxi ride. Croissants and coffee for breakfast if you like. Need to publicise the car park only has 9 spaces, but large surface car park across the road. Suggest you head towards the city centre rather than the opposite direction as it becomes a different environment. Dominos, Indian restaurant and an off license within 50 yards

Space in the car park would have been a plus as it’s secure

I was studying a course at the National Film and Television School, which is literally across the road, the location is ideal for this. The bus to the City Centre runs frequently from around 200yds away. There's a range of food options nearby: branches of Co-Op and Tesco, restaurants, cafes, takeaways, Domino's. The room has a small kitchenette area with hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and plenty of crockery, etc. Free filter coffee and croissants each morning.

Lack of coffee in room. It would be nice to have it replenished on a daily basis, even if room service aren't due to service the room.

Clean, comfortable and fantastic kitchen facilities - multiple pans and a full four-ring hob. There was even a washing machine. Very quiet, despite there being several large groups staying - the staff are obviously good at separating the party animals and those who love sleep! The location was slightly away from the city centre in a student area, but the main shopping area was only 20-25 minutes walk. There was a well-stocked Co-op just down the road (the Tesco Express in the other direction is best avoided if you need anything other than an off-licence).

My main complaint would be that there was only one chair at the table, despite there being plenty of room and all other facilities being for two people. Also, the room was very hot - happily there was an opening window, which helped a bit. There wasn't a gluten-free breakfast option, but we had brought our own food anyway.

-Easy to walk to from Leeds train station -Just a straight line walk into the city centre, impossible to get lost. -Lots of room inside. -Room service was good, didn't even know they had been in my room until i noticed the sink was cleaner. -good sized shower. i am 6'3 and had good room. -Helpful staff, when i arrived my 1st room didn't have a microwave, it was very easy to get a different room.

-1st night my pillows were very uncomfortable, i doubt even Mike Tyson could have softened those bad boys up. However room service replaced them whilst i was out and my 2nd night was much more comfortable. So i'll just put it down to bad luck that i had bad pillows for 1 night. -There was a strange purple stain on 1 of the surfaces. I couldn't remove it and i presume the cleaners couldn't either, no matter how hard they tried.

Roomszzzzz seemed so relatively cheap that I wondered what we'd find so it was a very pleasant surprise and it exceeded my expectations. We chose this apartment for its location which was conveniently near to our grandson.....it would be quite a walk into town but there is a long stay car park immediately opposite the apartment block with plenty of spaces. The staff at the reception desk were very very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and contained everything you could need whether staying away just one night, like us, or for work/holiday etc. It contained a dishwasher, fridge, basic crockery, work station area and tv. The bed was very comfortable, linen nice quality, and the room was quiet.....probably the only drawback would be that we needed to keep curtains drawn for privacy as overlooked by apartment block opposite.....not a big issue as we were out most of the time. I believe there's a small supermarket just a few minutes walk away and if you want a super meal at good price go to MyThai which is 10-15 minutes walk away at 26 York Place, you need to book!!!!

Just the lighting......white voile would have given privacy while allowing lightness in the room.

The apartment was great in general. The facilities ie the kitchen was excellent. It has everything you could need to make your own meals. The bed was comfy and clean. A decent small bathroom with shower. Comfy double chair to watch TV and a small kitchen table. The staff were friendly and helpful. Free coffee and pastry for breakfast was a nice touch.

It didn't have air conditioning but even on a hot day it was still fairly cool for the time I spent there. Overall there was nothing that I did not like about their hotel and will use again for sure.

We loved that we could sort our own food and live home from home during our stay. It was convenient and met out needs. We could come & go as we pleased.

Minor details really but if I had to pick things, there were no hooks for coats or to dry towels on after use. We had to put our coats in the wardrobe, which took up the few hangers there were, and we ended up hanging towels on the back of chairs to dry for use the next day. Also, a cloth to wipe down work surfaces and the dining table after use, would be better than a sponge. The microwave was a grill too but not an oven. This was a shame as we had taken oven meals to cook which we had to microwave and then fry. We will know for next time though.

Lovely place to get your head down, was a nice surprise having everything you need in the room and the room itself was nice, bed was comfy and was nice and warm. Staff were nice checking in. Location wise its ok, easy links to the city centre but it's not that far of a walk to get to places like millennium Square, because it is out the way of the city centre it was quiet of a night. The WiFi is free and REALLY fast and reliable which has been a pain point of hotels I've stayed in the past. Overall this is a fantastic place to stay, and I will be booking again!

Shower was a bit small but that is the only thing I can think of and definitely isn't a deal-breaker by any means.

Excellent customer service, especially getting the late check out (1pm). The room was quiet, and was like a little apartment with hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, dishwasher, even a washing machine! The complimentary coffee (and hot chocolate!!) machine in reception was geat, especially as the weather was quite cold when we were there! And I am sure the free breakfast croissants would have been good too, but never made it down in time :)

These are 'minor' things, and didn't impact our stay. The room is quite big, but the bed has been positioned so that there isn't a massive amount of space either side or at the foot of it The microwave wasn't working (or I couldn't work out how to turn it on) - only needed it once, heated stuff up differently - forgot to mention it to staff. Neither of the above would stop us booking here again though! It was brilliant for what we needed!
