The room was clean and the beds were comfortable and fairly new. Location near Kings Cross was good, a few decent pubs and breakfast joints nearby. Easy connections to underground and trains. Given the current cost of hotels in London, this place provides good value for money.
The bathroom was very basic, and you had to turn on the lights outside (causing the whole room to light up if you had to go during the night...). No power outlets by the beds making it hard to charge your phones. There should be a night stand by each of the beds.

I walked in not expecting much for the price that I paid. As soon as I walked into my room my jaw dropped at how clean and tidy everything was. The bathroom was very clean and extra towels were left out for us. The bedsheets were fresh and the bed was very comfy.
There’s nothing I didn’t exactly “not like”. Just would’ve preferred more pillows as the ones we had were very flat. Other than that everything was amazing.

Good location for St Pancras International station. Staff on the front desk pleasant and very helpfull .Good shower in the room.Generally surprisingly quite, especially at night. We slept with the window open as it was hot and humid.
Some other, young guests ,a little noisy when coming in at night. We wore earplugs after the 1st nights disturbance.

Great location, nice single rooms with all ammenities for a good price
Very thin walls, you'll hear everything being said and done in the neighbouring rooms

I am giving 10/10 because for a 2-star hotel, it has everything you need. What you paid for, you got it. Room is renovated comparing to the pictures presented here, and quite all of the furniture is from Ikea, so it is ‘globally’ known type of a comfort. It is not small, compared to other single rooms in London (been in 3 hotels before). It is clean, they make up rooms on a daily basis. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely use this hotel again, as it is a good value. My room was on the ground floor, looking at the street. It is not busy by night, although near a main train station, it is a quiet street, the rush hours start at around 7am. The only thing to mention are a little thin walls, but nothing strange for an old building.

Great little hotel - I've tried several around the area and was very surprised with how clean and comfortable this place was especially for the price I paid.
I asked for an iron and ironing board - The iron was new and worked great (I've used ones at other hotels that dripped rusty water on my dress shirt which is a nightmare), the ironing board was a tiny tabletop version with practically no padding. That wouldn't be too much of an issue if I had somewhere to actually set it up! In the end I had to sit it on the floor.. I suggest the hotel buy a couple of cheap fullsize ironing boards from Amazon for cheap - would be much better. Ask for some extra pillows - the ones provided were an inch thick :D

The room was a good size. I stayed on the second floor and there is a lift. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean with space to hang clothes and a tv that worked fine. The WIFI was also very good. The room had a kettle with tea and coffee, and this was topped up by the housekeeping staff the next day. Bathroom was fine if a little cramped. The hotel is about 5-10 minutes walk from Kings Cross in a quiet area. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The night receptionist was kind enough to print out a ticket that I needed, and they were happy to look after my luggage for a few hours after I checked out. I was very happy with the service.
The hotel was pretty basic, but this was exactly what I expected - it had everything that I needed and for the price it was very good. The shower is not exactly powerful but it was functional and had hot water when I needed it. I can't complain about anything.

There was no breakfast included with my booking. I stayed two nights, and had stayed here previously. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were friendly and professional. After checkout I had a few hours to kill before an evening flight and could leave my luggage there to pick up later. Room was okay size, but not much space for clothing. The bathroom was clean and functional. The shower didn’t have much pressure but was still okay. There is a lift to all floors, and I was on the top floor.I would be happy to stay here again.
Only the weak shower was a little disappointing, but this is often the case and wasn’t a problem.

Second time staying here, and just as nice as the first. The room was clean as was the bathroom, the shower hot with plenty of water. The room boasts a large TV, comfy bed and a decent quantity of Tea, coffee, milk and sugar. The guy at Reception was really polite and even gave us early check-in as a room was ready and we had a show at 2.30pm. Location was ideal as five mins walk to St Pancras.
The view from our room, which this time was located at the back, was of some maisonettes, but to be fair we was not overly bothered as time was of the essence for us.

Alright. Do you get what you pay for (considering current London prices) ? Yes, you do. for approx. 70 GBP per night, this place is at a great location, the room is functional (albeit beaten up and old), it was clean and humble, and it did the job. Stuff was chill, and I believe they would have solved any issues if I had any, but I can't tell for sure. WiFi at great speed for hotel standards, exceeded all expectations on that front, and allowed me to stream + videocall and work at the same time.
I'd love an actual chair instead of the stool, and/or a larger side table for the bed. There was a lack of surface to work on as the "desk" provided is big enough for a laptop only. The sink was a bit clogged (but with a bit of good will it worked just fine). Shampoo was in sachets instead of small bottles, could have been better. Would love to see them offering some recyclable/very cheap slippers to guests.
