I do not know what people are saying bad thing about this hotel. it is standard for London or even better. i am travelling to London since 2004 and I have been in so many locations, poorer than this or much better. but the price that we paid worth everyting for the condition! hot water, clean bathroom, toiletries and towels, wide windows that we can open(in 99% of London hotels you cannot open).. we had courtyard view and it it vwry quiet. Bed was comfortable enough and I am very picky… it is true that thw hotel needs refurbisment, it is true that the bed is not king size, it is true that the furniture must be changed, but, the beddings were very clean, we even had coffee and milk.. for that price??? and if you cannot stand the atained carpets, you cand wear slippers… common, it is London…:)))

We stayed in Cromwell International hotel over Christmas, in the Junior Suite. This is THE best family room among 3 star hotels we’ve ever stayed in: split over 2 levels with 2 double beds, fairly spacious room (upstairs there is even a little desk which was super handy for work zooms). Downstairs we had a kettle and cups/glasses which also was handy. Again, this was the most comfortable set up we had for 4 people. There are all regulars of a 3* hotel (flat pillows, thin blankets, thin walls) - but for THIS value i don’t mind bringing my own pillow! Again, this was the most comfortable set up we had for 4 people. Very separately we want to mention the hotel staff: super friendly, always smiling and really keen to walk extra mile to make the experience. We forgot to leave the “clean the room” sign, the team cleaned it very late in the evening when we left for dinner. We bugged them multiple times with forgotten keys etc - always helped with the smile. And finally, our plane was late in the evening and my daughter came to sit in the lobby for few hours, they gave her a small spare room to rest. Big THANK YOU, we really had a fabulous stay. We found our perfect spot in London, so see you again in summer! :)

The staff was very nice and helpful. The location is the main attraction point, it was near the district, picadilly and circle lines of the subway, with which you can quickly explore the main attractions of London. The room I got wasn't that much worse than the 3 others ones I got on my trip, but it was a lot cheaper, even though it was in central London. I had the Internet in the room, not only in the lounge, which I did not expect, given the information on booking.com. I checked below the mattress and the folds in the corners, they were clean and free of bedbugs traces. The bed was comfortable. I expected a lot worse, given the reviews and the price.

There were some old mold and limescale stains in the bathroom, and the shower room door was a bit wonky. It could use a bit of in-depth scrubbing, to make it look tidier. Nothing too bad though, and for that price, I am not complaining. The room was right by the corridor, so it wasn't the quietest, but still fine. The room wasn't big, which doesn't matter to me, but may be worth mentioning.

The price! The room was clean, the shower was strong, modern bathroom, comfy bed, just enough storage, clean towels daily. Nice reception staff. parking was free after 7pm. It was great value First impression is dirty hotel as soon as you go through the door from reception. But my room was spotless clean!

They had builders in, but there was no noise I heard. They didn’t clean the common areas very well. To be honest I was expecting to walk out until I saw the room. First impression count and the hotel management needs to have a loud word with the builders about cleaning up. Come on managers kick some builders butt!!!!

Excellent Location near to tube, Amazing Staff, we were always greeted by all staff upon entry and departure to ensure we were ok and happy with our stay, especially Shareeq with his multilingual skills keeping many customers happy. Tastefully decorated hotel, very upmarket. We had an unrenovated room, this was very clean, very tidy, tastefully decorated to a very high standard, nice windows, posh bathroom, dressing table with chair, another table with another chair, wardrobe, towels, toiletries, air conditioning. The hotel was quiet, little noise from adjacent rooms. The stair case and landing carpet were original and stunning. Absolutely everything was provided as advertised and to a very high standard. Reading other reviews I have absolutely no idea what more the hotel could do, we had excellent service throughout at a very competitive price. I wish them all the best in their renovations and business, truly a pleasant place to stay,

After reading many bad reviews we were prepared for a bad accommodation. So we were very surprised at how good the hotel is. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was small but clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. There was a kettle, cups and glasses. The coffee and tea was replenished daily, the room was cleaned daily and provided with fresh towels. The bed was fresh and comfortable. Yes, the hotel is in need of refurbishment and there is damage to the furniture. But the price is very reasonable for London and the location in Kensington is very good. We felt very comfortable and will book here again next time. If you want a 5-star hotel, you have to pay a 5-star price.

The window was very difficult to open

The hotel is cost effective compared with many. The comfort service welcoming staff contributed to an excellent stay. The location is 200 meters from a tube station to access city, Heathrow many parts of London. There are shops and restaurants all within metres of the hotel. There is a bus out front to access museums Harrods and other key shopping area. A bus or 10 minute walk access museums, Kensington place and gardens and royal albert hall. I personally spent a day walking from the hotel to Kensington Palace Albert Hall walked around the corner to Victoria Albert museum, kept ambling along to Harrods, Oxford street Mayfair.., all too easy. If not up to walking buses run regularly and there are plenty of tube stations. I highly recommend this hotel. Although price may seem cheaper stay and enjoy your savings sight seeing or shopping.

It was fine from my perspective.

Very close to the metro station and within London transport zone 1. Very, extremely friendly and efficient personnel. I would like especially to express my gratitude to Shark, who is always trying his best to help the hotel guests. I would like to wish to all these young people all the good in their future careers and lives and to stay as human as they are now! The internet is of very good speed and coverage (I was on the 5th floor). The room is modest, but clean. The bathroom is after renovation and toiletries are provided. Also a kettle with coffee, tea and sugar are left. The ratio value/price is very attractive.

As the hotel is situated on a busy road, earplugs are mandatory. As the room is very small indeed, I would suggest the hotel management consider to rearrange the space as the kettle and the bin not to be hidden in the wardrobe. It would be better to equip the room with a chair, but not with a stool. I have passed trough spinal operation and my backbone should rest on a stable chair-back. (I paid for superior single room, but i was accommodated in a small double room, I do not know why...)

I loved the front desk staff, very friendly and helpful. Especially Shareeq, aka:Shark. My 5 year old granddaughter tripped on the sidewalk, I grabbed her wrist and twisted it. She was very sad upon entering the hotel and he helped her stop crying and she started laughing with him. He played with her in the lobby every day, and they quickly became best friends. She loved him and it made our stay very enjoyable. He has the best customer service personality and we are very thankful for the staff.

Wi-fi in the basement rooms were awful. Being in the basement there were quite a lot of spiders, thankfully they were small. Rooms could have been cleaner.

A small new lift was installed last year (2023), which reaches all full floors up to floor 4. Staff was very helpful and friendly and took quick action if something was needed. Rooms were overall clean. A kettle and some instant coffee and tea were provided in the room. Great location outside of Londons busy area. 2 underground stations within 10-15 minutes by foot. And a Sainsbury's right across the street and a tesco express right next to the closest underground station.

The building was at the time under renovation, and because of that, some renovation dust was expected. It might have also caused some blockage in our shower drain. The staff took quick action and sent a handyman the next day to unblock it. There were a little amount of dust bunnies right under the bed and some old stains on the blanket covers. A hair dryer wasn't provided in the room. However, we haven't asked at the reception if they have any available to borrow.
