This is the 2nd time that I've stayed in the hostel - great location in quiet Holland Park (closest tube station is High Street Kensington, circle - yellow - and district - green - line). Very close to the Design Museum. The hostel was perfectly clean. The dorm had triple bunks with curtains all around the bed for privacy. Bed was comfortable and the en suite shower had good hot water. Would happily stay there again
A UK plug couldn't fit in the socket by my bed (faulty) - fine for USB use, but my devices weren't compatible with that. No towels for hire so could only buy a dry towel for £6 (better to bring your own!)

Location, Closeness to Holland Park Tube station( 10 min walk) and Kensington high street station tube stn, , spacious garden / Park atmosphere of the hostel, premises inside/within the vast London Holland Park . Luggage storage facility , big reception hall .
No Microwave oven to heat outside bought food / No common kitchen for guests . To quite a mention, the route from Holland Park Tube station/ Main Road to hostel is quite difficult to locate for the new comers ., and we need to walk an uphill and down 15 mins approx ., to reach the premises. But , subsequently, will be used to. On one occasion for two or more days , the toilets (flush overflow) at first floor in the castle quarters weren't working properly , it was a very bad experience. Anyways , as its a Hostel with lots guests , its bound to happen , at times .

The location is perfectly situated away from any road noise. The 7-10 minute walk to Holland Park high street which provides for most of persons needs. The quality of Safestay is exceptional good which makes it stand out from other hostels nearby. The staff are very polite and helpful. The facilities are very good which makes your stay more enjoyable and the peace you encounter really helps if you need to think.
The only three things I found disappointing was that first the koi carp that were in the ponds are no longer there which big shame as remember just sitting there in peaceful ambience of watching them swim about and relaxing your mind. Secondly the stock levels of refreshments are not good and some items listed on the menu are never present as well as the prices for refreshments are seriously inflated. Thirdly the electric sockets in the reception/lounge area do not work due to them being loose and connection cannot be made. This can be seriously frustrating when working on laptop thinking your device is charging and suddenly switches off due to no electric charge.

Quiet sleeping time and being next to a park /inside the park. Well communicated and fancy hood (The neighborhood is one of the most expensinve areas in London). The beds had courtains and they offered lockers at a convenience price. I saw some other comments talking about safety and I was a bit concerned, however this wqs completely not my experience. My advice is to not arrive the first day at night, so you get to know the area. Is a hostel for sleeping in a quiet place and therefore not close to party places. Its cheap price may attract people of all shorts, but that happens in many (if not all) hostels. My advice for women is to book a only women room and arrive the first day in daylight to know the area. One has to cross a little path between trees but I did not felt unsafe at all. On top of that, there was opera shows in the part until 11 pm therefore there was people later than usual in the park (park closes at 9.30 pm). Toilets and lockers were super clean in my room, and corridors too.
The beds were not super confortable. The google review says its a 4 star hotel but its a HOSTEL and there are no hotel next to it.

LOCATION!!! It's located in an increadibly special place next to park, garden, historic opera house and more! My first morning I got woken up by peacocks which is definatly inkeeping with the surroundings (not the hostels decor sadly.). It's my favourite hostel because of this very reason
The beds are wrapped in a strange plastic that squelches when you move around. It's quite off putting, especially being a wriggly sleeper. The bedding and curtains are dark which gives the place a somewhat sad/sinister feel but great for keeping light out I guess. Not great for grubbling around trying to find your belongings in the dark.

I am grateful I chose this location. Affordable and central location of an amazing hostel. A park helped this country kid aclimatise to the big city. Curtains were nice touch for privacy. Amazing staff who helped me with my first time travel issues. Thank you. Will recommend to friends. Multiple bathroom options on each floor and common areas. Made new friends here and glad there is 24 hour access.
Not to be surprised but a 13 dorm mixed was a little too much. People came and went most of the time so got minimal sleep. Windows had to be kept open for air flow though an AC would have helped. Late night noises of animal or people was jarring but only once during my stay. Definitely will go for smaller dorm or a proprietary bedroom next time I stay here.

Very well located, the hostal is inside Holland Park and if you exit the park, you'll get to Kensington High Street, where you'll find everything you need: Boots, McDonalds, Zara, H&M, Underground Station and many Bus stops. What I enjoyed the most was the silence of the area. It's quiet and all you hear is the birds chirping in the morning. The hostal has a beautiful reception with a pool table, a ping pong table. It also has a huge garden with fountains and it's pretty awesome.

The admin are very helpful. Their rules are a little rigid though, I didn’t like that one can’t have anything delivered to them to front of house in their absence. I had ordered some cosmetics, told front reception and they said it is fine, only to check that upon delivery, they refused my package. It was such an inconvenience. I’d hope they’d allow delivery, since sometimes one is booked for like 14 days attending conferences in London, that’s a long time enough to want some things delivered. Also wi-fi doesn’t work in all areas, in fact they really have the shittiest wi-fi. Apart from that, staff are great, really value for your money.
Wi-fi not accessible to all areas, like none at all in the room I was in. No deliveries allowed, what a bummer! I couldn’t store items in fridge, example if you are like me, and need to eat early morning and take some pills, this place would probably not be the best as they can’t keep anything for you in the fridge. I don’t know if it’s a rule and just the person I spoke to as I did see others things in the clear glass fridge.

The hostel’s location is excellent, close to the metro, bus stops, and shops. We booked a family room with an ensuite bathroom, which is why we chose this hostel. Everything was clean, and the kids loved the bunk bed. We had a great stay, and we will definitely return.
The emergency light in the room was a bit inconvenient and disturbed our sleep. Additionally, Google Maps didn’t guide us directly to the hostel from Holland Park metro station. To find it, continue straight for a bit longer, pass the entrance to Holland Park, and look for the blue sign with the hostel name on the right. Overall, we had a great stay, and we will definitely return.

Probably one of the best hostels I have ever seen. For the price and the beautiful park setting, this is the first place on my list for future visits to London. Compared to some of the other budget hostels I have seen, this place is top quality for the money.
The shower didn't drain completely and the lockers didn't fit my lock but those were insignificant matters because the beds were clean and comfortable, the water was hot, the toilets, sinks and showers were clean and the food was reasonably priced.
