Check in very friendly room good and comfy

Breakfast. I am vegetarian and there was a lack of hot food options for non meat eaters, no veggie sausage etc and the scrambled eggs which are in the buffet the only eggs available are stored in a heat container with the meat sausages. This is not good or necessary they could have shared with the mushrooms or tomatoes. I found that to be very poor for a hotel of this calibre. No alternative breakfast that was aimed at vegetarians.

Absolutely lovely hotel in an excellent location, across the street from Gloucester Road underground station and a 10-15 minute walk from Harrods/ Knightsbridge. There are also buses that take you straight to Westfield Shepherd’s Bush and Marylebone. As a solo traveller I felt safe and the facilities were nice but a bit outdated. Old furniture and quite dark rooms. But the staff makes up for it, everyone were friendly and welcoming. I was greeted and checked in by Janet who was not only beautiful but also helpful and accommodating.

The rooms and facilities were a bit old and looked very used. And my air conditioner in my room were hard to figure out.

The location of the hotel was perfect as we were attending a concert at The Royal Albert Hall and the hotel was perfectly situated a short walk away. We asked for a quiet room and we got one at the back of the hotel. Breakfast was fabulous and the bar was still open after our concert and we were able to order beer and a cocktail which was served perfectly!

Very good hotel in a perfect location, just 2 min walk to Gloucester Road Underground Station, which serves for 3 lines. Walking distance to South Kensington and Knightsbridge. If I got a chance, I'd like to book here for my next visit to London, highly recommended.

Fantastic location, nice hotel. Staff friendly and room was smallish but ok for London.

Breakfast was expensive and pretty basic. Wasn't well replenished and we were asked 4 times for our room number and to sign while we were eating. Would skip that.

The hotel is located in a perfect zone. The staff is very kind and always available. Everyone was always ready to listen to our requests and anytime we asked for something, the staff quickly took actions. Very nice hotel bar, and even here...amazing staff. Despite all the issues we encountered in our room, the staff understood the situation and offered us: - an upgrade to a new room - hotel membership - credit voucher - free breakfast - free drinks - a refund equal to 50% of the total price I considered what I have been offered as a fair compensation. 5 stars customer care!

Unfortunately we found many issues in the room. But the staff did everything to fix them.

We stayed in the suite which gave us ample room to move around or just hang out. The location was perfect with many different restaurant choices just a short walk away. With the Gloucester tube stop nearby basically anywhere in London you might want to go is just minutes away. The staff was absolutely outstanding and everyone we dealt with could not have been more pleasant.

The only complaint we might have is that the air conditioner did not work very well, it just blew the air around. Luckily the windows could be opened a little to allow some fresh air in. Cromwell is a very busy street and the light and noise prevented us from leaving the windows open while sleeping.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was brilliant. Really near to Gloucester Road tube and great for the museums we wanted to visit. Walking distance to Hyde Park and lots of family friendly places to eat.

The room aircon was noisy. Plus I think there was some sort of external unit to out room which was noisy too. It didn't both me just the children. Unfortunately during our stay the keycard entry system went down, this wasn't ideal but I appreciate it was probably out of your control. Staff couldn't have been more helpful in taking us up to the room, repeatedly, however it did make me feel a bit bad coming and going and having to call on them to let us back into our room.

Location excellent, very comfortable.

Stairs to room, left a toiletry item in the bathroom and never contacted.

The reception staff were great, going above and beyond. The bed was very comfortable as was the settee in the bedroom. Location superb.

The bathroom is a bit tired, the curtains don't meet so letting light in. But the one issue that we didn't like was the staff in the bar. The young man greeting us didn't seem to want us to sit at the bar, and the barman was the worst we've experienced in a long time. 1st, he tried to persuade me to try a different drink when I ordered a prosecco, and seemed cross when I refused, then he refused to take a £20 note with King Charles on it, I mean seriously? They're legal tender and everyone else accepts them, but he wouldn't and couldn't really give a good reason why not. Very weird.
