Room is so cozy and the bed is such very good quality and comfy. Premium bedding too. Better than many 4-5 stars hotels. Staff super friendly. DLR station is very close. The room was super clean.

The window is not double glazed, so it might be cold if you don’t close curtains. Luckly is not too busy street, some sounds come in, but nothing dramatic.

Lovely pub with beautiful rooms above. Nice location short walk to cutty sark and uber boat.

The two codes to get in after 11pm were a pain as it was dark and I did struggle with them, I had no choice as I was at an event at the O2. 10am check out was a bit early, i think this would put me off booking again which is a shame as I really liked the hotel, I suffer with CFS so never good in the morning due to my meds, but hotel let me have an extra 30 mins but 11am check out would have been better.

The location of this pub is just a short 5 or 10 minute walk from the tube and was easy to find. It's right on the river too and a short distance from the foot tunnel which we used to go across to Greenwich during our stay. The welcome was friendly, genuine and informative. The room we had was spacious and characterful and had facilities for all our needs. The bed was especially comfy. Attention to detail was everywhere. Our included breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, including vegetarian, the food good quality and served with a smile. We loved it here and will definitely be back to stay in the future.

The room was very nice. It was clean, apart from the bin not being changed. Location was near a church, a school, and the DLR station which connects to Canary Wharf. Can’t speak to how safe the area is as we took a taxi to avoid walking in the dark at 11pm. Full English breakfast was delicious. Bed was very comfy. Staff were nice. I would stay here again.

Bin wasn’t changed, had an old cigarette packet in, some tissues and train tickets, left by the last guest I assume. Walls are thin, you can hear other guests. You can hear road traffic throughout the night.

Beautifully styled and spacious room, great location, incredible breakfast, and friendly staff. Highly recommend going for the slightly more expensive room due to the increase in comfort.

Stairs up and down, not accessible for those with mobility issues. The staff were lovely though and moved me to a first floor room (still up quite a few stairs though) so best to call ahead and request this. The bathroom is a little on the cold side, but this is to be expected in a listed historic building (and totally worth it for the floor-to-ceiling windows!!)

The Waterman’s Arms is located in a quiet part of London with a residential feel. Good links to public transport, buses, DLR, and River Bus stops within easy walking distance. The Thames and the beautiful river path with magnificent views is 30 seconds walk away, leading to the foot tunnel under the river to Greenwich and Greenwich Park. The pub itself is wonderful and the staff friendly, attentive, and helpful. The room was a good size, nice comfortable bed, and a small but well presented bathroom and shower which had a luxury feel. The included breakfast, was not a normal hotel or B&B breakfast. They have a restaurant style menu, with perfectly cooked options, which you can select from. We really enjoyed what we chose Drinks are extra. We would highly recommend staying here, and would love to come back soon

Beautiful bar, staff were nice, the included full english breakfast was good, generous portion, the room was nice, clean, nice touches, quiet. Easy to get into the city, felt like a safe area.

My own fault, hard to tell from a map when you don't know the area, it's very much residential, few shops nearby, but not an awful lot going on. Again, this doesn't go against the venue but bear this in mind IF you're looking for a vibrant area. It was a cheap enough taxi to the o2 arena.

The full English was well made and delicious, accompanying coffee with the meal was also quite good. While service was slow for breakfast the quality was worth the wait.

In the evenings when having our supper on more than one occasion, our order was incorrect or incomplete. When given the wrong dessert from what was ordered we were told that additional payment would be needed from us to fix this mistake, which we did not then do.

Lovely place just two minutes walk to the DLR with easy access to Canary Wharf, Greenwich, central London. Convenience shops just a minute away. Comfy bed, nice bed linen, well appointed, large room. Liked having the french windows that opened. Would definitely stay here again.

Paying a £20 deposit to use an iron and board. I paid on my card then the lady couldn't refund back onto my card so had to refund me in cash which was annoying. The shower was tiny, it probably won't be an issue for a lot of people but I suffer terribly with claustrophobia and I couldn't get out of there quick enough. The bathroom was clean and well decorated,however. It was just the tiny shower that I wasn't keen on.

Very handy from DLR and right next to riverside walk. Welcoming friendly staff. Beautiful and comfortable room. Historic building, sensitively restored. Breakfast was great - true restaurant quality. I was worried it might be noisy, but I wasn't disturbed at all. The rate I paid was equivalent to a standard room in a decent chain hotel - but my experience beat that by a mile.

It feels trivial to mention anything. The only comment I'd make was that access to the bedrooms was a bit inconvenient and it took several goes to get the code to work on the garden gate for my late return.
