Good location in Prestwich, just a short bus ride into the very heart of Manchester. It’ll cost you just £2 and is quite regular too. The room comes with easy to operate heating, a TV and tea/coffee tray. Breakfast is highly recommended, the full English is lovely. All staff seemed helpful, friendly and listened to any concerns or questions we may have had.
The window on the right hand side of our room was covered in a white covering, something like window cleaner of even paint. Either way, it obscures any view you might have had. The corridors can, it must be said, seem long and winding.

Good location, staff were excellent and very helpful. In a good location to be able to get into central Manchester. The property in general is lovely it also helps that at £54 for the night was good value for money!
Rooms are a little tired but functional, the beds are a good size but very basic and not very comfortable. And what appears to be normal these days, the worst pillows ever, might as well have not bothered. So thin with no support whatsoever! We pulled back the duvet to find 3 small spiders making home. And during our stay multiple spiders and various tiny members of wildlife decided to show themselves wandering the room. We just ejected them out of the window. Didn’t really bother us as we live in the countryside but I’m sure a towny may have a different view on that!

I stayed in a refurbished room and it was lovely, clean and.comfortable. The bathroom and shower was fab. Staff were really nice and helpful. Had a meal in the bar and it was good.
The room was just off reception and it was quite noisy. The room was nice but there was no plug sockets by the bed and mirror so it was hard to dry my hair. I would not want to stay in a room that had not been refurbished, very old and tired.

The lodge is slightly outside of Manchester so it was quiet. There was an event there on that particular weekend so I can attest that the hotel rooms are well isolated from the bar / restaurant noise area because we didn't hear anything at all. The room was small but did the job we needed (we litteraly just needed to sleep and be able to take showers). The staff was extremely nice and amazing (we only spent one evening there and the receptionist remembered my name when he saw me the next day).
It's not easily accessible by means of transports and it was a bit hard to get uber drivers in the area. However, the reception can easily book taxis for you so if you need one, just reach out to them :)

It was away from the main road & it was a quiet location. Easy to find. The bed was very comfortable & the room was cool. Staff very nice & gave me an umbrella to use as it was raining when we went out.
Our room was on the ground floor at the back, room 20. There was a building site to look at, but also the window needed replacing as the sealed unit was clouded, so no view. Very noisy people above us late at night which was unfortunate. Would ask for an upper floor room next time. Could do with a shelf in the bathroom & something in the shower for toiletries. We will stay again if we are in this area.

Good location just outside of the city centre, great value and plenty of parking spaces..The rooms were modern and spotlessly clean, comfy bed and fantastic shower. Staff were very helpful throughout and got a excellent coffee the next morning. Stayed with my cousin for the Manchester United vs Chelsea match, will definitely stay here again, your on the cusp of the centre without the silly prices!
The heating if anything could be turned down as even in December it was too warm but only a minor detail.

Beautiful place! Truly exceeded my expectations! Under floor heating and heated mirror in the bathroom, beautiful Xmas tree in every area downstairs, real fire place, well equipped and clean gym, large pool and loungers to relax, also sauna and steam room but did not get to use. Will be sure to use then next stay. Beautiful grounds and drive from main road. Will definitely recommend it!
Sadly they were out of salmon on the menu an the substitute fish pie wasn't the best but overall really lovely.

Absolutely brilliant, 2 minutes walk to top of road and buses every 10 minutes in town centre 10-15 on bus, The staff are absolutely 💯 amazing, so helpful and very friendly. Thank you, especially to the manager ( I didn't get his name) he was brilliant at his customer service skills and handling our noisy neighbour who wanted at Rave at 2.30 in the morning. The bar is always busy with lots of functions held here, but once in a room, you could not hear anything. The rooms were spotless, and housekeeping excellently 👌 cleaned daily, including hoovering of stairs and the little things that you'd not normally see dome on a daily basis. Some of the decorating carpets could do with updating but really can't complain for value for money and the location, with staff on top I'd definitely stay here again.
Seemed like a maze getting from reception to our room, left down 3 steps right up 4 steps into a corridor that was long, left down another 4 steps up 6 steps, etc etc etc. (not a true description, but hopefully, it'll give you an idea) Only had a shower in the room, would have been nice for a bath. In the bathroom, the towel rail was on all night, which did make the room hot.... so I did sleep with the window open.

Travelling and spending money on things other than sleep. It’s cheap , can’t expect 5 star at the price . We splashed out on a Full English as we couldn’t get a coffee in the neighbourhood at 8am , everything was closed. We shouldn’t have even tried, the breakfast was fantastic and the staff incredibly helpful. Thanks
Probably the bed.

Nice and tidy. Lovely clean bathroom.
Could smell smoke in the room. Walked down corridor there was a smell of cannabis also very loud noises of someone being intimate banging of headboard. Whoever it was wasn't bothered.!!
