Great location, good & clean facilities and easy to get to by car or train - An excellent hotel.

The queue for breakfast was a bit of a joke - We were part of the biggest breakfast queue I’ve ever seen! Plus it moved forward about 10 metres in 15 minutes given there were at least 100+ people in front of us so we decided to go elsewhere for breakfast. Not great when we’ve paid for breakfast at the hotel! Granted there are signs around in the lobby and lift areas so it is clearly a known issue, however, there is certainly a lot more that could be done.

The rooms were clean and modern

The breakfast situation was appalling. The worst. The food was substandard. There were no available clean tables when we arrived for breakfast. We eventually sat at a table that hadnt been cleared or cleaned. 20 minute wait in a line. Arrived at the breakfast buffet to be met with empty containers. Poor choice, of pastries and fruit. And then no cutlery. 3 of us were forced to share 1 fork to eat our food. 1 of my children ate bacon, beans and toast with a spoon. Very few staff, non seemed to be aware or dealing with the problems clearly visible. Lots of unhappy frustrated guests, one describing it as a “shit show” The worst breakfast experience of my life which put a negative twist on what was until this point a pleasant stay

We requested a room on a higher floor and one of the staff member Hannah offered a room on the 7th floor which was great. Both, room and a bathroom were clean. Our room was quite spacious with a nice design and a view to the mountains. Bed was comfy and room was warm enough especially now during those colder days. We didn’t get up for breakfast so we can’t comment on the food but breakfast was included. Location was very good, close to everything you need in the city centre. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Check out time was by 12:00 pm which is perfect. We’d definitely stay there again. Hilton has never disappointed me.

There was nothing that we didn’t like.

Breakfast was great, a good mix and dairy free and veggie options. Bed was very comfy, room and bathroom were big and spacious, lots of plugs. There is a car park 2 mins away that was very bus and is £4 all day so much cheaper than one with hotel and same vibes, just an on street unmanned car park, or there is a qpark not too far (15 mins walk maybe). Tv worked great and checkout is late! Gym on site!

We heard all the plumbing around our room through a grid and it was very very very loud. You can hear shower, toilet, sinks, but no people, voices footsteps, which is why i think it is just the plumbing. We were so jetlagged we slept through all and it wasnt an issue.

Decent sized double room. Shower/bathroom first rate. Breakfast untill 10.00 in the week was helpful as was a checkout time of 12.00. Very helpful front desk staff.

Our room had an interconnecting door....not requested on our booking and we weren't really happy about that. Extensive choices for breakfast , but no fried eggs , dry over- cooked bacon , poor sausages. So only 7/10 for breakfast. Hotel is on the perimeter of the main shopping areas. Other hotel options would have been better.....however well positioned for AO Arena concerts. Overpriced compared to Premier Inns.

Everything in the building was very new and well cleaned and taken care of. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom area incl. the shower was very spacious. The room itself was spacious too and had nice furniture eg. the chairs. Decent enough TV. Breakfast was undeniably the best bit. Good distance away from Picadilly Gardens so is a bit more removed from any noise or unpleasantness.

Not much! There was minimal dirt/discoloration along the shower door but that’s not anyone’s fault. Wish the air conditioning was a bit stronger as the room could get a bit stuffy at times though!

The location was excellent walking distance to the city center.

After checking in, I realized that it was accessible room which was my mistake in my booking. I approached the reception for a change but the person at the reception was not willing to swap room. When we wake up in the morning there was no water and light, even worse the alarm went on with immediate evacuation message. I think we were on the fifth floor, we managed to exit to assembly point. There was not any staff member to brief us whether it was a false alarm or a real one. We went to the reception and was informed as it was a false alarm. It was an experience. To their credit, they swap the room for the second night, which we are grateful for the staff of the new shift.

Excellent hotel always stay here when in Manchester. Easy access to centre

Always request early check in and when finally received email stated would assist if could. On arrival was told has used booking.com there would be £10 charge. Told receptionist had stayed several times before and never been charged and on email there was no mention of a charge. She spoke to manager and came back with on this occasion will waive charge but for future reference if booked through booking.com will be charge. When I advised the email did not mention this I suggested that guests should be advised when requesting. Response was that's the rule. Suggest young lady on reception needs more customer service training.

Rooms were lovely and comfortable and stylish. Double bed and single bed was ideal for me hubby and our 8 year old son. Great to have air con as windows don't open on first floor. Breakfast was lovely. But overall the options for breakfast hot or cold were great. Everyone was really lovely. Lifts were odd lol but once we worked how to use them it was cool. Parking was ideal. Limited spaces at a cost.of £25 for 24 hours but safe in their location in the basement of the hotel.

Maybe more options on eggs rather than just scrambled. Fried would have been nice. Or poached. Mushrooms needed cooking more. They look rather pale. But nothing to moan about. It was all lovely and edible.

The hotel looked very appealing and felt very upmarket. We were happy with the room. The staff were lovely and couldn't do more to help. The carpark was very secure and we did not worry about leaving our car there overnight.

We went for breakfast during peak times 9-10am and queued for 30 minutes for the hot food, for there to be hardly anything left with another 20+ people behind us, fresh food was on its way but due to the queue we had to make do with what was left. The food was cold and bland. We rang the buzzer at the entrance of the carpark to ask about room in the onsite parking (as there is very limited parking) and did not get a response, we then rang the hotel reception to ask and we were lucky enough to get a space, but it cost £25 when there is a carpark opposite for £4 for overnight.
