Picked the hotel as its literally outside the arena and couldn't be bothered travelling at night. Yes it's more expensive than most hotels around the area but worthwhile if you're going to an night time event at the Arena, you'll be in bed within minutes. Our room was fine as you'd expect from a Radisson, comfortable bed, a great shower and endless lighting options if you're in to that. Breakfast was decent with plenty of options. although the coffee machine is a bit naff, shame they don't allow free coffee's from the bar like many hotels do at breakfast time. The hotel has a spa which unfortunately we didn't have time to try.

My girlfriend confusing Manchester AO arena with London O2 Arena for an Ed Sheeran concert... She also managed to book on the wrong day as well as in the wrong part of the country (thanks babe). This isn't a criticism of the hotel though, but Booking.Com asked me what I didnt like., and I didn't like that. Ed Sheeran was v good though.

Comfy beds, good choice of breakfast (maybe few extra pastry options and black pudding) lights over headboard. Staff friendly. Great location for AO arena, print works, bus station and arndale centre.

Unfortunately room cleanliness fell short on this stay but having had a perfect stay previously wouldn't let that put me off staying again.

The hotel was in a great location for me. It's a little walk from the city centre. The bed was very comfortable and the room is spacious. Bathroom is well equipped.

There was noise from the refurbishment going on, despite being told it would be minimal. Doing a work call one afternoon there was constant drilling for over an hour in the next room. The TVs have been retuned and so ITV/Ch4 etc are on the wrong numbers - reception sorted it, but said every customer is asking the same thing. I am surprised something wasn't put under the door to say what to do rather than everyone having to ask. My shower gel and shampoo provided were empty on arrival, but they were rectified.

The location was superb for the AO arena. 100 yards away and you're there. The staff were brilliant and very helpful. The reduced rate parking was a nice bonus. Rooms were lovely and very quiet considering you were on a busy junction. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was fantastic

Friday night the heating in the room was non existent. I queried this with the staff on Saturday who assured me it was on but despite me having set it correctly, we had to have a heater sent up for Saturday night as we were freezing. The bar shut at midnight which was a surprise for a 4 star hotel. Purchasing sweets and drinks from the hotel reception requires a second mortgage.

The room sizes are good but rooms are a little outdated. Me and my partner have stayed here numerous amount of times and had a issue with a broken bed, tv not working and overall a bit of shabby rooms eg stains on carpets ect but what i will say is that its amazing value for money and any problem i ever had was fixed extremely quickly and thats why i will always come back to this hotel every-time i go to Manchester . The staff are always nice and we have a nice stay. I was last there in June and was told there starting reno for the rooms and the new rooms look lovely so looking forward to future stays.

Rooms could have a better stocked coffee machine and a bit of a face lift but i have seen the new rooms that are being done at they look great cant really fault the hotel cause price and location are great. One thing i will say is i feel that all rooms should come with fridges as it makes a nice touch i like to have cold water in my room and bar shuts around 10/11pm.

Reception and bar staff were fantastic. Especially Woody. Location ideal for arena. Rooms really comfortable… could go with a bit more tea and coffee though. Breakfast was decent. Felt expensive for what we got though… one let down was the spa. Opens at 8.00 on a Saturday.. we arrived at this time but staff didn’t turn up till 8.10.. and then she couldn’t find key. By the time we got into the pool it was 8.20. We had 10 mins of a decent swim before lessons started. We couldn’t even relax in the sauna or steam room because they’d only just been turned on and were freezing. If you’re charging £200 a night need to make sure facilities are worth this.

I stayed for a two night break with my daughter to have a combination of relaxation to use the spa facilities and to also shop until we dropped. The property enabled to do that as it was in a great location.

We wanted to use the spa facilities ie pool and gym, although we did not want to have any spa treatments on this stay. We found that the hotel staff were exceptional, although the spa staff not so friendly or professional , for example when using the pool we had to walk through reception and sign in where we overheard staff talking about clients and we were not provided with a dressing gown or flip flops , apparently when we enquired, these were only for spa days or customers having a treatment, due to the spa being a concession. We would have thought these were essential for using the pool.

Very friendly staff who were happy to help. Room had Air Conditioning which was very good and the bed was very comfortable. Pool was small but perfectably acceptable with a very good sauna and steam room. Location was very good being only a 2 minute walk to the AO Arena and Victoria station area just over 5 minutes away. Parking is available at the citi car park right beside the arena at a cost of £22 per day but if you ask at reception on checkout you do get a discount voucher. We paid £26 for 2 1/2 days (Nov 2024)

Room was clean and tidy on arrival with a nicely made bed. However, on the second morning room service comprised of the cleaners just throwing the duvet over the bed without actually making it and changing the towels, nothing else was done or cleaned. Talking to other guests our room wasn't the only one that they did this too.

The room and cleanliness was great. However we did have to call reception and ask for some hand soap. The dispenser was empty and it was 20 minutes or more before someone came up and sorted this. the breakfast was excellent - loads of choice.

We were quite disgusted by the corridor on the 4th floor leading from the lifts. It looked like the carpet had not been vacuumed for more than a day. the whole time we were there - from 3pm on the Saturday to 10 am on the Sunday, a plate was on the floor in the corridor. I can't believe that a member of staff had not been in the corridor during this time. We know at least the guy who came to our room to bring the hand soap was there and must have seen this plate and if it was not his job then should have told someone about this.

Really handy for AO Arena and Victoria Station. Room large and bed comfy. Staff friendly. BIG SHOUT OUT TO AGGIE...I was by myself and taken ill on Friday night. Distressing episode. Only men on night shift but they caught Aggie, just after Midnight, who was heading home. She stayed and helped me, calmed me down and sorted things out. Came to check on me on Saturday and Sunday...THANK YOU SO MUCH. Didn't have breakfast but it looked very good! Bar staff made the best Espresso Martini...had to check first one wasn't a fluke 🙃

Couldn't get ITV on television, along with other channels. Couldn't get through to Room Service, had to go down.
