Lovely warm welcome from Mark and breakfast was served with a smile and great service. The room was fine. I like quirky and chintz! Beds were comfy and plenty of spare bedding in the wardrobe. Lots of tea and coffee and the fridge was useful. Toiletries were a bonus. Bedding and towels were clean. WiFi reception is great. Toast, boiled eggs, fruit, cereal and juice was perfect for breakfast.
Bathroom shower door is a bit difficult to use and the blind was filthy. The shower, sink were clean. Toilet needs a thorough clean for timescale and the brush needs replacing but these were minor irritations. I'd happily return, just for the welcoming staff.

Liked the quaintness of the building and interior. Mark was very welcoming and helpful. Beds and furnishings comfortable and inkeeping with the period of the house. Breakfast was ample and it was nice to be offered boiled eggs. Liked that I could park on the forecourt and get the bus into Oxford. I was upgraded from a single room to a twin-bedded room.
Little bit of black mould at bottom of shower cubicle. One wall light not working, but not a problem. Only shampoos in bathroom - no shower gel. No biscuits with tea tray. These are just small niggles. It won't prevent me staying there again.

Well located for an easy walk into city centre, takes about 50 minutes. Summertown is about 10 minutes away in the direction of the city and has a good selection of shops and eateries. Very friendly staff. Very clean and tidy. Having a fridge in the room is a very welcome addition. Although a cooked breakfast is not an option, boiled eggs and toast, cereal and a selection of fruit is plentiful.
Nothing to dislike really. Only grumble being the poor water pressure in the shower. If spending time in the room the only seat was a little uncomfortable if you didn't want to lie/sit on the bed.

Good location off motorway, decent size room with excellent facilities (fridge, kettle, TV), nice dining room. Lots of sockets for the many plugs most travellers have. Room temperature perfect. Roomy shower and complimentary individual shower gels/shampoo - lots…. House very quiet even when it was fully occupied and very clean. Continental breakfast included. The most perfect boiled egg I’ve had, cooked by Sue even though it was 10 mins before breakfast ending. Nothing was too much trouble. Mark as a host, was utterly charming and nothing was too much of a bother. Totally helpful and very friendly. Free Parking available but a little tight when it’s fully occupied.
A little dated and single bed past it’s best. Could do with a little bit upgrade in the carpet in room 7. However, it was perfectly acceptable and very clean. Breakfast doesn’t start till 7;30 which is too late for many business travellers as the traffic is horrific after 7:30 in that area. No desk /table in the room to use laptop, had to put side table and draws together.

The room was on the main level right across from the breakfast area and was roomy with one queen and one single bed. We had ample space for luggage and lots of closet space for three people. We were expecting a Bed and Breakfast cottage style and that's what we got. I wouldnt call it outdated, I would call it charming. The staff was very welcoming during breakfast and friendly. The breakfast had a veriety of quality foods and was delicious and filling.
We were a little surprised to find a note on the front door when we arrived that simply stated to just find your key under the mat. This was our first trip to Oxford and this might be how things are done here. The key was there and everything was straight forward.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The BNB is old so there is wear and tear but they have done very well to keep it nice, especially at the price point. Free parking near Oxford is awesome. The staff is all so friendly and wonderful. There is a bus stop very close to the accommodation and getting into Oxford is so simple. Almost every bus goes to the city center. £2 per person each way. Awesome! Breakfast was so nice. Fresh fruit, coffee, tea and cooked to order hard boiled eggs and toast. I think the price is reasonable and I would definitely stay again.
We didn’t have control of the heat in our room. I would like to have been able to control it. But the temp was ok so it worked out.

I had a wonderful stay and the cleanliness of the house is beyond my expectation. Mark is super friendly and provided very good information on the bus services and places of interest to visit. The house is warm, cosy, clean and pretty with all the victorian/country furnishings. The dining room setting is awesome and the breakfast provided may be simple but it comes with a generous serving and there is a few varieties of fruits and the coffee is superb! There are few buses to the city centre and it takes less than 15mins. Both driection bus stops are about 2-3mins walk from the house.
Nothing!

Regular communication prior to visit, exact instructions on access and helpful assistance given. Room perfect size for visit with basic supplies space for everything to fit in, didn't mind standing to use my sewing machine but longer time would have liked a table and chair especially for using laptop. Bed was a bit wobbly as I moved it away from the radiator and I always travel with a sleeping bag as I find hotel beds are cold generally. Comfortable and slept well as I prefer flat pillow. Shower was lovely and hot. A lovely well maintained home with beautiful furniture and decor.
Sorry I couldn't work out your door locking system as I didn't know about the key and door handle turning at the same time, Front door sensor light on please as I had my hands full with luggage.

Staff was really friendly and helpful. They have replied to all my requests and were very flexible. Breakfast was really nice and we felt like home. Easy location for Open Days in Oxford. It's not close to Oxford city center but there is great bus connection and you can always walk if you're up to it. It's a lovely area. There are restaurants, supermarkets and small shops nearby. Comfortable beds. We were there during summer, the weather was really hot and we struggled a little with that. However they were really kind to arrange a fan to us.
