The space is very boutique hotel vibe but with the added character of the building and the setting it’s akin to a SC apartment with nice quality fixtures and well chosen accessories and a very comfortable bed. the bathroom was a treat! And the space feels relaxing and comfortable, great for an independent traveller looking for a space large enough to chill but also utilitarian for working, I had 2 work meetings in person and it was great to be able to convene them in such a lovely space. The owner/manager is very responsive too and the customer support is exemplary including Lucia who maintains the spaces and ensures you have everything you need, super personable and remembers you after almost a year between stays, that’s quality client support. Top notch, affordable, pristine and discrete, best place to stay in the area hands down.

Nothing in the space but some of the other occupants smoked weed which made it up from the ground to the top floor, it’s ubiquitous nowadays but quite annoying especially as the building stipulates non smoking , Oves the owner came and sorted the situation out too so it was fleeting, another example of the exemplary client support offered by Winckley Sq Residences.

Very well kept room, clean and the kitchenette is well stocked. Loved the welcome basket with snacks! Small things like shower gel and towels , even milk and water in the fridge made such a difference to the stay. We ended up at the wrong address somehow and the staff guided us to the right place and even walked us through the self check in. Very well managed place, would love to come back

Mostly great, but there was some smell of the cleaning solution in the bathroom - maybe a steam extractor would help?

Small selection of breakfast items and tea/coffee/milk provided which was good. The rooms are nicely decorated and the location is excellent for the city centre. Very clean although our kitchen bin had some rubbish still in it.

There is an awful smell from the drains. I noticed on other reviews, guests had mentioned it but thought at time of booking that it would have been rectified. It hasn't and would stop me from booking again. If you want to cook, you will find a lack of kitchen items. Just the very basics are provided. Excellent showers!

The property was very clean and the furnishings finished to a high standard. It was five minutes amble to all the town centre facilities you would need and close to the delightful Winckley Square gardens and Avenham/Miller parks in a quiet area of the city. We had a slight problem of my own making and was given very friendly and helpful assistance from the owner.

Perhaps a little on the small side but that is a personal preference and does not detract from the overall score I’ve given.

The room was perfect for my stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the large screen TV was great for an evening movie. The kitchenet was set up well and allowed me to prepare my favourite breakfast. The shower was lovely.

Nothing. In fact, I have recommended Winckley Square Residences to my wife as a great place to come back to together (I was traveling alone on this occasion).

To be aware of the car parking that was nearer to the residence, instead of only discovering this in an email sent 20 mins to 3pm, when parking arrangements had already been made and we had to walk 10 to 15 mins

Location, decor, bed firmness, good water pressure in the shower, secure room, fresh milk in the fridge (not those little uht pots), clean plates and dishes.

The windows were difficult to open and close, there was a boy racer ragging his engines just before midnight (not the hotels fault! Just very loud for a quiet room), a little bit of black mould in the seals in the shower.

Beautifully decorated, lovely kitchenette and bathroom. Had everything we needed. Complimentary snacks, tea and milk etc was very welcoming after a long journey. Easy to access with simple check-in procedure.

Having to park away in a car park. Noticed that there was on street paid parking available right outside. Fridge quite noisy which could be a problem for light sleepers.

Superb location - very convenient for town centre and train station, but quiet too. Winckley Square is a nice place to be. The accommodation (I stayed in the penthouse) was lovely - very comfortable, private, quiet. Excellent bathroom, bedroom and living area. Small welcome pack was a nice touch too.

Very nice place. Clean and comfortable, with all the amenities needed. Good location for the city centre and train station. Very quick communication, and easy self check in.

As with all hotels, could do with more light, specifically by the mirrors. Best light was in the bathroom but the mirror is above the basin without a shelf so nowhere to put cosmetics. Lovely overhead rainfall shower, but small corner cubicle so no place to escape the water and actually wash hair and body without it being rinsed away immediately. Neither are big issues though, so no real complaints.
