A very pretty and comfortable hotel. Our room and bathroom were quite small but well equipped. Very comfy bed and pillows! All of the staff were excellent and could not do enough for us. Breakfast was excellent with a good menu choice. One night we ate at their sister hotel, the Duisdale, because the restaurant was closed at Toravig. Excellent food!

We had not realised that the restaurant was still closed because it was still a little early in the season. There was a shuttle provided up to their sister hotel's restaurant but you need to pre-book, there was no space for us for the first two nights.

Breakfast was fine, surroundings very nice

Bathing in the bath was dangerous, accident could happen easily, no grab rails available, slippage was highly possible with no means of supporting oneself. Had to get assistance to get out of the bath. This was drawn to the attention of the duty person before leaving.hotel currently runs risk of legal action if not addressed. Was surprised that no hotel inspection did not reveal this probability of legal action being taken if accident arose due to no support grab rail being provided.

Very cute and clean place. We liked that while they only served breakfast, they had on offer a cheese board option in case you got hungry at night! The room provided slippers which was a nice addition compared to other places we stayed in Scotland. Rooms were small but comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast was excellent!

Just a few small things - location is a little remote but worked for us as we had a car and allowed us a quick entry and exit from skye, the bathtub May be difficult for elderly guests to use, would have liked charging points in room for international travelers.

The staff were absolutely incredible and the most lovely people. The amenities were very impressive. We were asked for request before arrival for food preferences which we received, and I requested a room with a bath if possible which we were very grateful for. the complimentary taxi to and from a neighbouring restaurant was above and beyond what we expected and definitely enhanced the experience of being thoroughly well looked after. local gins and whiskeys available in the bar downstairs was a very nice touch. all in all, we’d definitely come back for a stay again :)

Great service and the Inn was very clean. Breakfast was exceptional. Good location if you are departing by ferry next day. Sister hotel restaurant very good. Shuttle service was a plus.

While I’m sure other rooms were better strongly recommended you Not stay in Room #1. It’s a top of stairs and above front entrance door and reception. Also the bed is too low and needs a new mattress.

Didn't read anywhere that the restaurant was closed. Not great for late check-in. Don't think I'd have chosen this hotel knowing that to be the case. Heating Radiators didnt work and constantly gurgle (air locked) but thankfully an electric heater in the room which helped dry some damp clothes from the previous day rain shower we were caught in.

it is very attractive inside and out in a peaceful beautiful setting. rooms were up to date with extra electrical outlets and ports. Clean and peaceful. we were graciously greeted and really felt wanted by the personnel. they helped us with directions and planning our daily travels. the food was good.

nothing really. I can imagine some folks complaint the the bathroom was tiny (but up to date) and there was no lift to the 1st floor but it really was of no consequence to us.

The rooms were very well appointed with all the little extras to enhance your stay. There was a nice selection of single malt for a nightcap when returning from dinner. The breakfast was fantastic.

The parking was a bit crowded and there was a temporary issue with lighting outside. To be honest, we loved the place.

The location was great in terms of closeness to a beautiful view and for dinner we decided to book into the hotel. This was a sister hotel down the road which the hotel had a driver pick us up and take us and when we were ready to return he drove us back! Such a great service to offer! We were on our honeymoon and on arrival they congratulationed us on our marriage and she was so attentive to us. We felt very special and looked after. The customer service continued to be brilliant when the taxi was slightly delayed the lady gave us a glass of fizz on her while we waited. She was very professional, warm and friendly. The hotels facilities were good and well maintained with beautiful views from all the bedroom and bathroom windows. The shower in the room was new and water pressure was great, which is always a surprise in old buildings. The rooms view was beautiful and the bed was very comfy and large. We enjoyed making use of the bar area for a drink before heading out for a meal in the sister hotel. The staff were all very accomodating and professional,also very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was table service and the team were very helpful and friendly. It was good quality food and they had a good secretion of gluten free options too. Great way to start the day. The car park is on site which is very useful. Dinner at the sister Hotel Duisdale Hotel was amazing! The teams professionalism and level of customer service was so high and we felt very happy and looked after. Special mention to Robert who created 2 giant cocktails for us which were not on the menu and kept coming back to.make sure we were okay. The meal was delicious and they were very accommodating with the gluten free dietary requirement my husband required. We felt very relaxed and at ease there. We were the last ones In restaurant and loved every second of it. Robert even made is a to go cocktail which was very kind!

Breakfast was excellent. Produce quality (especially the vegetarian haggis) was particularly good and customer service was brilliant - very professional and attentive. Thank you ladies!

Dinner at the Duisdale (sister hotel) was only available option. This was not of the quality nor was it to the very high customer service standard set by the professional and helpful staff at Torvaig House. There is a real need for a staff training programme to be implemented at the Duisdale. Alternatively, the management should consider providing a chef at Torvaig to ensure the high quality organisational and customer service standards, set by the Torvaig staff can be maintained for the entirety of the guests stay.
