I spent Christmas at the Plockton Inn and it was one of the most perfect stays I have ever had. From the moment I booked to the moment I left everything was wonderful. The staff were friendly, kind and attentive to detail. The food was excellent at every meal. The rooms were beautiful and spotless and attended to every day. Christmas with them was wonderful. So glad I went. I didn't want to leave. All this, and then add on the spectacular scenery. Heaven!

Great inn. Super polite manager. Showed us to our room and even asked if he could help with our luggage. Great little bar with both guests and locals.

Pricing was on the high side but this is a very small town with limited places to stay. It’s located within an hour of Isle of Skye so it could be understandable. Overall a great place.

What a truely wonderful place to stay! We shared a room with my dad and what a spacious room! Bathroom also a very decent size. Beautiful room! Very comfy beds! Food in the restaurant was very tasty. Friendly personnel allover! Breakfast in buffet style also very well done. Freshly served hot food, fruit, etc. When we are ever back in Plockton, there is no doubt at all where we would stay! One thing: we did not get an extra set of towels for my dad, but as it was only the one night this was not a problem at all and we could have asked of course. We were not inconvenienced at all by this, it is just a head's up!

Location, Room and devour in original Plockton Inn is lovely. Food in restaurant was very good.

Disappointingly, breakfast was not in the Plockton Inn’s lovely restaurant, which we ate in the previous night, but in the Haven Inn next door with a tour group that wasn’t staying in the Plockton Inn. This change of location, and the poor quality of the breakfast, spoilt an otherwise lovely stay. If this is a temporary arrangement then the price for the Plockton Inn should be reduced for this period; if permanent, then that would be a crying shame.

Staff excellent - location - comfort of room

Food quality - very expensive. A sea food restaurant has more seafood choices then here

The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond to make our stay at Christmas a memorable one. Big compliments to the chef-the Christmas dinner was delish. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Great location to explore tye Highlands and Wester Ross. We will be back one day.

Could really find fault apart from the pillows being a bit on the firm side for us and some adjustments to the level access shower as discussed with the manager. Not suitable for a person with a wheelchair as not enough turning space.

It is located in a very pittoresque village by the sea, close to the Isle of Skye with plenty of spots to visit and Eilean Donan Castle. The direct surroundings are also very nice to trek and walk from the village. The rooms and beds are comfortable, and amenities are well provided . It is very quiet, ideal for a serene, peaceful and energy refueling stay. Staff are very kind and always ready to help. They prepared breakfast bag for us as we were leaving in the early morning. We had dinner twice, Food at the hotel is very good…. Well done to the cooks (and we are French😉).Great stay although a bit pricey… but realistically it would have been the same, or more anywhere in the area in July.

An unexpected early morning call as the fire alarm went off unexpectedly in the early morning of our first night, otherwise everything was perfect.

Accommodation in the historic building across the road from the Inn was perfect for us as we travelled with our two dogs, being February we had the six room building to ourselves. We were greeted by a staff member who could not have been more pleasant, showing us the room and facilities etc. We took dinner in the bar area as we had our dogs with us, we also had a table laid up for us in the bar for breakfast also. A great night away.

The weather! But seriously, its hard to find fault with the stay, great location, great food and great staff.

Well located to walk to the Pier and amenities. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Loved the town of Plockton. A good alternative to Kyle of Lochalch for a 1 night stay before going over to Skye. Also close to the town of Duirness where you can see Highlsnd Cows at The Croft Cafe.

Room location was quite noisy (near kitchen/dining area). Small room and very expensive. However, the staff were very good and lovely dinner and breakfast. But you had to go out of the Inn to another building two doors down for breakfast. Buffet style but very good.

It was very clean and very comfortable, with a lovely en-suite, good mattress and beautiful decor! Our welcome and all of our interaction with the hotel / bar staff was lovely!

It wasn’t the property that was a niggle, it was the food, which wasn’t cheap, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations. It was the only place in Plockton to stay and eat in January so maybe it wasn’t the usual chef but it wasn’t as good as I thought it would be, unfortunately. That aside, I would definitely stay there again.
