It was near the airport, and that is what I wanted.

I arrived early and they wanted me to charge me half day, without telling me that I just had to wait until 3 pm. Some how the other girl at the front desk listened and told me in spanish that I have to wait 2 hours not to be charged. The other terrible thing was that they didn`t want to accept my credit card, because it doesn't has the name on it. But that is how credit cards are emmited in Mexico now, for security. I showed the application and as I had reserved with the virtual credit card on my phone, I showed the app to the person at the front desk and after discussing for a moment he agreed to accepted in the machine for credit cards. I believe you have to update yourselves because you will receive many mexicans in your hotel as Phoenix is just around the corner of Mexico.

Recently remodeled room was clean.

Limited parking if you arrive late. The ongoing construction uses up several spaces.

Plenty of choice for breakfast. I met 3 staff and they were all professional, helpful, and friendly. Bed very comfortable and room clean and newly renovated. The free shuttle made getting to the hotel easy. I liked that it was a small hotel/motel. No noise from other guests though some plane noise but not enough to prevent sleep. Pool looked inviting. I didn't mind the light industrial area location since it was quiet.

I thought it was strange that there was no handbasin in the bathroom. After using the toilet, you had to open the bathroom door and use the sink in the adjourning area for ironing. I just hoped cleaning staff thoroughly disinfected the bathroom door! The toiletries seemed very poor quality. I had just travelled from the UK, and the hotel there had shampoo/body wash and hand soap in multi use pump bottles which is more environmentally friendly.

I liked a lot the free shuttle service to and from the airport, really convenient and it can be requested even really early in the morning!!! The breakfast was great, the bagels, donuts, muffins... the coffee, the fruit, all better to begin a new day of adventures in the Valley of the Sun. The room was quiet and comfortable. The staff was really helpful and kind. The hotel is around 30 minutes or less by bus to downtown and with bus stops near the hotel!! Highly recommended!

The only big black dot on the white sheet, was that we forgot some items in the room, when we check out, but we didn´t figure about that out till when we had departed and we finished unpacking... We called the hotel and the cleaning staff had not given them anything, so... Please, we have learned the lesson of not forget things... but you should contract more honest employees to stop forgotten items robbers...

Access to the airport and airport shuttle.

It wasn’t clear that the shuttle only went on the top of the hour from the hotel to the airport. (Though it did run from the airport to the hotel every 15 minutes).

I got stuck in Phoenix and booked this last minute. The rooms had a lot of facilities, were clean, had great air con (it was very hot) and was reasonably priced with breakfast included which wasn’t anything fancy but quite adequate. If you need something close to airport highly recommended and included a free shuttle service

Easy to check in. The shuttle driver was great and courteous. He gave good tips. I needed this since I arrived late at the airport — it is very good for travelers.

I forgot this is in a rough prt of town. I can’t see a family arriving late. For people traveling alone it is a great value and for a couple who knows what they are getting into it is a greatvalue. I think people overstate the neighboring lots arebad. I felt safe within the parking lot and I wasn’t going to wander off property on foot. I do not recommend walking in the area late at night —or getting dropped off near and then walking to the hotel

The room was bigger than I expected, everything was clean, the staff was friendly and almost everyone speaks spanish, the pool was warm. The shuttle really takes you from the airport to the hotel door, and it’s completely free, which is very convenient.

There were some rooms that had a big, smelly trash can right outside of them and a person had to request for another room, the breakfast is very plain, it’s only bread, juice, coffee and oatmeal, I would’ve liked to have some fruit and protein. Though it’s near to the airport, if you want to go to malls and restaurants you definitely need to rent a car or take taxis, which can be very expensive.

great value for what you pay for. Breakfast is simple but filling, rooms were really clean and spacious. The water pressure was nice and overall room had everything that you needed. All in all impressed with the value.

Location does seem a little sketchy. I wouldn't walk around at night but inside the hotel itself the grounds are kept okay. You could tell updates had been made recently and construction was going on but never bothered us or got super loud.

This is my 2nd review , both great , but I forgot to mention how great the pool water temperature is.I stayed at four different places and all had pools. Surestay was the only one that I enjoyed. Perfect 🥰 temperature. Thanks, and please keep it warm through November 2nd as I'll be there for the entire weekend and am mainly there to use the pool again. Thanks SO much for keeping it warm for me.

There is nothing I didn't like about Surestay Hotel. I asked if I could use my small charcoal BBQ and thought that he would say no. He let me use it in the pool area. I made sure to leave nothing to show that I had a BBQ. Kept it clean so the next guy would be able to use his small BBQ to. This place is awesome
