This is a new hotel and everything in the large room worked, was clean, and comfortable. Coffee in the lobby 24/7, breakfast in the morning with a variety of food and drinks. They also had an exercise room with dumbells and machines that would satisfy. The location was very close to where I was going and parking on site was easy at no cost.

I asked for a king bedroom not knowing they were all on the Mission St side. The car/bus noise was noticible on a Saturday night. By midnight, the traffic slowed down and was not bad. If you want a room on the back side/non street side, get a double queen room.

hot oatmeal was very good, with cranberries + low fat milk. Building was new, modern decor. Staff very cordial and helpful. Room spacious

Breakfast was simple carbohydrates, with 2 options for protein: eggs, sausage. Lots of breads, waffles, muffins, dry cereal. Yogurt would have been great. Bananas available. Healthier options would be appreciated. Bathrooms lacked magnifying mirror and bathtub. Room service no longer offered on daily basis, unless requested and then it's not full room service. Closet didn't have plastic bag for laundry. Air conditioner/heater wall mounted in room with constant mechanical sound. Bring back the old days.

Great location across the street from hip West Side dining, shops, breweries & cafes. It was immaculately kept with modern decor, and the complimentary breakfast setup was impressive. Close to campus and beach, across the street from the bike path to Wilder Ranch and pet friendly! The staff were welcoming & went above and beyond to help me soothe our dog (who was terrified of the elevator) and the room was nice and spacious. We come to SC a few times a year to visit friends and mountain bike, this will definitely be our go-to stay from now on.

The in-room HVAC was very loud every time the fan cycled. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs

The location and breakfast were fantastic. The food was good, generous. The "dining" room /lounge was spacioue, and beautifully and tastefullly furnished, with light streaming in. Two TV screens discreetly placed; bright and uplifting decor. Nice tables for eating and relaxing, with the most comfortable chairs I have experienced in a hotel. Outstanding, And the 24 /7 hot coffee and tea in the lobby area was wonderful. The staff was amazing. They answered all my queries cheerfull and helpfully (directions, restaurants, pillow, luggage storage..) and were kind and accommodating. A plus! Thank you so much. The room was also spacious, bath fittings clean and beautiful, bed comfortable. The lighting in the room was the only bad feature, about which I will say something below. The room depended too much on light coming in from the one window, not something you can guarantee, not to mention that one had to draw the curtains for privacy, Overhead lighting is greatly needed. Otherwise, fantastic room. I loved the location--short and beautiful walk to West Cliff for ocean views, the boardwalk, etc. short distance to the University as well as downtown, short walk to Safeway and the UPS store and to nice restaurants and cafes. Can't think of a better location.

There is only one feature that I found uncomfortable, but that seems to be true of most hotels. As I said above, I had to work long hours on my laptop in my room. IT WAS too dark in the room most of the time, for lack of overhead lighting, and as an older person I experienced eye strain. I also had discomfort with the desk chair, which was too low and strained my knees and back. I did not have the time to get someone to come and help with raising the chair, but I think they would have helped me, or changed the chair --I simply did not have the time. Please think about this issue in future, this is an otherwise wonderful place. I had a great stay. Thank you so much.

The breakfast was very good! I loved the eggs, now the potatoes could've been cooked a bit more. I did NOT appreciate seeing a "DOG" in the eatery area. The dog was NOT by the food but so close to it, I was uncomfortable!!! the silverware was cheap plastic but overall the food was very good and plentiful.

I was disappointed that the bedroom had no "SHOWER CAP or a magnifying hand held mirror.

I had a very nice time staying here I brought my dog with me as well . My bed was super comfy and checkout was a breeze I will say though when I woke up in the morning and went to brush my teeth the water barely had any pressure and my husband said he tried to flush the toilet but it had no water it was a cold night so we assumed the pipes froze maybe it didn’t bother us though we made do . Will definitely be staying here anytime we’re in town !

Large clean rooms. Helpful, friendly staff. Excellent location. Could walk to Natural Bridges State Park and butterflies. Less than a mile to waterfront. I walked to wharf and lighthouse areas, but short drive if one isn't a walker. Lots of restaurants and breweries and wineries and New Leaf grocery in a few blocks. Free parking. Very good breakfast variety.

newer proprty. rooms very comfortable. great location just a block walk from newer boutique area of breweries, wineries, coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. nice full breakfast and very comfortable and sunny breakfast area for working or hanging out. quick drive up to campus.

we chose a room facing north so it was very quiet. they only had available on that side a very large accessible king room with high ceilings…. so it was harder to keep the room temperature comfortable. imagine the smaller rooms facing south are sunnier and warmer … but likely you might hear more traffic from Mission.

Conveniently located near all Westside area eateries, West Cliff Drive and Natural Bridges. The room was spacious and clean and the facilities were well cared for. The bed was comfy. The staff was super friendly and helpful and there were a wide variety of tasty breakfast options.

It was a little noisy right off Mission, but closing the windows and blinds did a good job of making it quieter for sleep.

Room was great, location was great. Free parking and breakfast are what got me to book here.

The door to the bathroom is a sliding door. Not a lot of privacy or sound blocking with that kind of door. Everyone in the hotel room could hear all the sounds from the bathroom.
