We loved this adorable property! The color, the art and the food were on point. The staff (thanks Olga!) in the office and in the dining room were great. The breakfast was delicious and made hot to order. We were super close to everything we wanted to see and do.

Some small changes would make a huge difference in this great property! The shower head really needs a soak in CLR or vinegar and baking soda. It’s all lime scale covered so the spray isn’t great. Easy fix! The outlet receptacles need to be changed as well. Plugs fall out off the all sockets because they are so loose, so using a phone while charging or curling iron is a bit of a pain.

So charming! A block from trolley stop that took us to the Quarter one way and to the Garden District the other way. Bed was so comfy! Less than half a mile from the WWII Museum. Perfect location! Breakfast was wonderful and staff had great recommendations on everything we asked about. We were sad to have to miss the Saturday night DJ and famous shrimp and grits (we didn’t stay on a Saturday night. There were couples from all over the world staying there. Which says a lot. We’ve travelled a lot in Europe and this place reminded us of the guesthouses we stayed on. 100 times better than any hotel. We love that they are pet friendly even though we left our girl at home with her grandparents. We would stay again if we go back.

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon. It had a nice little courtyard you could sit and relax. The staff was incredibly nice. I forgot a precious item im my room when I left, and Keith (the guy in the office) mailed it back to me. What incredibly kind people they are. The rooms were clean and it had a huge bathroom. They have a cozy dining area they serve breakfast in. We will definitely stay here again.

Lugging my large suitcase up the stairs, but that's on me. I'm a girl who thinks she needs to bring everything, but the kitchen sink with her on vacation.

Very cute guesthouse with a special character located centrally in New Orleans. Free parking, around the corner from the street car stop, but walking to the French Quarter was also possible (appr. 25 minutes). Spacious room with private bathroom and free breakfast. In addition to the regular AC, there was also a heater in the room, which was great, since it got quite cold at night.

We would have liked to have curtains that block out the light from outside. It was a bit bright in the room during the night. Apart from that, everything was great.

Wonderful location, great room, amazing bed, friendly staff, safe neighborhood full of restaurants!

When we were there, the streets near the guesthouse were entirely torn up. This was due to extensive ongoing construction. We had to walk in the street, very close to cars. It felt unsafe at times.

What I love about the property was its historic value. Our guest house was like stepping back into time. The grounds & landscaping, the furniture, the architect here was very authentic. The colors were so rich & classic on the property that words cannot describe it. The experience was just so enjoyable. This experience for us spoke to our soul & spirit.

What we didn’t like about the property was… NOTHING AT ALL… A Perfect, personable, NOLA Getaway! BTW… the breakfast was worth waking up for after a hard night of Partying… (Thaxx Ms. Anne & Keith❤️) L. Diane & Michael Turner

Very nice, colorful place. Really loved the decor. Great inlet and grits for breakfast! A small fountain in the center keeps the yard reasonably cool. Super cute towels ;)

There were too many windows in my room without blinds so in the morning there was too much light as well as a lamp just outside of my room at night. No elevator (not a problem for me) but if you’re old might be hard going up the stairs.

We had a lovely stay at this charming Creole-style hotel in the Garden District. The location is fantastic—just one block from the streetcar—and the area felt safe and inviting. The hotel has a quaint, historic vibe, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was quite good as well.

The air conditioning was quite loud, had to turn it off during the night and while it seemed clean I noticed a couple of stained sheets

Loooooove the decor sooo much of the room we stayed in, Mansion Room 2! True New Orleans decor. Don't expect your room to be modern, if you want a regular hotel I don't recommend this, but if you're like me and appreciate the original architecture and decor you can find in New Orleans, than this is it! Loved that the room only had one big window. My husband and I love our room really dark, especially at night and I dont know if I would've like any other room. Also, even though they do have a pretty loud a/c, it worked as white noise for me, which helped me go to sleep. They have a parking lot, so that was awesome! All in all, a great experience. It was our first time not staying in a regular hotel and I dont regret it.

The breakfast was good, and they also provide water. I know this it's really nothing, but sometimes when I wanted to get water from the filter they had, it would say it ran out. Now sure how it works, but like I said not a big issue. All we have to do is buy water elsewhere.
