The hostel's location is fairly good, it's in the Old Quarter and is within easy walking distance of many restaurants and cafes. There was some sort of Christmas market one street north of the hostel when I was there in early December, but I don't know how long it normally runs for. I also liked that the dorm room had a small balcony, allowing fresh air into the room.

As usual for budget places, there was no lift so you do need to take your luggage up a few flights of stairs (worth knowing if you have mobility issues). The dorm room was a little squishy, as the corridor between the beds was not very wide. However, the beds themselves were fine.

Since I arrived they made me feel very comfortable!! The staff was excellent, I left my 20 kg suitcase at the hostel and continued touring different places in Vietnam with a very small backpack, the facilities were very clean, the location was perfect, I thank the staff who made the trip easier for me with my suitcase!! I hope to return soon greetings

The budget hostel is perfectly located in the old part of town (it was still surprisingly quiet in terms of traffic, etc.). Everything is easily accessible on foot. The rooms are quite basic, but everything you need is available (including a small closet for locking valuables). Also of particular note is the tireless help and advice from Lisa, the owner, and the receptionist. If you have any questions about Hanoi, Vietnam, or anything else, she is on hand with help and advice.

In fact, there isn't really anything to complain about. As far as possible, they try to ensure that our guests have a good stay.

The host here is absolutely amazing. She is so kind and attentive; a very helpful host. She was patient with me when I needed to grab more cash to pay for my stay and even helped arrange a private car (nice!) for me to the airport. The shared dorm room is adequately priced and it was never too warm at night as each bed has its own fan. The location is great as well.

Second stay at ecogreen. Hostel. Manager is great! Seamless organisation and very caring. Recommend for 1-3 night stay to look around Hanoi. Bubbly manager will help you with any buses, grab rides, Sims etc. All for an honest price and with a smile on her face.

The hostel is clean and peaceful, and it’s located in a good location. This was value for money. The staff was helpful and I was able to exchange money at the reception.

The staff was helpful and friendly, the bed quite soft (for asia, so still firm). Had a really good sleep here. Also the location is perfect. Walking distance from the lake, trainstreet and beerstreet.

Room looked a bit old and was cramped due to too many things put in a not too big space.

Location is good but I didn't stay in the hostel I booked, they moved me to another one because the aircon wasn't working. This jade hostel was nice, staff is so kind but beds are so hard, wifi is good.

everything about the place was great ! the location was near to all the major attractions. Atm , restaurant, everything was available nearby . The rooms were clean , as per the price it’s value for money . Lucy our host , was very welcoming and nice . she helped us with the halong bay trip which was amazing!!! It’s recommended. Ac was working fine . Bathroom clean ! I liked everything about the place , will go there again :))

I stayed for 3 nights at the Eco Green in a private room with a balcony over looking the street! The value for the room and the location in the old town were spot on! Ms. Lisa was my favorite as she greeted me everyday with a warm smile and made sure my room and stay was awesome!! I recommend staying here for the value and location!!
