The pool was nice although all of the umbrellas didn't work and there wasn't much shade. The rooms were comfortable. We had a king size bed and a pull out couch. Breakfast was good, waffles, coffee, eggs, etc.

Parking was expensive

There was not enough food or places to sit for breakfast. There was a huge influx of people the night before and the staff couldn't keep up with the food demand. We had to stand around and wait for food and then take it back to our room in order to have a place to sit down and eat. I never like having to pay for parking at a hotel. It would be good to have some voucher system so that you can park a car with each room reservation. It's kind of deceiving to have a certain rate for a room and then find out you have to pay $40ish per night for your car.

The staff were very kind and helpful. The facility was clean and wonderful. It was close to everything that we wanted to do. We were able to park our car and walk to everything.

Breakfast was good, great location nearby the River Walk and nice staff.

There are not free parking, almost 33 USD per day is a lot. Hotel has so many parking lots behind their gate, charging for parking generates additional money for them.

Staff was decently friendly. Room was pleasant and clean. AC was nice and cool! Much appreciated!! Was very close to the riverwalk sites and activities, but still easy to hop back on to the interstate to get to Lackland for the graduation ceremonies, which is what we were in town for.

I didn’t like the surprise $32/night parking. With no other options to park. The front desk lady was kinda snippy when she said “well it was listed when you booked”. I went back to check, and it’s worded as “$30/night plus tax private parking available” which I thought was optional fancy valet parking, not park in the front of the hotel lot in open parking next to the street. So that was unpleasant surprise after a 13 hour drive to get there. Should have just included it upfront in the room rate above, as that would likely have changed my mind about where I was going to stay. I also didn’t like paying the $32/night for “private parking” to be approached by homeless people in early morning as I’m trying to get into my vehicle.

I loved the property has a secured fence for parking and no one could get into the lot without a guest card. The location was absolutely perfect for walking distance down to the river walk. It’s an 8 min walk to the river and just a 5 min walk to the shops at the river. I definitely would stay here again! The front desk was very nice and helpful with everything. I would have to say that I absolutely LOVE the breakfast here! So many options and very very good ❤️. We will definitely be back to stay.

The bed wasn’t the most comfortable. It could use an egg crate or just a new mattress. We stayed on the 4th floor.

Location was great, walking distance to most attractions and entertainment. Guests and staff were friendly. The beds and pillows were very comfy.

I did not like having to pay $30 to park on the lot especially for each day that we stayed and it was not conveyed to us in that manner so that took us by total surprise once we received our bill. The food was not that great and the fruit did not have any flavor. In our room, (123), you had to hold the handle down until the toilet totally flushed everything down, I forgot to address that to the staff.

The property was updated from what I could tell. They actually had USB ports in the room and not just one they had both sides of the bed at the lights had them on each side of the TV entertainment center dresser thing had them on each side which is awesome. A nice touch was a real nightlight in the bathroom for those of us who are older and have to go in the middle of the night. It’s great to not have to turn on a bright light and wake yourself up, and I have to give a special shout out to Rosanna, who not only was just pleasant, but gave me information on activities and things to do and see and some history on some of those things.

Apparently, and I didn’t really pay attention when I was brought by Uber but I guess there’s a roadway nearby where people can drive pretty fast and river up their cars and I could hear it in the middle of the night which wasn’t so great

We left an air bnb because we felt unsafe so our nerves were bad, soon as we walked in Elexis at the front desk took all the frustration and anger we had away! She greet us with a big smile and laughs which is what we needed and pointed us into the right direction with food. The older lady that was working with her from Myrtle beach can’t remember her name but she was sweet as can be! They made our night better!

Very clean hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were large, beds comfortable, bathroom reasonable. Location was as stated, about 800 meters from the River Walk, which is fine despite the 107 degree summer weather!

I would skip the hot breakfast, eggs were powdered eggs, sausage was, urg... long line for the two waffle machines, and some cereal. (Coffee on the other hand was GOOD!) Go to the river walk for breakfast! If you want the pool, it is maybe 4 meters by 5 meters... tiny. If you want to park your car within the gates, cost is 30 dollars per night. The only thing I hope they could improve is the noise the AC makes in the room, as well as insulate the windows a bit better. We had a room facing the freeway... noisy. Otherwise, perfectly good hotel.

We really enjoyed out stay at the Hampton Inn the staff was so inviting. It was exact type of get away my wife and I needed. From live music to so many close restaurants. Very Nice. Also close to the Mall and riverwalk access is blocks away, great excuse to take a walk. We parked our car at the hotel on Friday and did not need to drive anywhere till leaving on Sunday. The secure gated parking a plus. Very secure. The pool was very clean and was a great refresher after walking all day seeing the sights. Plenty of space around the pool to lounge around.
