We stayed 4 nights in the family unit which was very spacious and has everything you need with a full cooker, microwave, fridge and everything to cook with. The bed was very comfortable. The apartments are right in the Rainforest with lovely gardens adjacent to them which makes such a lovely setting. We were lucky and saw the cassowary making his trip through the garden. The apartment is very well located to explore the Daintree Rainforest. Thank you Marie for all your help and advice on where to go and for a lovely stay

We arrived really late as we had to take a huge detour due to a closed road. The lady checking us in gave us excellent directions and advice, and stayed up to greet us and show us around. We decided to stay an extra night and she offered us another room (smaller than the one we booked) but she would not charge us for it. She is really the sweetest host. The resort is wonderful and quiet, and you're in the middle of the rainforest, just stunning. Short drive to Cape Tribulation and cafes and restaurants.

This is a very special location especially for those keen on their rainforest and its wildlife. Clearly the daily visit by the Cassowaries is a highlight. We also enjoyed the Sunbirds, Wompoo's and Rifle Birds. A great location to explore the Daintree particularly while wanting to cater for ourselves.

Although internet is promoted as available it is poorly set up and so effectively useless. This compounds the very limited mobile access in the area.

The host really was the best! She told us all about the local cassowary that was popping by daily to snack on the fruits (unfortunately we weren't at the accommodation at the times it passed by). The lodge is in the middle of the rainforest making this a unique experience.

The accommodation is somewhat dated and may not be for people looking for pure luxury. Upgrades are underway!

The owner was very friendly, telling us about places to eat and what to see in the surrounding area. The location is amazing right in the rainforest. If you're lucky you might encounter a cassowary on the property. We were the only ones staying on the day so we had the whole garden for ourselves to explore. If you don't want to go out to eat you can also use the BBQ on the veranda, which is what we did. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice and quiet stay in nature.

Amazing location and a very friendly host. You are immersed in the rainforest; We spotted cassowary and his chick in the early morning. They are frequent visitors there as there are quite some plumtrees in the garden. The room is very clean and no bugs inside :)

No airconditioning in the room as the facility is off-grid, but there is a fan.

Marie introduced us well with the property and any nearby attractions. The room locates in the bush which give us an amazing experience living in a tropics rainforest. The room is nice and tidy with basics kitchenwares and condiments. We kindly like to come back for a next visit. Thanks.

We should have been staying for couple more nights.

Had a excellent stay here, host was very welcoming & offered knowledge about the area & animals. Large modest self contained unit, clean & comfortable. Beautiful gardens, with a resident cassowary. No phone reception but wifi available. Short drive to the walks, beaches & attractions.

Fantastic location in the heart of the Daintree. Very generous host who gave us all the information we needed to get around. The property is frequented by a local cassowary and chick! Cassowary Plums everywhere. Went to local pub to watch Ashes broadcast - no TV in room.

Bathroom sink has a tilt and would over flow - but this was a minor inconvenience.

Great tranquil location with beautiful surroundings. Marie was very helpful trying to make sure we have adequate wi fi connection. She even offered one of the rooms in her private residence for us to get a stable connection for a virtual meeting. Anything you need Marie was happy to try to provide as much as she could. There are a few Baby Qs' for guests to use if you feel like flame grills. Wi-fi as well as phone coverage is fairly limited in the entire region and nothing to do with this place, just something to be expected but can't be helped at this stage. Being in the rainforest there are insects around so do bring your insect repellent.

For the rate I did expect a bit more but I guess everything is getting dearer..
