I loved the nice, specious, comfortable high ceiling superior king room with large window overlooking the mountains on both sides of the hotel. Room was vcery clean and had everything in good working order. Even the windows curtains were working smoothly. Heat pump was quiet and setup to maintain minimum temperature to prevent freezing in case if you completely turned off. Pretty rare in today's world. Bravo!

I didn't like that the information about the unfinished Wildwood Nordic Spa facilities which is still in a beginning stages of construction. Very uncleared. Also the hotel of this level deserved much better restaurant with more enjoyable dinning experience.

I like that the check in and check out process are very swift and easy. The staff are friendly and accommodating especially when they helped with surprising our son with a birthday cake and candle. My sons loved the design and vibe of the hotel lobby, hallways and our room.

Maybe I was expecting that there will be a buffet breakfast because our family loves this. Nevertheless, the grab and go breakfast made it easier for us to prepare for check out. It could have been better as well if the room is a little bit bigger so my kids have more space to play around.

The first impression of the hotel is very warm, welcoming, clean, and comfortable. It’s close enough to downtown that you can easily walk there, but you’re not in the middle of all the busy streets. The view around the hotel is amazing. When you walk in the lobby there’s a huge fireplace that creates such a comforting atmosphere. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. I had mentioned beforehand how we were celebrating a birthday and an anniversary and they took the effort to decorate the room which was so nice! I really liked the online check-in & check-out system, hassle-free. Our room was amazing. It was spacious, clean, comfortable and had great views. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was super nice. There’s a big tv in the room that worked seamlessly with chromecast, a nice coffee machine & kettle, and a mini fridge. It was quiet, and we could not hear our neighbouring guests. The restaurant, Rhythm & Howl, has a very creative menu with great food. We had dinner here for two nights and it was amazing. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and we would definitely come back!

There is nothing we didn’t like. But it would be nice if the restaurant would offer a sit-down breakfast apart from the grab&go. That would really elevate the whole experience. It wasn’t a problem for us, as we went downtown Canmore for breakfast (Rocky Mountain Bagel Company) which is absolutely amazing!

New facilities, great restaurant, nice fireplace downstairs and boardgames.

The view and price, without a kitchen and laundry inside, aren't balanced. Across the highway are fully furnished apartments for the same price or less with better views and all amenities. Couldn't get Netflix to work without having to upload an app I didn't want. Noise from the highway too loud. Light bulb at the desk was cold white while the rest were the proper warm white. Restaurant is great but pricey; and there should be a continental breakfast. Small hot tub outdoors but I'm more upset by the nature they're tearing down to create the "spa/pool." Canmore must stay in nature and it's already getting way more visitors than nature can handle. If your company is covering the cost and you're here for just a couple of days: do it. If you're here longer, consider other options.

Although the Spa is under construction, I was happy to learn that there is a hot tub available. When we were there however, the jets were not working, but it was nice to have a moment to relax in spite of it. The room is beautiful. We didn't have much of a view but it was a quiet, nice place. It is feasible to walk downtown, it takes about 20 min.

For the price that you pay, you would expect to have a microwave in the room, which is not the case. You can however ask the front office to hear your meal for you, and you can ask for a plate/utensils from the restaurant.

This is the third time we've chosen MTN House for our stay in Canmore and I don't think we will choose to stay anywhere else now. The room sizes, ameneties (proper tea kettle as well as the coffee machine) and hotel facilities are perfect for us. This last stay was as a couple (giant Deluxe King room) so we got to make full use of the restaurant and bar which were great. Previous visits we've had the kids and the dog in tow and the pet friendly rooms are just as wonderful and the kids love the foyer area with the fireplace and comfy couches. I have no doubt we will be back again soon. A great hotel. Can't wait for the new spa facilities in 2025/26!

Exceptional Hotel! From the moment we walked into the hotel, with the beautiful cozy open fire crackling & the wonderful, welcoming reception staff we knew we had chosen our stay wisely. If you are looking at the reviews, please stop & just book this wonderful hotel! It is basically a brand new hotel - very thoughtfully decorated - with amazing staff service which far exceeded many top tear hotels that I have stayed at. The hotel is in a nice quiet location and offers plenty of free parking for guests. The room was very clean - again, this is a fairly new hotel - very comfortable quiet room with black out drapes, very comfy bed & pillows - lovely locally made, environmentally friendly soaps, shampoo & body wash. For the reviewer who questioned being charged for the soap - that is only if you take the remainder of the full sized foam handsoap & full sized moisturizer bottles provided for your use & there at the hotel, & there is a sign advising you of this. Soaps are great though & we did go to the store in town to purchase some to take home!! Unfortunately, we didn't have time to try out the restaurant food, only the drinks. Again, service was great! Would highly recommend this hotel & will definitely be our 1st choice of hotel to stay at in future when visiting Banff National Park area!

Pros -beds are very comfortable -rooms smartly laid out -rooms are very updated -beautiful large entrance with nice places to sit around a cozy fire -overall environment is really tasteful and nice

Cons -It is dog friendly, but there were two dogs in rooms across from one another that barked at each passer-by in the hallway CONSTANTLY. It was not pleasant at all to be in a room near them. Staff tried to deal with it, but there's only so much you can do -Not great breakfast options -Maybe a bit pricey

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel! The accomodations are amazing as well as the location. At check in, the hotel clerk helped us plan our trip to Lake Moraine for the next morning. I had not made plans for the trip prior to arriving and she took care of everything. All of our bartenders were great. On our last night, we enjoyed sitting in the bar and chatting with the bartenders and bar manager. I am excited about the future spa being added to the hotel! I want to return when it’s completed.

Amazing property. Clean and modern. Everything seemed to be new or like new. Amazing theme style of room. Awesome and friendly personnel at reception and restaurant❤️🤗☀️ The vibe there is incredible❤️ Thank you, guys❤️☀️

The only thing I would say did make my stay harder is the VERY LOUD AC in the room that kept turning on and off all night long. I wish I had earplugs with me for sure for that reason as well as the walls are very thin and you can hear other people in hallway and in their room.
