We were in Casa la Fe for 4 days at the end of October and we can say it is nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled in the heart of historic Cartagena, its prime location means you'll never need transportation within the historic city center—everything you could want to see or explore is just a short, delightful stroll away. From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed, the service and hospitality were impeccable. Every member of the team—William, Dennis, Samuel, Arledys, Aris, Sebastian, and others—went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Always ready with a warm greeting and a smile, they made us feel genuinely welcome at every turn. Whether it was offering tailored recommendations, answering questions, assisting with luggage, or fulfilling any request, they delivered with kindness and efficiency. The ambiance of Casa la Fe is a harmonious blend of charm and tranquility. Immaculately clean and beautifully maintained, it offers a peaceful escape despite being in the lively city center. Inside, it’s remarkably quiet—you’re blissfully shielded from the bustling sounds of the streets. Breakfast was an absolute highlight: a delicious spread featuring rich coffee, freshly squeezed juices, seasonal fruits, and a selection of menu items to suit every palate. Every detail is thoughtfully curated to make you feel at home. If you're seeking a quaint yet sophisticated hotel with unparalleled service, Casa la Fe is your destination. We left with hearts full of gratitude and can’t wait to return.

The biggest highlight was the staff. They treated us like family and made the entire trip great. From the moment we arrived William, at the from desk, went above and beyond to take care of us from recommendations for lunch to telling us all about Colombia. The hotel is beautiful. The internal patio with its water fountain and green wall is very peaceful. We stayed in a big room for three people and it was spacious and comfortable. The morning breakfast is phenomenal. They have a menu of 5+ dishes where you can choose from. Dina went above and beyond to make breakfast a wonderful experience. Her daily special juices made fresh from local fruits were fantastic. The rooftop bar and pool were beautiful. Aris made some great drinks for us and his company was a plus. The location is great. We walked everywhere and the hotel was always in the center. We highly recommend Casa La Fe.

Stairs. If you cannot climb 4 flights of stairs, you won’t make it to the rooftop.

Very pretty architecture and all of the employees were top notch. Our room was tight, but very well thought out—making good use of the space. The breakfast is not great, but Dina was a sweetheart and offered prompt service. The location is wonderful, and our room overlooked the plaza which was full of life. Fortunately, the windows to the balcony have three layers to block out sounds. We slept well. I highly recommend Mistura Cartagena just a few doors down for a nice meal and live music. Also: have your shield up because the street vendors are aggressive.

Nothing to critique about the property.

I have been staying at Casa La Fe for nearly 20 years. It had been a while (6 years at least) since the last time I went to Cartagena. When the staff saw me they greeted me! They remembered me clearly to the point some of them took pictures with me (I would like to get a copy of the pictures, by the way). Staff was great as usual. Location is unbeatable. The Fernandez Madrid Park still has special touch that makes it different from other not-so-nice parks in the historic part of town.

The restaurants nearby are fine but service could be better. Of course, this has nothing to do with Casa La Fe, but I say it because when one goes to a boutique hotel there are plenty of factors that can impact one's stay. Just some feedback so they can tell their neighbors to up their game.

The property is centrally located, we were able to reach everything with a short walk. The atmosphere of the hotel is very cozy, we liked the style. The breakfast was delicious. The staff is very friendly and thanks to William especially, he helped us with recommendations for activities and he helped us to exchange some money with good rates.

The air conditioning was facing our bed and it was not possible to set it in a way that the air would not come to our bed which was a bit uncomfortable.

Everything was Perfect, I loved it there. With the much love equipped and decorated. My room with a balcony was perfect for the afternoon tea or coffee (great coffee machine in the room) and people watching on the street. Bathroom had a nice cosmetic mirror - not always to find in other hotels. The staff is soo friendly. Especially Dina - she serves the daily breakfast:-)) but as well everyone else - Muchas Gracias per todos

What a gem! Location could not be better but sleeping rooms are quiet due to orientation on the courtyard (I recommend second floor or higher due to breakfast service. Staff was so helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable. Rooftop is a sweet oasis and the greenery throughout is soothing. I was delayed two days and staff communication was excellent during that time. The filtered water faucets on each floor is genius. I only had breakfast once but the avocado toast was amazing! I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Excellent location, beautiful interior - like walking into a little oasis as you enter the courtyard with lush plants growing up the wall. Comfortable rooms, good ac. Friendly and patient staff - very helpful in arranging transportation (long car rides to Tayrona and Minca -for 2 different groups) - even on Christmas Day! Breakfast was also excellent - really enjoyed the lite/healthy options.

Everything was great. Travelers should be aware pool is not very big but we were not there for the pool, great to sit and relax for a bit but not for swimming.

This was our first trip to Cartagena and we were a little anxious about the room since we usually stay at Marriott properties. We traveled with our teenage kids. Dennis greeted us at the door and made us feel welcome, comfortable and safe right away. We stayed on the third floor family room with a balcony. The loft area had two twin beds for the kids. The room was immaculate! The loft area stayed on the warmer side being elevated but the kids managed. The room was very small though we expected that. Be prepared - it's tiny for a family. Our bed was firm and comfortable - we slept well. The balcony was great. There was lots to see down below. Be aware the streets come alive around 7PM and stay loud until at least 10PM. The rooms are not soundproofed at all. If you go to bed early, this might not be the room for you. We had a little monkey come visit us on the balcony which really made our trip special. The breakfast is AMAZING! They take breakfast very seriously. The courtyard that breakfast is served on is beautiful and the food was fresh and delicious. The pool was just big enough to dip in to cool down. We had drinks on the rooftop a couple times. The view is nice and it was peaceful compared to the other rooftops we could see full of crowds of people. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this to anyone! Clean, friendly, great location. We just loved it!

We are not accustomed to Cartagena heat and could never really get the temp down during the day to what kept us cool. Except for nighttime when I was freezing because the AC was as low as it could go to try and keep the loft area from burning up. I think a fan in the loft area would make big difference.

The hotel is very well located near some of the best restaurants in the walled city (where nothing is very far away). The rooms are on the smaller side, but with very modern amenities and everything worked very well. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was excellent, always ready with a suggestion or a helping hand. When we travel to Cartagena we don't spend a lot of time in the hotel, but out walking and exploring, and this hotel is perfect for that.

The pool is small, but that is common in the older houses turned hotels in Cartagena. It still works as a place to cool off from the heat of the city.
