This hotel proved to be an excellent choice for our stay. The service was consistently outstanding, and we particularly want to commend Katja for her exceptional assistance. She was incredibly helpful and friendly, providing us with valuable recommendations for sightseeing, dining, and navigating the city. Her insights into the local history and culture were a welcome bonus. The hotel's location in the heart of the old town is ideal, allowing easy access to major attractions. Housed within 4th-century walls, the building itself is quite remarkable. Our room was tastefully decorated and offered a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to others seeking a charming and historical base for their travels. The combination of its unique character, prime location, and attentive staff make it a true standout.

There is absolutely nothing not to like about the property.

The location is perfect within the old town. The room was clean and comfortable and retained the character of the old buildings. It is within a very short walking distance of the main attractions and many restaurants. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I was only there for one night and had to leave early before breakfast but they provided a breakfast bag to take with me without asking for this. This was much appreciated. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Split and would make sure to stay longer next time to fully enjoy this hotel.

Nothing. Only thing to note for anyone with limited mobility is that the location is within the pedestrianised area of the old town where vehicles can't access.

This was one of the best hotel experiences my wife and I have ever had and we’ve travelled to many places around the world. The rooms were very nice, clean and included a piece of history in the stone walls inside the rooms, which was all excellent. But, the biggest factor in our experience was the staff. They were all Incredibly helpful, genuine, kind people available 24/7 to ensure we saw what was most interesting about Split, ate the best food in the area and had a smooth travel experience. We traveled in April, where they offered a discounted rate for our stay and there were also much fewer tourists. 10/10 would reccomend and hope to be back.

Location was premium. It was in the center of old town = palace. Could easily walk everywhere. The breakfast was wonderful with many options and eggs or waffles to order. Customer service was excellent = the best of all the places we stayed on our 2 week trip! Very accommodating and informative about the city and history of the hotel. We had a person meet us to help with our baggage upon arrival at the port and also help us get to our taxi when we left as the center is pedestrian only. Very pleased with our stay! :-)

Location excellent. Perfect for exploring the city. Amazing restaurants and sights just steps away. Just stunning. Receptionists incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Could not fault.

Breakfast was great. The area it is served in is a little cramped. Ideally they would organise some sort of deal with the restaurant just outside the hotel so you could eat breakfast outside. This is the ONLY thing they could improved an otherwise amazing stay. Would highly recommend.

The breakfast was absolutely great! Local specialties fresh from the oven, homemade, a large variety! The staff was unexpected lovely and helpful. The owner herself is involved with her heart what makes this experience very familiar. The room on the upper floor with the garden terrace is superb.

The good location inside the Diocletian Palace is a great experience but for this we had to accept a few minor inconveniences. Of course the hotel cannot reduce the lively noise of chatting restaurant guests in the court until late in the night and cannot offer parking spaces just next the building. They are though very helpful with carrying the luggage from a private car parking quite nearby.

Murum Boutique Rooms is a small, upscale accommodation facility located in the heart of Split, Croatia. It is situated within the historic Diocletian's Palace, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. I recently stayed at Murum Boutique Rooms and had a truly exceptional experience. The property is ideally located in the heart of Split, within the historic Diocletian's Palace, offering easy access to popular tourist attractions and a variety of restaurants and shopping. The boutique rooms are a perfect blend of modern amenities and historical charm. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed. One of the highlights of our stay was the outstanding service provided by the reception staff, especially the lady who attended to us. She went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was enjoyable and hassle-free, always ready to assist us with anything we needed. Another great benefit was the availability of free parking for our car (obviously outside the walls). The hotel staff even sent someone to collect us and our luggage upon arrival, making the check-in process seamless and convenient. Overall, I highly recommend Murum Boutique Rooms for anyone looking to stay in a central, comfortable and stylish accommodation in Split, with exceptional service and attention to detail.

Th location in the old town was perfect. The room (#7) was on the top floor and there is an elevator or stairs, depending on how energetic you feel. One of the staff met us at the free parking place (!) near the old town and carried our luggage to the hotel. The staff was wonderful, so warm and welcoming and full of good suggestions for places to eat and visit. The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast offerings were plentiful and delicious. Highly recommend this hotel!!

First of all, the location was superb, it couldn't possibly be any better. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, too. The design of the room, its furnishings, exposing the old stone walls, and indeed of the renovated hotel as a whole was very thoughtful and sensitively done, given the history of the building and its location. We altogether just loved staying here.

The canopy over the bed made the room seem a bit smaller. Also one of the windows looked directly into a window across the narrow street, so it wasn't very private (had to keep that curtain closed, but OTOH, there were windows on three sides of the room, so it was okay).

A wonderful hotel. The building and our room were lovely. Exceptionally comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The breakfast was great with almost too much choice. The location at the heart of Diocletian’s Palace meant we could wander round the sites at our ease. But the best of the experience was the staff who could not have been nicer or more helpful taking a genuine interest in our well being. We hope to stay again and are encouraging other family members to visit.
