Every staff member greeted me when I walked in. The valet workers were very nice and informative on other areas to park if I did not want to do valet. He helped me with my bags and directed me to the lobby so I didn't get lost or confused since it was on another floor. The lady that checked me in was extremely nice and made me feel comfortable which was huge because I was alone in a city and a completely new country. I got room service and they were so nice and accommodating. The room was fantastic and the bed was like a cloud. Ladies the bathroom lighting is amazing. I usually have to pull out my makeup mirror to do my makeup in hotels but I didn't have to use it!

The hotel is obviously in the middle of the city which reminded me a little of downtown LA... but nothing to complain about in terms on the hotel.

The location was amazing, food was great, bed was really comfortable!

What I didn’t appreciate was the staff contacting me hours after I left to try and charge me for something I did not use from the mini bar. When I stated I had photo that I took right before I walked out door to check out and I can forward it to them with the time stamps showing they decided to waiver it. More so it was something we didn’t drink on a regular basis and secondly they were charging us 5.00 which wasn’t even the cost of the item. And when we asked why the five dollars on top of how can you say that they never responded. So as much as the stay was good this put a damper on it and gas made me question if I want to stay here in future. It’s a good thing I document everything. Never in my entire hotel staying life have I not paid for what I have used.

Parking is hell (get to another building, then find your way from the huge garage with 6 levels back to the hotel somehow through the SkyCity maze). Get valet service or don't bother coming by car if you want to relax. When you enter what you think is the correct garage (all signs point to it), you ring and are already asked if you want to park yourself or need valet service. At that early point I didn't know what kind of hassle that would be and said I'd park myself...

The most relaxing and quiet hotel. Super beautiful room and they upgraded me so I had a lovely view of the harbour. Yummy buffet breakfast was worth the $. Didn’t pay for any other extras like minibar etc but loved the Nespresso machine in the room. I was having a solo staycation for a night off from my life and this was the perfect place to do it. Will happily come back soon. PS the room has bathrobes! Couldn’t find this info anywhere prior so putting it here in case it’s helpful to others.

Wish the movies were free! Wasn’t tempted by the options for room service even though I would happily order in dinner (minor things)

Room was very new, and was spacious and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is centrally located near the main shopping streets, and is linked indoors by a bridge to the main SkyCity complex. There are also several late night eateries nearby. The room had several interesting coffee table books related to New Zealand.

The hotel lacks a dropoff point, probably due to all the construction work outside. While there was a short-term parking lot, it was occupied by a construction vehicle when we were there. It was also a bit confusing to find our way there by car, and we had to circle the block and ask for directions before figuring it out.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, everything was aesthetically gorgeous and super clean! We booked two seperate rooms for our whanau, the accessible king and twin room, both were spacious and comfortable. The staff were lovely!

We had one issue with sound, my parents and brother were in the twin room, which I booked for them as a gift. Unfortunately they were kept up until 7am by the neighbouring room, who were partying etc through the night. I flagged this with the front desk in the morning, as my whanau didn’t want to make a fuss in the night, however I don’t know that the situation was quite understood.

The staff at the hotel were exceptionally welcoming and professional. From the moment we arrived, they made sure all our needs were met with a friendly and helpful attitude. Their prompt responses and attention to detail truly enhanced our stay, making us feel comfortable and well taken care of

I had to park in the public parking at SkyCity, which was quite far from the hotel, although valet service was available. Additionally, the rooms we were assigned on the lower floor had a very limited view, which was completely obstructed. This was not mentioned in the advertisements, nor was it reflected in the photos shown online.

The hotel is as what a hotel should be, the staff were welcoming and friendly and helpful. Close walking distance to hop on hop off bus and restaurants and convenience store. It was my mil birthday and we had some drinks- the bartender went out of his way to create a special mock tail for the kids and even though they didn’t have any cake when we asked—- he suddenly conjured up a slice of cake for my mil! Very sweet indeed ! They even gave us free parking for the period of our stay, which was a pleasant surprise and a good start to our holiday.

It was our 25th anniversary, and they had arranged a gift pack, which was very nice. The room was quiet and comfortable. The bar in the lobby has some great cocktails. Staff were great. Plus Free parking and you are surrounded by top restaurants

If you walk across the 4th Floor bridge to the hotel it is confusing to try and take the right elevator. There is a sign above your head. But we missed it, and another couple showed us the correct one. Half an hour later we had to show another couple the right one. A very clear, simple sign will fix this as three customers missed it.

From the time I entered the reception of the Hotel, everything was exceptional. The staff were well trained, very friendly and extremely helpful. The facilities are world class and the location excellent. I didn't dine at the restaurant but I had several coffees and I raved about them to my partner. Soooo good to get that quality of coffee form a hotel. The rooms were beautiful. Very classy, new and clean. 5-Star ***** experience.

The only down side was the parking. You have to park in Sky City, if you don't take the valet parking option, which makes it a little difficult if you have allot of luggage, as we did, because we were attending a conference. However, only a small disruption.
