The location, size of the room, and price were great.

We arrived slightly before 3 PM when I thought it was the check-in time. A rude receptionist told us that we had to wait until 4 PM, and we were told it was our correct check-in time. We sat on the sofa right next to the receptionist. Other people started arriving at 5 past 3 PM and were getting checked in. We stood up in the line (several people were checking in now) and complained to the second receptionist who arrived to help that first one why everyone was getting checked in when we were told by the other receptionist that we had to wait 'til 4 PM. She told me she would speak to that first receptionist. She also checked us in at that moment. Besides this initial incident, everyone else there was friendly and helpful. And that first receptionist learned to smile.

We had a great time at the aloft! The rooms were clean and had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. The hotel staff were VERY helpful and kind especially Ashma and Valiesha! The baggage storage came in very handy before checkin and after checkout so we could explore while we waited without being weighted down. We didn't use the gym or bar but both looked nice and the downstairs pantry was useful. The location is good too, close to the financial district but also good pizza and the subway obviously gives easy access to everywhere.

The location is excellent, right by the Fulton Street subway station that has many lines. The WTC and Brooklyn Bridge are a short walk away. The room was clean (and cleaned/tidied daily) and all right. We got a mini-fridge on request that the staff just brought up and put in a corner.

New York is outrageously expensive; in any other city, I would expect this room to be half the price it was in NYC. The room was all right, but nothing spacious. The view from the rooms at the back of the hotel is pretty ugly :-).

Perfect location for us! Our son lives nearby and we were able to easily connect with him each day after his work. And- while he was at work- we were able to easily connect (by subway) to the rest of the city from a 5-minute walk! Great amenities nearby as well- nice restaurants, bars, 2 nearby pharmacies, a doc-in-the-box, etc.

Room was not consistently prepared each night. It was cleaned and towels were left, but sometimes we didn't receive coffee- or coffee cups- or sweetener- or glasses for water, etc. Just a little more attention to detail would have made this stay perfect! Other than that, we loved the staff friendliness, location, etc.

The rooms were very noisy, I had to listen to my neighbours having sex.

The staff was phenomenal. They were very helpful and friendly. We mentioned in passing that it was my birthday, and when we came back after dinner there were balloons and a note from the desk wishing me a happy birthday! The location was nice, it was quiet (compared to times square area) and close to the subway.

It was difficult to find at first, the entrance is down an alley where there is construction. A clearer sign at the construction entrance would have been helpful. The bar wasn't open which was a disappointment. It also would have been nice to have a dresser or some type of drawers from storage other than a desk.

The lady at the desk was super helpful. Zeinab I believe was her name. Finding the hotel was a bit hard at first with construction but Zeinab helped guide me over the phone. Afterwards it was easy to find cause you’d just look for the blocked off road. It was easy to get up and down from our room and they were good about cleaning the room when we were gone.

It took an hour to check in because I had missed a flight and showed up the next day. There was complications in the computer system saying I was already checked in even though I had not arrived yet. Also the hotel needed a security deposit on top of the security deposit I made through booking.com which I have not gotten mine back from booking.com yet.

Staff was really friendly with great way of hospitality, very supportive. Our room was ready , took no time to check in. location was great, less than 5 min to Metro station, all facilities are near by the hotel. First day the heater wasn't working good, changed the room for us very fast.

Breakfast will be great if included.

It’s a very good hotel. The room was large enough for NY standards. The best thing was the staff. Super kind and friendly. Welcoming you every time you entered during your stay. The adjustable temperature was great, water pressure in the shower was excellent and the amenities were very good. Fulton station is literally around the corner.

There was a weed/marihuana smell on the 11th floor but the staff took care of that. The restaurant consisted of snacks in the lobby. I didn’t care but that was the situation I encountered. The financial district isn’t located near most tourist attractions.

Hotel location close to subway, tourist attractions, proximity to Brooklyn and many restaurants. Zeinab at reception is very professional, very pleasant, smiling and helpful. A member of staff like I have rarely seen, very appreciable.

The configuration of the bathroom with a sliding door instead of a real door. The street under construction (not the hotel's fault), but unpleasant nonetheless, with all the rubbish piled up right at the entrance to the alley for several days.
