Excellent property, rooms are good size and updated, and staff is very helpful and friendly. While location may not be the highest traffic area for traditional tourist areas, this worked perfect for us. Blocks from ferry terminal and subway and very close to the seaport. We used to live in NY so this was a great find and suited us well. Very fairly priced, especially for NYC Valet parking was also done well.

The aesthetic of the whole hotel - the design is soooo good. The lobby smell. The welcome drink and free nespresso coffee. The restaurant and their options. The shower gels/lotion. I loved this hotel and will be back!

Lobby coffee machine was out of service but it was fixed the same day. Other than that, no complaints.

Large room with good facilities.

I had breakfast included but was not given voughers on arrival or explained that I would need them when ordering. Breakfast was supposed to be available from 7.30am which was fine as I had an 8am meeting BUT it didn't give enough time once I had been to reception to collect a voucher that I should have been given on arrival. The catering team weren't set up for the 7.30am start and as such I had a cold breakfast instead of my preferred hot one. No decaf coffee available through the catering team but I was able to access this through the free coffee in the lobby.

The hotel is the perfect location for Seaport attractions and financial district. and close to subway. The room we choose was a King Deluxe and we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and loved the style as well. Furnishings are beautiful. The bed was comfy but pillows could have offered at least one firm option (luckily I brought one of my own). Breakfast was served at Hotel restaurant, Felice, and it was exceptional. It was very nice to have breakfast before going out for the day.

One small thing. The hotel fragrance smells amazing but as someone who is allergic to fragrances and perfumes it was a little overwhelming.

The staff was amazing! Super engaging, friendly, and courteous. Delilah and Rob were both so awesome. I had an issue with my credit card initially. I was stressing out because I grabbed an expired credit card, and my new card was left at home. Eventually, we got it sorted, but they were very kind and empathetic, which during a very stressful time was welcomed. They handled the situation very professionally but also were very personable. The location was great. The guys at the door were always courteous and friendly, ready to answer question and provide suggestions.

Nothing - all very good

Very nice hotel in the Financial centre. Easy to reach by subway station Fulton St. The premium deluxe king room is worth the money (room with very high ceilings, gives a feeling of space, air). The lobby is very nice with free coffee and tea between 6.30 and 11 am. The staff at the desk are very friendly and helpful. The cleaning is thorough and the cleaning ladies do a very good job. Fully recommend this hotel!

As it is in the financial disctrict there is always some noise from outside. The double glazed windows dont keep the streetnoise from airco´s completely out, but it is not very annoying (just a monotonous rushing sound which i got used to quickly). the gym is a bit very mini mini. Space also does not allow for more machines.

This hotel is a gem. It is one of the most cozy hotels I have ever stayed in. The customer service provided by the staff is great and it provides a great escape from the craziness of NYC. Every time you walk in to the hotel, you are greeted with a unique scent that welcomes you back. It is quiet and tucked away from the rest of the city which allows for a great night of rest.

The lack of privacy in how the bathroom is designed within the room is unfortunate. This is not an issue if you are staying alone, but if you are with someone it is a real issue.

The hotel was really nice. It had a comfy bed, nice bar / restaurant, and was conveniently placed for the financial district / downtown Manhattan. Overall the hotel exceeded my expectations.

They don't have irons and boards, only steamers, and there are no tea / coffee making facilities in the room (there is free coffee in the mornings via a machine in the lobby). I think this only became an inconvenience because I stayed for 6 nights though.

The staff was welcoming (also comedic) and extremely helpful. Anytime we needed extra towels they brought them almost immediately. There is espresso coffee in the lobby in the mornings and prosecco in the evenings. The restaurant had an excellent breakfast. The location is great because it is in the middle of the financial district and really close to the Fulton stop which will take you almost anywhere by metro. The interior of the hotel is the typical, dark, masculine, modern you would expect from a Thompson hotel.

The front entry is pretty weathered so when you get out of the taxi it is a little worrisome until you walk inside and see the nice, modern interior.
