Nice clean room, good size on the room and also on the bed. Perfect cleaning. Nice personell also supporting on taxi booking. felt welcome!

Breakfast and coffee should have been incuded in the pricew in such a good hotel standard. At least cofee available in the reception area. We asked but got a negative reply. In the correspondance prior to arriving we expected this included as a "grab and go",

The location, customer service and the room. The hotel is in the heart of Times Square and walking distance to Central Park, 5th Avenue, Broadway, Empire State Building and Rockerfella Centre and many other tourist attractions. Check in was really smooth and the lady who checked me in, think her name is Allison was very kind and polite. Another lady helped me during my stay and I believe her name is Joanne. Allison and Joanne provided the best customer service I experienced in New a York during my two week stay. The porters was very helpful too. I stayed in 3 hotels in Times Square, to name them, Hilton Times Square, Double Tree Hilton and The Mantahhan. The Mahattan by far the best hotel and the cheapest. I stayed in a newly renovated room on a higher floor. The room was bit more expensive than the cheapest rooms available but worth every penny. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

very very very old hotel with broken mattresses . literally you can sleep in these. I think mattresses are 25-35 years old . room is old with damaged wall paper .

it is in a really good location. I didn’t have a view because I was on the 5th floor but I didn’t mind because I was out for the most part. It was quiet and I had a good night sleep. It was also very clean and the staff was friendly and ready to help you!

The location is awesome! Once checked in you don't need to worry about taxi or Uber fares until you are ready to check out. I could walk to everything that I needed. I even went to the Rocketts Christmas Show at Radio City Music Hall.

My heater and the telephone in the first instance on check in, was not working in the room but Maintenance was sent quickly to the room and that was sorted. Then the picture on my TV started blurring and loosing signal. Maintenance came promptly again but it was not the TV. It was an issue with the cable in the wall. Because It was so cold and I wanted to watch the Rockefeller Christmas Tree lighting, front desk changed my room immediately. So I was well taken care of and very pleased.

We came for overnight stay from RI. We arrived at 1 pm and were exhausted and sweaty. Mohammed checked us in and after requesting and early check in not only did he accommodate us but also gave us a free upgrade. Our room was nice and clean and comfy. All personal were kind and helpful. We decided to stay another day and when I went to the front desk at 10 am they updated our reservation with no problem we didn't even have to change rooms. The many reviews I read were horrible saying it was run down full off bugs especially infested with bed bugs. I never seen as much as one fly. The only negative thing I have to say about The Manhattan is that we had to leave.

There was no ice in any machines but the consierge got us a bucket with no problem.

Location excellent . Decor in the Rooms a little tired. Could do with a face lift but clean . Would have preferred a shower as opposed to shower over a bath . But I will definitely go back soon . Can’t wait . Staff excellent so helpful. Taxi s outside so nice . Breakfast available in reception area was perfect to keep you going or get you started . Suited us perfectly.and the staff serving were very nice . All in all I’ve recommended it to friends travelling to NY in the future

I would like a shower separate from bath in the bathroom . Just easier to get into . ( not that old yet but cautious when I’m travelling!!!!) Otherwise all good

The staff was outstanding on every level. The location and property in general were excellent. I found the condition of the hotel a little "tired" and in need of updates. I was informed by a staff member that a remodeling of the property is planned for next year. Everything else being the same, I look forward to seeing this property after the remodeling.

Really, nothing, other than the tired look, which I understand is going to be improved. Specifically, worn out carpets, cracked tiles in the bathroom, loose knobs, etc. All cosmetic and easily remedied.

It is a nice, clean, comfortable hotel.

I was charged twice. Staff very rigid and were not willing to assist and solve the problem. I was at the place while reserving the hotel though I reserved the hotel after 4pm. I used my name to reserved the hotel but used my credit credit card to pay. I did not have my physical ID. When I came in person, I was trying to solve the issue. I asked if I can switch it to my husband's name,since he has his ID. Did not help at all. I was charged twice when I was already there.
