I like the hotel, it is small, a bit old-ish, but nice. The room was clean, and cleaning personnel was good. The reception team was very nice and hospitable. Breakfast was also quite nice. The hotel is close to the metro station. Very cool elevators.

I did not like the location of parking, the parking itself is good, not big, but quiet safe for a car, closed perimetr, video controlled area. The reception team supports parking. Hovewer, the location is very frustrating. You need to park a car and then walk, just 1.5 blocks to enter the hotel, and you will do that through the dark and dirty place, with homeless people... It is not an issue of the hotel. This is, in general, issue of the city, main streets with light and ok-ish, but small streets look not safe, dirty, homeless, drunk people, drugs...

Good Breakfast, free parking, enough restaurants around, close to the city center and metro line.

NO mosquito nets......and unfortunately many mosquitos on that area.

The room was spotless clean, it had great sound isolation, the bed and the pillows were comfy, the wi-fi was also good. All the staff were very helpful and nice, the breakfast was very good, with few varieties. The best thing probably was the free safe parking of the hotel, since this is not the safest part of the city, and parking spaces are also scarce, so this was a great thing to have a space, and not think about your car being damaged or robbed. The good thing about the location is, it's near proximity to almost every important tourist location in the city, so if you don't mind a bit of walking, you can see everything by foot. All in all, the price and the facilities and service, and the proximity to everything are awesome.

This is not directly connected with the hotel, but someone may find it useful. This part of the city, is a bit unsafe, so if you stay here, and decide to visit everything by foot as we did, avoid the small streets after dark, keep moving only where it's crowded and well lit.

My stay was satisfactory. The hotel was clean but dated. The room was small but had plenty of space for one person. The bathroom was small but clean. Breakfast was standard continental fare - I will say the sweet items were exceptional. Very close to the metro. Room was fairly quiet except for the neighbours on occassion but that is beyond the hotel's control. The lifts were very small - not good if you are claustrophobic.

The area isn't the most appealing. I had no negative interactions thankfully but I can see how it might be off-putting to families or even younger solo females. Overall the stay was fine - not amazing but not terrible. I'm very much of the basic traveller mind-set - a clean bed and a shower and I'm happy.

Staff in the hotel is extremely polite and helpful. I stayed in family room and it is quite suitable for four adults. The room was cleaned everyday and new towels were served. The hotel offers small private parking for car which is safe and has video monitoring. It is located behind the hotel.

If you walk from Omonia square to the hotel, small streets near the hotel are not very safe during the evening hours, try to avoid those streets and stick to the main street to reach the hotel. Small streets are dark and full of junkies. Rather walk, better use metro or taxi.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Katerina. From the first “welcome” to the last “goodbye” the staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and plentiful, and my room was very comfortable. It was also cleaned and prepared to a high standard every day. The secure parking was good and easy to use. There are good restaurants five to seven minutes walk from the hotel, and the tourist areas are within a 15 minute walk. Taxis can be called by the reception.

Nothing much! True, the lifts are very small but they are functional.

Everything was very clean, and the breakfast was ok. The staff at the reception desk were very nice and helpful. Very close to the metro station, and easy to get to the hotel. It is ok for a short stay in Athens.

The room was very very small, I booked a single room, but the bed occupied 85% of the room. There was no space to move around. Also, the furniture above the bed is placed too low so you can easily hit your head. I stayed only one night, so it was ok, but if there were to stay for more days, it wouls have been a bit complicated due to the small size of the room.

Hotel Katerina is outstanding. Exceeded our expectations. We've got a free upgrade to junior suite which was really great. The room was squeaky clean,  comfortable beds and freshly ironed sheets. The breakfast was very tasty. The safe hotel parking is extra helpful for the area. Pretty good walking distance to the centre. The staff was really polite and informative. They provided extra care and attention.  We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is centrally located, clean, quiet, the staff is courteous and welcomes any questions, requests or needs The accommodation was in two rooms connected by an arch door, breakfast was varied, tasty and satisfying Reception staff guided and directed each day on an excellent map given to us how to arrive and how to return Every day we got to return to a room clean of wonderful smell and in the fridge bottles of cold water

The Hotel is in a very good location! Metro 100m. It was a kind receptionist and quick check-in. Huge balcony on the 7th floor, with a wonderful view on the 7th floor. Big room, comfortable bed. Daily cleaning, full cleanliness in the hotel. Our room was spacious."The breakfast was delicious and many variations were available for the four days. The price-value ratio is impeccable. I will return to the Kateria Hotel.

. The woman working in the kitchen was unfortunately very unfriendly every morning. It was clear that she really is bored by the work she has to do. One morning we asked for a small spoon for our coffee which she put in the holder with an offended face. Breakfast is beginning at 7 am. Because of our flight back, were went to breakfast at 7 am. The lady seemed offended by this, she continously made comments which we could hear. She slammed the kitchen door every time she used it. A very unfriendly behaviour throughout. Which is very sad
