The staff at Blue Moon went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed. Even helping us with our two toddlers when they could see we were struggling. The rooms were clean and everything was comfortable. The pools were good too. We had a few issues with the fan and air conditioner but staff helped straight away. Very quiet away from the centre of town.

The family room didn’t have much space for putting luggage. It’s not right in the centre in town so expect to rent a bike to travel around. It’s not a criticism just something to keep in mind.

Good location just outside of Amed on a hill above Selang Beach Friendly & helpful staff where nothing was too much hassle Room was rustic & comfortable. Bathroom was private but semi open so you could look at the moon while showering Complimentary bottles of water everyday Bed was very comfortable with netting + a plug in mozzie repellent Breakfast was pretty good Rented a large scooter for idr150000 (Aud15) Organized driver - Korna - who was absolutely awesome & very fairly priced. Not only did he drive us where & when we wanted, but he had a boat so did a snorkeling trip with him as well - coral garden, underwater temple & Japanese shipwreck. Next day he took us to the water palace & heavens gate temple He took us to Ubud with stops to check out local markets, water palace, weaving / silver + gold jewelry & wood carving villages all hand made by locals. Definitely recommend Blue Moon.

Not much, was a bit more rustic than expected but there was enough room & ended up being very comfortable & relaxed.

The property was beautiful- we loved the semi-private pool that was luckily private for our stay as the other two villas didn’t use it. The food was really good at the restaurant and the staff were very accommodating when we wanted to eat at the restaurant or in our room.

The pool wasn’t very clean. We saw the pool staff come in and scoop surface stuff, but the bottom of the pool was quite dirty. We had no coffee in our room, even when we left the jar out for cleaning staff and also no teaspoons to be able to make coffee or tea in the room, it would be great if there was a small container of milk and spoons and coffee to make hot drinks when we woke up and before the kitchen was open. There was no hand soap in the bathrooms for washing hands which would have been great to have had. We luckily brought our own soap so broke it into two for the two rooms we had paid for.

It's hard to fault this place. It's really lovely. We stayed in the 'Paradise Penthouse'. Quite a few steps, but the view more than made up for it. And it gave me an excuse to eat more! The staff were so endearing and bent over backwards to be helpful. The pool nearest our room was small but beautiful. We loved our room and the balcony and that view! We would wake in the early morning to see Rinjani, about 70km as the crow flies across Lombok, in relief against the rising sun. It was as spiritual as I could get! The restaurant food was 5 star and very well priced. We ate the freshest fish at every meal, and watched the fishermen bringing their catches back at the start of every day.

Nothing not to like! I got a bit unlucky, getting some insect bites, but my husband didn't get bitten at all so I guess I'm just tasty!

After a 3 hr drive we arrived at Blue Moon Villas around Midnight, Made our way into the room I booked being the Family room. A little underwhelmed as the photos i seen online didn't even compare. Was very small for a family of 4 adults. Next morning at Breakfast I politely spoke with the Manager and she was extremely helpful and offered to show me the other available rooms on the water. OMG I was blown away. We couldnt get a family room bot we got 2 separate villas 1 being the penthouse and they were just perfect. The views were next level. Infinity pool looking over the ocean was a lovely place to spend Xmas 2023. Highly recommend but encourage to book on the beach side of the road for the real Amed Experience. We were able to hire scooters and explore as we love to do when in Bali,

The villa, terrace and pool area were all beautiful with lovely comfortable furniture and the view was outstanding. The gardens were also gorgeous and very well tended. We loved the restaurant, the included breakfast was great and other menu choices were fabulous. Everything we were looking for for a lovely relaxing stay. The staff and the drivers booked through the accommodation were all brilliant.

Blue Moon Villas over the ocean and are exceptionally beautiful in every way. Traditional Balinese features are all around the beautiful colours of the gardens. The pool overlooks the ocean and the views are amazing. Inside the ocean view villa (Angel 3) the beauty of old Bali is a true rejuvenating experience, with a very comfortable canopy netted bed. The restaurant attached, Komang John serves delicious organic East Bali dishes with the best Dragon Fruit Margarita’s the best! Highly recommend. 5 stars.

Blue Angel Villas were perfect, perched on the cliff top overlooking the azure Bali sea with Lombok in the distance. Incredible sunrises every morning with Praha’s returning to shore with the catch of the day. Sharing the perfect infinity pool overlooking the ocean with 2 adjoining villas is great. One feels very special in the private Angel villas, with the Balinese/Mediterranean architecture & styling.

The restaurant was good but could be better 😊

Staying at the Blue Moon was a dream come true. From the food, to the location, to the pool, the view, and the gorgeous room with the friendly staff, there is literally nothing I could complain about. It blew my mind! I recommend that you spend a little extra money and stay in one of the villas with the oceanfront view. You cannot go wrong!

The fact that I had to leave to go home!

The villas are beautiful with stunning ocean views! We really enjoyed the pool, the excellent food in their restaurant and the very friendly staff.

The villa wasn’t as clean as we expected it to be, there were stains in the linens plus stains of dead insects on the walls in the room. Also the mosquito net surrounding the bed had stains of insects and dark spots that looked like mold on the upper part facing the ceiling.
