We had an amazing time and have nothing negative to say! The staff are incredibly friendly, the rooms are clean, cozy, and well-equipped with air conditioning, drinking water, and a fridge. The food is fantastic! The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options, including plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices. Dinner was just as good. The dive instructors, in particular, are amazing. I always felt very safe and had lots of fun! I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be coming back! :)

I cannot speak highly enough of this resort. The location is great, the rooms are clean, comfortable, generously sized and great value for money. The restaurant on site is great and the spa is absolutely a must visit for an amazing massage. All of the staff are friendly and extremely helpful with any questions and requests. I came here for a diving trip to complete AOW certification and could not have been happier. The dive team were amazing. Highly professional and knowledgeable and just great fun to be diving with. The equipment available is top quality and the dive sites in the area are also excellent and suitable for any levels. Definitely a location that is on my return trip list.

My room at Absolute Scuba was beautifully clean and comfortable with good aircon, a drinking water dispenser and a lovely balcony. The location directly opposite the beach was perfect for me, close to the ferry terminal and a short walk to shops for necessities. All staff I interacted with were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Masih, in reception, was an absolute delight to chat with. While I'm not yet a scuba diver I am a keen snorkeller and thoroughly enjoyed the morning out on the boat, snorkelling with the most beautiful fish, a gorgeous turtle and stunning coral. Highly recommend Absolute Scuba and will definitely stay again.

The only thing I didn't like was leaving!

Micheal and his staff provided customer service that was above and beyond expectations! The rooms are pefectly set up for what every diver or water sports enthusiasts wants - ie, lots of space to hang wet things and lay dry things out, lots of smartly spaced electrical outlets for charging, desk space for working or assesmbling gear, hot water shower and kettle in room for warming up after a day in the water, massage servicesm and an on-site restaurant that is open late. The location is only a minute or so from the ferry port and right on the beach from where all the diving an snorkelling boats depart from each day, so it is super convenient and well located. I was on business and am already dive certified, but they also offer dive certifucation lessons here and I have 100% confidence from what I have seen as a longtime diver that Micheal and his crew are top-notch! Having stayed there twice in one month (and with a friend who booked there 3 times), Absolute Scuba is the ONLY place I would consider staying in Padang Bai! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Absolute Diving Resort that exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the impeccable cleanliness and the efficient management of the property. The resort staff went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt comfortable and safe. The attention to detail in maintaining the cleanliness of the rooms, common areas, and facilities was truly remarkable. It was evident that they took pride in providing a pristine environment for their guests. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional diving experience offered by the hotel. The diving instructors were not only experienced but also passionate about their craft. They provided thorough instructions, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of every diver. The equipment provided was top-notch, well-maintained, and in excellent condition. It truly enhanced the overall diving experience. Another delightful surprise was the resorts wood-fired pizzas. The pizzas themselves were simply amazing, with a perfect balance of flavors and a crispy thin crust. It was evident that the resorts culinary team put great care and attention into crafting these culinary delights. Overall, my stay at this resort was nothing short of fantastic. The cleanliness, management, diving experience, and wood-fired pizzas all contributed to a memorable and enjoyable stay. The owners and the staff were very helpful and friendly. They booked our crossing to Lombok and back from Gilis, which really helped us out. A delicious breakfast, including freshly made pancakes, and tasty dinner. The pool, with swim up bar, was very refreshing but could do with more loungers around it. Pool towels were provided on request. Our room had a balcony with seaview, chairs and clothes dryer; as well as a huge mineral water dispenser.The bathroom was tired and in need of a refurbishment, that is why I have lowered my rating as everything else was great. Great location, across the road from the sea, a couple of minutes walk from the ferry port and surrounded by bars/restaurants/shops. There were laundries nearby. The hotel has a spa and offers diving, but we didn't use those facilities.

This is an amazing property. The rooms are super clean, the breakfast is amazing and a supremely amazing swimming pool/ pool bar exists. My room had a balcony - I think all rooms here have one, and I could see the full moon 🌕 while listening to the sweet sounds of water from the ground floor. They have water containers inside the room - better than plastic bottle usage. It is a PADI certified resort - and they have excellent trainers, because of whom I was able to complete my first open water diver certification with a breeze. I highly recommend and I would like to return for more advanced diving and chilling… ❤️

Location was great for getting the boat to gili islands. We were unsure which of the many boats to take to gili and their team gave us their expert recommendations which ensured we didnt get ripped off and had a comfortable trip with our 2 little children. Super reassuring given our nerves after reading about taxi mafia and the like in padangbai. To top off they had woodfire pizza so made our overnight stay very comfortable. Also love that they have big water dispensers to reduce the amount of plastic bottles being bought for water. Breakfast was satisfactory though a no frill no fuss event.

Breakfast was excellent - made to order eggs, toast, fresh fruit, cereal, Indonesian noodles, orange juice, coffee and tea. The property is beautifully landscaped and includes a well laid out pool area, restaurant, and covered lounge. It is associated with the Absolute Dive shop so it’s easy to arrange scuba and snorkelling trips. ie a private 3 hour snorkel with 2 stops included water and fresh fruit and lunch. The staff was friendly and helpful — thank you. The rooms are basic but had everything we needed including a fridge, balcony overlooking the garden, large private bathroom. And the best thing was the large potable/drinking water dispenser in the room! Great initiative to reduce plastic waste. And on that subject, I was appalled at the plastic garbage in the water and on the beach. It would be wonderful if the local communities worked together to clean things up.

We choose this location because it fitted best in our travel shedule. For our trip to Gili Trawangan we needed a stay close by the harbour. We, a family with 3 teenagers, my cousin and his girl. On request they arranged for 100.000 rupiah a shuttlebus, 1:45 hours drive, due to the busy traffic from the airport of Bali. At arrival we felt immediately welcom. The hotel has a familiar vibe, books in different languages were spread true the complex. excellent food. Not.only the Indonesian cuisine but also chicken filled taco's, onion rings, spaghetti and pizza. The price quality was very good. The rooms were not big, for us it was big enough. It had no tv, but we didnt miss it. Beds were good. There was a safe in the room and there was free WiFi. In the shower there was soap and shampoo available. They also hand out bigger towels to burrow for free, if you want to go to the beach or lay on one of the sunbeds. Our room had a little balcony. We also had our own watertank, fridge and the airco worked very good, it has his own timer. Every room had a reck to put your clothing to dry. They also have.a laundry service against reasonable price. Across our stay there was the harbor, very nice. You could walk up the road a 10 minutes hill up road towards a coral beach with sand. Also a Temple was there, which you could visit. About 30 minutes walk there was a bigger White sand beach. The hotel also had a massage facility against reasonable price, example back and shoulders 30 minutes for 95.000 rph, full body of 90 minutes for 250.000 rupiah. The breakfast was.lovely indonesian, toast, fresh made banana or bacon pancakes, scrambled eggs, sunny side.up eggs, fruit, Orange Juice. The staff was so kind and friendly. They also arranged our booking for the fast boat to Gili and they really took their time to have a chat with you. It also has a little Pool which is attached to the cocktail bar. It is refreshing but also used to give a course in diving.
