The location. Their restaurant serves up great brekkies and their lunch and dinner menu offered up a nice selection of cuisines and tasted great too.

The room I was given was not too far from the entrance and just a short walk from the lobby. When sitting in the room's balcony, there's no privacy as the staff went about their daily routine and hotel guests would pass by too. I could have asked for a change of room but being in Bali during the high season, I knew their were fully booked out. I too hear the conversations from both the staff and guests when I'm in my room. All in all, I had a great stay and would request for a room at the back after the pool.

Friendly welcoming staff. Beautiful gardens little squirrels and birds, not many insects in room. Decent size rooms, AC worked well. Regularly cleaned rooms and grounds. Good coffee and food. Pool has an unmanned swim up bar, we got bottles and set ourselves up. Great sun exposure poolside and to rooms. Short walk to beach, flea market and many great restaurants. Bit of a gym and breakfast bar. Pretty quiet considering location. For the money can't knock it. Excellent value

Some of the towels had some stains and some linen had a slight damp smell. Shower didn't fall to drain properly and could be recaulked, had slight smell from sitting water. Pillows too thick for my personal preference but all in all no real complaints.

I love this place. It’s very clean. The pool is a decent size and clean. There was always plenty of loungers. It’s a short walk to the W hotel where you can renter the beach for a lovely sunset beach walk. It’s about a 10min walk to potato head beach club. About a 20 minute walk to kudeta beach club. The pain au chocolates in the almost next door at the patisserie in kanvaz village are the best pain au chocolates ever and I’ve eaten them in France. The gourmet cafe out the front of the hotel offers lots of tasty local and western food at affordable prices. The hotel itself is incredibly affordable. The rooms are a big size and cleaned regularly. I recommended this hotel to friends who visited me while I was there and they also loved it. The staff are super friendly and helpful too. Oh it’s also a short walk away the fabulously new iron fairies bar. Check it out. It’s also amazing there.

The property has beautiful gardens which are well maintained and our room was an upstairs& downstairs villa with lots of space. We paid the extra for included breakfast option. The breakfast was freshly prepared daily. I got the Indonesian option most days, Fried rice & egg, fruit plate and tea. Really worth while.

In our villa the downstairs bathroom smelled of damp & the downstairs bedroom windows wouldn’t lock. We didn’t use this bathroom and moved the mattress upstairs. We still had tons of room.

The staff were very friendly and the location is central to attractions in the area.

Good size pool and mostly unoccupied which is surprising considering the size of the grounds with many rooms available. Walking through has lush gardens that are well looked after and Koi fish in a pond. The apartment was huge and they accommodated with a baby cot for our 7 month old which was comfortable (not hard like others) free water and friendly staff. Great location and Cafe onsite

Was a little confusing upon atrival to find the reception as there is a lovely cafe in front of it. It's probably a little dated and needs some work

Clean and peaceful. Close to all lot of cafes, restaurants and bars so very happy there was not any noise. Very nice staff, helped me with the luggage. The pool area was super nice and the gym better than expected. Good value for money.

No soap in bathroom, tried to ask the cleaners but they did not understand. A little room for maintenance (old houses). Some dumbbells with rust, should be changed.

Location is the best. Nothing can beat the location compare the price. Shishi & the iron fairies just 2mins walk. Thumbs up to the staffs especially Desi, she the best. I didn’t used the pool, but it’s look clean and well maintained.

I understand that place is old building. Most furniture is old but i have no complaints with that. (For the price i paid). But i hope bathroom can be clean better. Please brush the floor especially drain area.

The Taman Ayu definitely exceeded our expections. The family room (which it turned out, was not a room at all, but an apartment!) was clean, huge, and very comfortable. The staff cleans it everyday without fail. The location was right in the middle of Seminyak with all the bars and clubs, but surprisingly, when we enter the premises of Taman Ayu, we don't hear any noise at all. We loved the breakfast too. Highly recommended!

I was there for the party science,it was a 10/10 as all the best nightclubs are right next store,Shi Shi,Patato Head,Mexicola,sports club it’s right in the middle of all the famous places.It’s only like $1(Aus) for chicken and rice for street food(perfect).7/11 convience store is across the road.U can hire a scooter there,They have a open bar at Shi Shi 9pm-11pm $15-$25,Free cocktails,spirits,beers.All the rest range-$2.50 beer up to $10-$20 a cocktail.VIP is Expensive,They all have reserved tables ranging from $250+. This is the ultimate Party venue,restaurants next door u won’t get better for the price,everywhere else is expensive in that area as it’s prime party central.

No filtered water drinking systems,u only get to small bottles of water,so u need to go the shop and fill the fridge up,which is really annoying as u can not touch any of the Bali water out of the tap as u will get Bali belly. So I rate this place 8/10z
