Excellent location, just off Eyre Square but still quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful - even walking out onto the street with us to to help with directions etc. Rooms, clean comfortable and warm. Lift, great walk in shower in bathroom. Good breakfast included in price.

Parking is in nearby car park (2-3 mins walk) - charged extra. Hotel do have a discounted rate so make sure to pay at hotel. Lift Access to car park only available through the shopping centre when open. Outside of these hours access by stairs only.

Excellent location near enough to walk from the train/bus station. Friendly staff for easy check-in and check-out. Good breakfast choices!

Concern that our luggage bags in room had been opened by housekeeping during our stay We photographed our bags before going out for the day and they we're definitely opened with some chocolates that we purchased for a gift missing. Minor item and nothing else appeared to be missing. Happens from time to time soyou should notify housekeeping that guests often take photos to determine if bags are disturbed.

Location and comfortable bed

Seems to be the hotel for hen parties.. We were there on a Friday night... The breakfast room Saturday morning was overrun by 3 tables and no one tried to calm them down. Drinking beers which is their own discretion but screaming at the top of their voices in their pyjamas and slippers doesn't leave a good taste for breakfast... Couldn't wait to leave.. Not 1 staff member asked them to calm down or even approached them about their behaviour....

Everything about the property was exceptional. The breakfast was amazing . I think the option of having a mini Irish breakfast is particularly helpful as I find a full Irish too big for me and hate to see waste. It was just right. The service and staff in the bar and restaurant was excellent. The location to the local bars and restaurants was perfect. The lift had just broken down when we arrived but our luggage was taken upstairs for us and the lift was back in action before breakfast the next day .

Nothing that I can think of.

Had a lovely stay at the Victoria Hotel, the location was perfect - right beside the centre with easy access to the Christmas markets at the city centre, and also right beside the train station which was handy for us. The room was really nice and cozy, the only thing I will say is the room didn't have a fridge or air conditioning which you would expect at this price. Overall we enjoyed the Victoria Hotel and will be back if we we were the ever visit Galway again.

If you like having a hot Irish breakfast then the breakfast would suit you but there wasn't many "cold" breakfast options, the pastries were nice.

Everything! The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast in the morning was very nice and although we didn’t have lunch or dinner at the hotel it looked lovely. The bar is absolutely brilliant, lovely decor and AMAZING cocktails. Patrick and David who work in the bar are the best craic and an absolute credit to the hotel - really made our stay at the Victoria Hotel. Will definitely be back to stay next time we are in Galway.

Very good location, right in the center of the city and close to everything. The bar/restaurant downstairs is lovely we went and got a drink before we went out I got a porn star martini and it was the nicest one I’ve ever had would definitely recommend.

The doors in all the rooms close automatically and are very loud so every time someone left their room there was a loud bang, also the shower was quite old without a detachable shower hose which isn’t ideal when you have very thick curly hair. In the bar on New Year’s Day in the evening the girl had to go change the keg for my partners beer which of course takes a few minutes and I presume it was the manager that came over to her giving out saying she shouldn’t have left the bar as the other girl had gone to the bathroom. I felt this was quite unfair on the girl as she was just trying to change it fast so we wouldn’t be waiting longer than we needed to. The bar was very quiet and not one person came in/up to the bar when she was gone.

The staff as we entered were fabulous and so friendly. The location was amazing. Extremely clean, very spacious rooms and comfy beds.

The only fault was not been able to get snacks or food at the hotel as we had no previous booking. We didn't think we would needed to book a table for a meal as it was before 6pm and thought we could grab a drink and something small at that time but we're told there was no space. It didn't take from our stay though as there are loads of options near the hotel but it will be something to take into consideration for future bookings.

Very clean and modern hotel.

At the time of our stay a main pipe had burst in Eyre Square, effecting all of the hotels and restaurants/ bars water supply. So for a day and a half we had no access to showers. This was to no fault of the hotels, and they were very accommodating with sending up water to the room for us to brush our teeth etc. Staff did all they could with the resources they had. But other than this could not fault the hotel itself. Very pleasant and modern hotel. Would stay here again.
