Spotlessly clean rooms and bedding. Beds were very comfy and great to have the privacy curtain, individual electric outlets etc. at the bed. Room was warm and cosy - especially with such awful stormy and rainy weather outside. A great idea to have the sink outside the bathroom, so people in our room could brush their teeth / put on make up etc while another person was in the shower and not have to wait. A fabulous free breakfast with lots of choices, and lovely free tea, coffee, fruit always available throughout the day and evening. I requested a lower bunk, and they had a lovely sign left on my bed 'this bunk bed is reserved for Suzanne'

Nothing! It had everything a modern hostel needs for a great stay. The only thing we noticed in our room was - No numbers on the beds - so some people in our room where a little confused as to which bed to choose?

Everything was great, especially the cleanliness and tidiness throughout the hostel. The location was unbeatable—just a 1-minute walk from the centre (Eyre Square). The check-in and check-out process was very easy, and the free luggage storage after check-out was a nice bonus. The included breakfast was very good, the shared toilets were very neat, the beds were comfortable, and the sitting room was cozy and inviting. That said, I believe the prices should be lower given that it’s a hostel where toilets and bedrooms are shared with multiple people. A more affordable rate could attract even more guests and boost their business.

I was in a room for six women, no problem having a shower, getting to sleep as all were respectful of each other. The breakfast for me was the soda bread. I loved it. Lots of bananas too. The hostel is located at the corner of Eyre Square, a two minute walk to the bus station and the shopping centre close by too. There were activities and trips I could have availed of such as the pub crawl, or the tour of Connemara but I had other commitments, next time hopefully.

Honestly I had a really lovely stay, was not sure I would as the price for three nights was under two hundred euros. More than worth every cent.

I liked the healthy included breakfast, staff was polite, available, prepared, everything was clean and having a bathroom en suite was cool. Despite a loud / annoying customer, the staff acted quickly making sure everyone was safe and well, managing the situation elegantly and efficiently.

There are few places to have some downtime and quietness, youngsters tend to be loud, but it’s manageable if you stay by the stairs or by the chair spot at the 2nd floor, and if they included hairdryers in the bathrooms it would be great!

Location is perfect- super close to the train/bus station if you’re coming in from Dublin. It’s also close to the square and the Latin quarter where you’ll most likely spend most of your time. Location is also perfect to access tours as a Galway experiences tour including the cliffs has an office on the ground floor of this hostel. It’s super easy to book an excursion directly at the hostel front desk. These are easily the comfiest beds I’ve ever stayed at in a hostel. I don’t know why because it’s still a metal bunk but the bed and pillow and sheets had me sleeping good! Continental breakfast being included is great. Kitchen and common areas were very clean and easy to organize. all the staff working here are lovely!

Wish the breakfast offered some sort of protein. I loved the scones and spreads but I was really not powered up for the day as I would have liked. Rooms and showers could be cleaner. Room feels quite cramped and it’s hard to get your under bed cage locker out when other people are there. I think this place would benefit from wall lockers instead Not the most social hostel.

This hostel was very welcoming! Staff were all very friendly, willing to help, and offered suggestions/social activities. The 6-mixed room (3 bunks) with ensuite was as described. The breakfast (e.g. porridge, cereal, bread, scones, fruit, tea, coffee) was such a huge bonus, especially right before early-start day trips. The location is central, walking distance from the bus depot and many sights. The staff also held my luggage after check-out, which allowed me to have lunch comfortably before catching my bus!

The ensuite bathrooms could use more shelves and hooks to place personal items and clothing. Other guests I spoke to simply put our items on the toilet seat, which doesn't seem the most sanitary. Also, a bath mat would be helpful for the ensuite bathrooms as the floor gets quite wet.

My stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The entire experience was incredibly well-organized, and every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant visit. I want to give a special thanks to Valeria, the wonderful Italian receptionist, whose warm welcome and helpfulness made me feel right at home. During my stay, I accidentally left one of my earphones in the room. When I called the reception to check if it was found, Amy answered and was exceptionally efficient in assisting with the retrieval and arranging its delivery back to me. Her attentiveness and care were so reassuring. I’d also like to thank Matt and the rest of the team for their outstanding service and dedication. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making this a truly memorable stay. 5 stars, highly deserved – I can’t wait to return

Great hostel, good beds and good showers - the only things I can't compromise on. Discounted parking is a huge plus too

The only criticism is the usb charging points, they have a bright red light when on so if you've had a long day and phone needs charging it was a toss up for me to charge my phone or sleep. Then I remembered I had a power bank in my bag which I used instead. The little led lights up the whole space red. Maybe bring some tape to cover the red LED. I had a similar issue with the green light on an emergency exit sign in another hostel and vowed to add a roll of tape to my travel kit for this purpose to cover them over. The lights are small but in darkness they illuminated the whole room and are not necessary unless you plan on not being able to sleep - I like complete darkness and sleep better that way. There wasn't really anything else to not like.

The lounge/common room was super cosy yet fancy. Spacious and luxurious! There were towels and other necessities available to rent/buy which was amazing. The room itself was cosy with tiny little lights and curtains in each individual bunk bed. You had a sense of privacy even though there are several people in the room. The breakfast was a lovely surprise. There were lots of different types of cereal, bread, scones and fruit. The apples weren’t great as they were a little mushy but the scones were hot, the coffee was decent and there was plenty of yogurt and spreads available. The location is the real prize. 🏆 - Just a heads up: they are not dorm rooms they are private rooms with several beds. You don’t pay per person you pay per room - there is also a €30 deposit per person upon arrival.

Men’s bathrooms could have been cleaner and better kept. The women’s facilities were immaculate but the men’s was a total disaster. The apples for breakfast were all rotten/mushy.

The staff was super nice and helpful. The idea to organise a Pub crawl was both fun and extremely interesting as it enabled you to quickly get in touch with other fellow travellers and make new friends for the duration of your stay. I also absolutely loved the breakfast and the quality of the homemade soda bread. I also loved the fact that there was gluten-free porridge and both oat milk and soya milk made available for those suffering from dairy allergy or intolerance. It was definitely an asset of this accommodation.

First, the showers could have (and should have) been cleaner in my opinion. Secondly, it was boring to be in a room in which the curtains were always drawn shut and in which you could never take your stuff without being extra cautious of the noise you made as there would be people sleeping in there all day long.
