We arrived at 6am in desperate need of coffee. Patricia in the little breakfast nook took pity on us and let us in early. All the staff at this hotel are amazing, beautiful and friendly. We felt like family from the moment we arrived. Special mention to Patricia, I hope the hotel knows how lucky they are to have her. I'm sure she is the reason you have many returning guests. We were able to store our luggage while we went exploring for the day (on a tour Patricia sent us to) while we waited for our room to be ready. The rooms are a great size (we were ground floor towards the back). Laundry room was convenient at the back of the hotel. Fantastic location to use as your base of travel. The metro is a short walk away.

Note that the internal noise of this hotel is loud! Some sort of insulation between the first and second floors and between the rooms needs to be added. It sounded like there were clog dancing elephants in the room above us for a few nights (we had to ask reception tell them how noisy they were as they had kids that would run/stomp/jump the length of the room at random times of night). You could also very much hear entire conversations from the rooms next door. A note on the area, if you don't like the strong smell of weed the moment you leave your hotel then Hollywood is not the area for you.

Location: Hotel was a short walking distance from major tourist attractions. Staff: Extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast: Nice selection of breakfast food, plus all-day coffee. Room: Very clean, bright, and spacious.

Our stay could have been quieter if we had been given an upper-floor room, so we wouldn't hear footsteps. But that's just a minor quibble, and doesn't detract from our otherwise comfortable and restful stay at the Hollywood Celebrity Hotel.

The lady organizing the breakfast was very friendly every day and she remembered our preferences. Great location. Quiet. Family suite was nice.

Room heater was extremely loud, you can not use it during the night.

Great hotel in a great location. The staff are so helpful and friendly. We had a soft spot for Patricia who was doing the breakfasts. Good value for money also

Staff was great. Very friendly. Everything was clean. The location was perfect for our needs. Close to Universal studios, a mall, & good restaurants.

Bathrooms could use updating but room was comfortable. The only issue was the parking lot. It's very small & only 1 way in/out. We literally had to back out of it into traffic during a red light.

The location is good, it’s in a quiet lane right behind Hollywood Walk of Fame and Ovation Mall. The free breakfast was basic but the waffle served by Patricia was really good. She is a friendly and helpful staff at the dining area. There is also washer and dryer available for use with payment, $1.50 for washing detergent, $2 for each wash and dry. Parking is available for $17 per day but the lot is tight however the staff can help with parking if needed.

Encountered 2 front desk staffs in the morning who weren’t friendly or helpful. The room was quite dim more lights would be better. Outside the property has foul urine smell.

We stayed here for two nights following a Pacific Coast Cruise from Vancouver. We were looking for a comfortable hotel near many of LA's attractions. The Hollywood Celebrity Hotel met these criteria and more. Located on a short, quiet street just around the corner from Hollywood Blvd, the hotel is a real gem. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. The building in old, but well maintained. Patricia, who serves up a delicious continental breakfast, deserves special recognition. Her smile and pleasant personality made us feel right at home. Perhaps the greatest asset at the hotel is their driver, Mr. Ifti. He is an absolute gem. He picked us up at the the cruise terminal, took us to the hotel, showed us the highlights of LA for a day and a half, and drove us to the airport on the third day. He was prompt, courteous, and very accommodating. We had booked an all day bus tour of the city prior to discovering Mr. Ifti. After reading the very positive comments on Trip Advisor, we contacted him through the hotel and cancelled our bus tour. It was a great decision. He made us feel at home in this large, sprawling city. We would highly recommend Mr. Ifti for a truly personal LA experience.

Great location for being close to Hollywood boulevard. Hotel was nice and clean. Staff at reception was very nice too. They also have laundry room and you can buy detergents etc from the hotel itself. Room was spacious.

Not a lot of space /seating area for breakfast. You need to wait to have an available table. Breakfast was good but we had to keep it quick as we did not want others to wait for their turn. The lady in charge of breakfast asks you if you would like waffles and then you have to wait 5 minutes until it is done.

It was conveniently located behind Dolby Theatre, with a quick access pathway to get there. It feels like home because the staff treats everyone like family. The room is comfortable and big for our family. Breakfast is prepared by Ms Patricia and you just have to let her know what you want. She is so nice and our son enjoyed the pancakes and bagels prepared by her. There is a coin laundry room which made our stay better as we could do our laundry. Kudos to the team. Will definitely come back ❤️

There are 1-2 homeless people outside the hotel but there is nothing they can do, which we totally understand. They do not disturb us. It was still safe for me to go out with my baby alone.

We stayed in room 105 ground level from 1-5 May. It was very quiet. Lovely and spacious room with two beds, a dining table, fridge and microwave, plus the safety deposit box. Lots of drawers and closet space to put your clothes A special thank you to Patricia, who ensured the breakfast room ran smoothly and her efficiency meant breakfast was served with ease and all food/drinks stayed topped up and didn’t run out. Patricia greeted us every morning with a big smile, very warm and welcoming which was very appreciated. She also gave us some very useful tips on which bus to catch for the farmers market and where to catch it (saved us a fortune in taxi fares as we didn’t have a car). Patricia is a real asset to the hotel and we would like to thank her - she was just great. The hotel is just behind the Dolby theatre and there is a quick access route to Hollywood Boulevard through a garage car park - very convenient. The hotel is also right on the Hollywood/Hyland subway line - which is also very convenient if you don’t have a car, as you can take the subway all the way to Santa Monica beach and also to Universal Studios (which is only one stop away). It’s easy and cheap to use. Forgot to mention you can also do your laundry in the hotel. It felt very safe staying at this hotel as we were aunt/niece.

Nothing to mention - all was great and we would highly recommend this lovely bijou hotel.
