Long story short, I'll plan my next travel according to available dates of De Biffi, to ensure that I'll explore the beautiful city Florence under perfect conditions. We had the incredible experience staying at this hotel in Florence. - The location was perfect, with easy access to all the attractions and landmarks. - The breakfast served at the hotel was exceptional. We were expecting a simple breakfast menu, but it was outstanding. (check the photos!) - The hotel itself was beautiful, with comfortable rooms and a welcoming atmosphere. Very nice balcony that you can feel the city. Starting the day with breakfast on the balcony was a delightful and elegant experience. - Outstanding hospitality provided by Andrea, the host. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything needed and was always available to assist us. Even after we checked out, Andrea continued to offer his support and guidance. We were so impressed with the hotel and Florence that we wanted to extend our stay, but unfortunately, it was fully booked. However, Andrea helped us to find another place to stay, even secured a discounted rate. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The perfect location, exceptional service, and delightful ambiance make it an ideal choice for anyone visiting Florence.
I couldn't name anything I didn't like. However, this is not a issue for us, and it seems that staff are willing to adjust their working hours to accommodate our needs, note that in-hotel reception is not available 24/7, but the staff is exceptionally helpful and responsive to messages and phone calls, which is generally satisfactory for most visitors I believe.

Great location right next to the Duomo. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast. The room itself was very spacious for a family of four. The bathroom was modern. Most of the beds were comfortable.
Breakfast table was a bit cramped for a family of four. There were not enough lights in the room; specifically no small bedside lights, only for the entire room. One of the twin beds was comfortable but very narrow and was placed not alongside a wall, so our child fell from it while sleeping. There is quite a bit of noise from the alleyway under the room when businesses open in the morning (around 7am).

The location was excellent. Really close to everything you need in the city and walkable from the train station. Staff spoke good english. Room was as expected and the shower was nice. I would book this room again.
I thought it was strange for the breakfast, a lady took an order of whatever you wanted and you had it in your room with a small table?? kinda weird because there wasn't any options just whatever came to your head and the cooks english was non-existent. The whole breakfast took awhile and it started at 8 am. I wanted to get the sites early so that the lines were short. I would recomend just making a menu or pre make basic food options and starting earlier. Also the pillows were flat so that was annoying as well.

We just had such a great stay at B&B De Biffi. The location is perfect, short walk to the train station, around the corner from the Duomo and only one block from a wine window! The breakfast had a good amount of options and you were able to customize what you wanted each day. Both the room and bathroom were very spacious, perfect for my father and I to spread out with our luggage and the two beds. Also, having the elevator to access the unit was critical as we were on the 2nd floor and my father has knee issues. All the staff was so friendly and provided great recommendations for our short time in Florence. They also held our luggage on the last day while we explored more before our train departure which really allowed us to maximize our time.

The location was amazing! Steps from shopping and the Duomo, and less than 15 minutes to the train station and Ponte Vecchio. It made it easy to stop back in to rest or drop off packages, change clothes etc. Service was casual and friendly, they let me check in early and leave my bags late, even use their amenities after I checked out. Both hosts spoke enthusiastic and fluent English. Free breakfast in your room was easy and delicious. Beds were comfortable and the AC was cold, my room had like 17 foot ceilings and modern new furnishings in great shape.
This isn't a negative, but the hotel is kind of a half way point between a hotel and a hostel with all private rooms. It's clearly in converted old apartments, and is a unique warren of rooms. You shouldn't expect marble floors and a doorman in a suit. The hotel has a small elevator but I would not say it's disabled accessible. Halls are small and contain steps. I found it very charming, but it's not formal at all. The rooms are dressier than the public spaces.

It was like the picture shows with updated bathroom. Very safe and conveniently located to many attractions, restaurants, shopping and the Arno. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Andre was very helpful with knowledge about the area, scheduling taxis, and making sure we were comfortable. The breakfasts were very good and lots of variety. When you were leaving before breakfast they would make arrangements for you for breakfast before you left. Very good about communicating and keeping you informed. Highly recommend this B and B😊
We liked it all.

The location is as perfect as you can get. One block from the Duomo, and three blocks from the San Lorenzo. As Florence isn't a large city, you are within 15 minutes of all the sights and restaurants. The reception was very friendly, and the owner took the time to inform us (and mark on a map) where the museums, palazzos, and places to eat were (and we have enough recommendations now to fill another trip to Florence) Breakfast is very simple: you order what you want from the breakfast lady (I recommend the stuffed croissants and the torta della nonna), and it is served in your room not long after. If you need breakfast outside of normal hours, the owner can direct you to a bar that is open early. The room was spacious and quiet, and the rooms had shutters to keep the light out. Combined with the good mattresses, we slept like roses. There is air conditioning, though we did not use it, as it was only April. There was also a fridge, which comes in handy if you want to keep your drinks cool or if (like us), you find the perfect cheese or meat to take home with you. Bathroom is tiny and only had a shower, but the water was very warm and never ran out, so you can be assured you'll end and/or start your day clean and refreshed. Last but very much not least, I asked to arrange a taxi to the airport, and this was done efficiently and without fuss.
While I do not have any major things I did not like about the accomodation itself, it is worth noting that Florence is an old city with very tight sidewalks. So be careful when arriving or leaving at busy times.

The owner, Andre, is very friendly and welcoming. He gave us a detailed walk through of the facilities and provided us with many recommendations on where to visit and the best way to get to places. The property is in the center of the tourist area, with only 2 minutes walk to the Piazza del Duomo. I have very much enjoyed having everything (tourist attractions, restaurants, markets) all within 10 minutes walk. You can travel anywhere by foot. Attached photos are places a short walk away from the accommodation. The air conditioner worked effectively to cool the room even on consecutive 39 degrees days. The shower is spacious enough for me to bend over to wash my feet. It also has plenty of storage areas for face wash etc. The breakfast service is top of its class. You just need to let the lady in the kitchen know what you want, and it will be delivered to your room. The selection is surprisingly great and of excellent quality too. During my stay I have been served fruit juice, coffee, muffins, fresh fruits, yoghurt, scrambled eggs with bacon, and sandwiches. It definitely sets you off to a great start of the day. We do especially appreciated Andre for letting us store our luggage for 5 days while we went on day trips to Cinque Terre and Siena. In addition, we left the international power adapter in the room when we headed for our short trip. Gladly, it was easy to contact the accommodation to confirm that they found it and will left with our luggage for us to collect when we are back. it's one of the best stays in my 2 months of travel so far. We will definitely stay here again.
You can't flaw this place. Nothing to complain with.

Location was very good, big room for family of 4, nice and clean service. Desk person was really helpful and gave us with brief instructions where to get food, shopping, sunset and other items. My only complaint is breakfast, since our itinerary started early in the morning like 7-7:30am we had to miss breakfast. Breakfast serves after 8:15am and there will be a line to order stuff and person will deliver it to the room after 20 mins. So again not a big deal if you are planning to leave the room after 9. David, duomo, leather market and mostly all the attractions were walking distance so this apartment is centrally located. That saved us walking time and taxi.

Very close to all attractions. Elif, the receptionist was very accommodating and arranged for our breakfast every morning if we need to leave early than 8 am. The room was very clean and recently updated. It’s so close to the San Lorenzo market where ready cooked food is found in the whole second floor. We ate at Trattoria Zsa Zsa near the market, and the Truffle sauce pasta was excellent. I highly recommend B&B de Biffi.
It’s next on the street, therefore we can hear the noise of street cars at night. Just bring earplugs.
