Great location . Just walk from train station. Clean , safe and quiet . Near halal shops . Love the design and the hospitality. Everything function well. WiFi strong. Booking 2 rooms for two night. Highly recommended. Will come again.

Easy check in and comfortable room. It was a bit strange that room 1 was on the second level by room 14, but we were given directions at the front desk. Staff were nice and we were able to leave our bags when we arrived early.

We had the sign on the door asking not to disturb because we did not need anything, but they still came in and cleaned, which I found odd. Typically, that sign means you do not want staff in your room.

The hotel is close to the train station and the old city center. The room was very clean, the breakfast was good. We didn’t have an issue with the stairs (we knew about them from the booking time) - for us, taking the stairs helped to burn a few calories from the great food we had in Florence :)

Perfect location, friendly staff, good breakfast. We were able to leave our luggage there before check-in and also after check-out, which was really great!The staff is kind and helpful.

The location is perfect for all major attractions, easy to reach by foot everywhere but of course this means it can get a bit noisy. It is a splendid old building that again comes with some downsides like having to walk some stairs to the reception or a bit of a smell in the rooms. For us, it was a perfect stay since we were targeting the best location for sightseeing.

- great location right in the city center; 5 minutes walk from the cathedral and 5 minutes from the main train station - very nice host, helpful and personable; All the other employees were also very nice and helpful - room a bit dark but overall comfortable and attractive; well air conditioned - we were able to leave our luggage at the reception upon arrival before the check-in time as well as after the regular check-out time and enjoy our time in Florence - we didn't use breakfast and can therefore say nothing about the quality and selection

- Tourist tax very high (4 euros per person per day) - otherwise everything was good

Overall, it was a nice place to stay. Within walking distance of most of the attractions, the staff was friendly and we were happy.

We were two very senior women and the stairs up to the lobby were a bit much. The elevator was hilarious. It really only held one person, maybe two and a suitcase. We joked, saying there was a gnome far in the basement with a crank that he slowly turned to life the elevator to lofty heights. It was interesting adjusting to the slow ride in this day and age of hurry hurry hurry.

The location was excellent for Florence walks, very close to the Dome. The quadruple room size was ok, the bathroom was ok and clean. Breakfast selection could be improved. It's excellent that you can leave the suitcases with them after the check-out time. The parking is a small garrage that does not belong to the hotel, a 2-min walk down the street, that you pay separately. It is quite small and full. However, an employee took the car somewhere else and returned it the next day at the agreed time, so it was OK. Especially for Florence center!

The location is great close to the train station and centrally located to walking distance to most things. The staff goes over and above to help with questions or needs of any kind. The breakfast in the morning is wonderful and a great start for the day. The room is small but we didn't come to Florence to sit in the room. It was very comfortable and relaxing when we were in it.

The room we had did hear a lot of noise from the street outside but it wasn't bad. Shower is slippery also.

The hotel is very close to both the town centre and the rail station, so it never took us more than 10 minutes by foot to get to both. To get to reception there is a set of stairs without lift, but this was mentioned by previous reviews so it didn’t come as a surprise to us. To get to the rooms however, there is a small lift. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Staff at the front desk was helpful.

Nothing - we thought everything was good, especially the location.

We travelled as a family of 4 and picked this hotel because they offered 4 individual beds in a room option. The place is exactly as pictured on its website and based on some previous customers' reviews in term of size and description (ie. walk-up one level in order to access the elevator, European size elevator, European size bathroom, room size). The location is excellent for an active Florence tourist (near tourist attractions and a tourist center, walking distance to the main train station, restaurants (if you like pizzas, check out Giotto Pizzeria Firenze), in a lively neighborhood where you can do laundry, get little supplies from local convenient stores, fast-food/snacks, and has seasonal night/music activities at night in the church square behind the hotel). The hotel staff, everyone we encountered during our 4 days stay, were friendly and helpful. I should mention that the hotel is exceptional clean (especially the floor) and not luxurious, but every well maintained. The hotel breakfast is quite convenient, adequate, and is a good value for the cost.

Can't think of any of anything we didn't like. We were in the summer (late June/early July) and the air condition worked well to cool the room.
