The owner was very friendly and accommodating. She gave us a map and explained what route to take. The room was very clean and quiet. The villa was very nice and pretty well located. Breakfast was also really good! We would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was delightful. They have a great espresso machine, so the lattes were fantastic. The breakfast area is delightful, both inside and outside. The garden is a lovely setting to have breakfast. The library and sitting room was also delightful to gather in. The elevator was large and worked well, and the steps were elegant and not steep and easy to go up and down if you prefer. The location was great, it is on Villa Row across from the park, near a look out point above the city center. It is just outside the edge of the city walls. This is a perfect location, especially if you have a car. The walk to city center was 15 minutes but you are passing both a lovely view and shops along the way. It is right next to a very nice outdoor cafe. I highly recommend if you are taking a car to stay here instead of city center. My taxi cab driver said "oh, this is a nice area to stay in" when he got to street of the hotel. He is a local, and he was impressed, that sums up the safe, and lovely neighborhood.

I had booked a room with a desk, per my confirmation I paid for a room with a des. However, my room did not have a desk so I had to work in the library.

Very close to the center of Siena! Very comfortable room, with all the amenities we needed! Many choices at breakfast! We enjoyed our breakfast in the small garden! Excellent location for parking your car! Many spots very close and free! It was a last minute reservation and the staff were exceptional! Very friendly, took their time to talk to us and recommend a walking tour in the city and where to eat! Recommend it to anyone staying a couple of nights to enjoy the beautiful city of Siena!

The location was perfect, 15 minute walk from the center of the old city, and just along the walk you get the most amazing panoramic view of the old city , beautiful at all hours of the day The hotel is a villa restored beautifully... the room is spacious and very clean.. the bed was dreamy to sleep in.. The staff were very nice and friendly Although it is close to the center, there was no noise. There is a lovely garden around the hotel where they serve breakfast , surrounded by nature and greenery. Breakfast was versatile and delicious Also free parking along the street

Parking limitations.... Street and public parking-- was very difficult to find open spaces at the time we arrived in the evening. Daytime was somewhat easier. Be sure to read all parking signs for date/time restrictions! We ended up getting a parking ticket....

Excellent location for central Siena, although parking locally was a challenge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, if a little tired. A good breakfast!

The soundproofing in the hotel was not perfect. In particular, our room was immediately next to the lift, which was very noisy (the hotel discourage its use late at night).

This was lovely clean hotel with very helpful staff. We were in Siena to see the Palio and it was an easy 10 minute walk into the city. The breakfast was the usual buffet style and was perfectly adequate for our needs. There is an outside area to eat in the sunshine. We arrived by train and made the mistake of walking to the hotel in very warm weather. It was a bit of a 'challenge' with large bags ;-). We later realised that there is a bus from the station to the terminus 5 minutes from the hotel. There appears to be plenty of on-street parking around the hotel. The room we had was on the first floor and had a small balcony with a table and chairs over looking a park opposite.I would recommend the hotel and would return when I am next in Siena

Lovely spacious room on top floor. Breakfast had the full range of cold options - sweet and savoury. The hotel is walking distance (10-15 minutes) from tourist hotspots but away from the bustle.

Not much, once you realise there is no evening service of food or drink - it is just a bed and breakfast

Outside seating area where I could use my laptop and have a drink. Staff helped with an urgent medical. problem. Decent breakfast. Custom made coffee for breakfast. Ice creme place two blocks away with same quality but much lower prices. Great Aperol Spritz at the hotel. Informal and quiet.

A little too far to restaurants which were about a kilometer away although we did find a Chinese restaurant two blocks away that had good duck.
