The location could not be bettered for a tourist visiting London. Quick walk to Charing Cross Station and Embankment tube. Trafalgar Square is a hop, skip and a jump away, too easy! Quick walk to get to on off tour buses, two small supermarkets nearby for all your cooking needs (Coop and Tesco Express). Directly opposite a very well known restaurant for British food, Kerridges. Cafes on street plus Waterstones book store. Three or even more good English pubs in area, Sherlock Holmes, The Chandos and The Admiralty. Check out newly reopened The Portrait Gallery nearby. Easy access by bus from TS to Oxford Street and many other areas. Loved the laundry facility run by Wewash (get app). Room size was good for a studio for twin room. Nothing missing in room, even has a retractable washing line. Free coffee in lobby. Studio has a bathtub with shower above. Nice for soaking aching bones after lots of pavement pounding around London. Comfy beds and rooms are delightfully air conditioned. Medium sized fridge (no icebox), microwave, cooktop and small dishwasher. Table set for meals.

There are a few steps up to the lobby without a handrail. Have to carry up your suitcase. You can access from the the back of the property if you arrange it.

We liked that there was a little kitchenette so you could cook a basic meal if not going out and make lunch. We thought the complimentary tea/coffee was a nice touch while you was staying. Was also handy that i could get documents printed for free. Room was clean and good space, little sofa and a table and chairs to eat/work at. Lots of power sockets. Close to The Mall, Leicester square and covent garden. Great location for sightseeing.

There was only 1 male and female toilet in reception. We didnt like the fact that the outer door could be locked from the inside meaning that as you go into the toilets someone could lock you and them in the toilet together.

The location was fabulous for a first time traveller to London. Most attractions and sites were within walking distance . Local Bus stops and Big Bus tour stops very close . Many cafes and restaurants were in the same street or very nearby. Apartment style rooms were great and serviced every couple of days. Bed very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good value.

Our fourth stay at Citadines Trafalgar Square and we will continue to stay here. The rooms appeared to have been redecorated since our last stay too. The hotel is the perfect location for sightseeing with the main attractions within walking distance and there are two tube stations and an Uber boat pier within a few minutes walk. The studio apartments have a useful kitchen area which we find useful for breakfast. We always ask for rooms facing out to Northumberland Avenue due to great views of the beautiful surrounding buildings which the staff always do their best to accommodate.

Location Location Location!!! A min walk from Embarkment tube station and 2 min walk from Embarkment river bus pier. 5 min walk to Charing Cross tube and train station. 5 min walk to national gallery and 10 min walk to leister Square or southbank (Christmas market). Room: The room was large (which was useful for a week-long stay with suitcases) and the bed was very comfortable. We got room 302 (twin beds) which is facing the back and was very quiet. It also had a window that can be opened. The kitchen is fully equipped (including dishwasher tablets and hand towel). Note that room cleaning happens only if you stay more than 7 nights (but you can ask to schedule it after 4 nights in the lobby). Reception: The coffee/tea/hot chocolate in the lobby was a great feature in both mornings and evenings (in the last couple of days one of the machines was broken which created a queue for the working one). We reported three more issues to the reception team: 1 An issue with the safe (low battery) - we reported about it on our way in, and someone got immediately to the room to replace the butteries. 2 We had an issue with the dishwasher, reported it on our way out and someone fixed it while we were out (we approved). 3 When we asked to get another set of towels – it took 2 hours and on 1am someone knocked on the door and waked us up… ☹

The hotel (in general) and specifically the corridors, the room, the cabinets and the shower were somewhat outdated and not like the photos. But we did not mind that. It was a bit dark and heavy (the dim light in the room did not help either) There is no control on the air condition fan level. Therefore, we heated the room and turned off the air conditioner for the night (which was fine for us). The shampoo and soap bottles were very basic (and looked the same). No conditioner. Water flow in the shower was somewhat on the weak side. But the water were hot whenever we showered. Price is high but these are prices in this area.

Great apart-hotel in a great location in Central London. The famous Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery are in 3 minutes walk. The Big Ben, the Westminster Abbey, the theaters of Covent Garden, the Piccadilly Circus and Oxford street are in 10-15 minutes walk. Charing Cross and Embankment underground stations are in 2 minutes walk. The room was spacious and clean. The bed is really comfortable. The kitchenette was really good: hob, microwave, pots, plates, bowls, cutlery, dishwasher. The staff was very polite, friendly and helpful.

It would be nice if the bathtub was bigger ((. In the evening there was a little insufficient lightning in the room. Also in the evenings it was a little noisy because of the nearby bars, but it’s a British tradition ))

There is no way to overestimate the location of Citadines : it is excellent. Close (walking distance) to SOHO, Trafalgar square, the London eye, Big Ben, Picadilly Circus and Regent street, Buckingham Palace. Close to two Underground stations. I booked a two bedroom appt, with a fifth person sleeping on the coutch-bed. All accommodation was quite big and very comfortable. The appt was very spacey, on two levels with internal staircase and had windows (partially opening) which could let air and light in. There were enough cupboards for clothes. The kitchen was rather well equipped for a good breakfast, not for real cooking though (no pans, no sizeable pot). There was a microwave and good quality kettle and toaster. Nice and quiet fridge, a dishwasher. There was a big table and chairs to sit around and have breakfast. Clean and modern bathroom and lots of hot water There was coffee, hot chocolate and water free at the lounge, to also take upstairs

There was only one WC. Separetely, there was only one bathroom with one washbasin and a medium size bathtab/shower. This is not a lot for a 4/5 persons accommodation. We had to carefully plan who takes showers when, to avoid queing. As I said above, the kitchen was mostly for breakfast and even not necessarily the for eggs and bacon as there were no pans. Maybe heavy cooking would have too many smells. The windows were mostly higher up and not very big, but they did let fresh air and natural light in. Although the daily rate was already handsome, the housekeeping was extra and on-demand

It is a bit on the expensive side but the standard room is perfect for 2 people. Well equipped with the essentials (a safe is a bonus) and the staff is kind to provide a quiet room for my son who is sensitive to noises. The heater is a bit loud but it beats the noises from the streets and my son could sleep without any issues. The hotel provides free water, tea and coffee, and we can keep our luggage with them even when we have checked out, which is thoughtful of them. The apartment room does not have daily cleaning services but we didn't mind it. Some staff members are friendly and helpful, some may need improvements in making the guests feel more welcomed starting with a more cheerful greeting. Location wise is great - Attractions within walking distance or very quick tube ride away. Restaurants and supermarkets around as well. Definitely coming back when we visit London again.

A small suggestion - would be great if the room is equipped with a mini dustpan and brush so we can sweep the areas around the kitchen and dining table to maintain cleanliness.

Location was execellent for the purpose of this visit

The room /apartment was not ready when we arrived after a long journey . We arrived at 5pm and our reservation stated entry at 4pm. We asked for a room with easy access as one of our party was disabled. The fact that there was not an easy access shower was very disappointing. The decor requires freshened up.

The location is excellent and we were able to drop the bags off before starting our day (early). If these rooms were available we would have been allowed to access them even before the formal booking time. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

At times the lifts were very busy. Lack of daily top-up of tea bags, coffee, milk, and water. i.e. if clients book for one night they get charged the same and have a full coffee/ tea supply including bottled water. We booked for several days and only received one-day 'allowance'. We had to ask for top-ups (and were limited to two tea bags) and were told we had to pay extra for the water (when we believed it should be included in what we had paid).
