The location and beach front are just amazing ! The service and onsite restaurant was so convenient to lounge on the beach all day

The ONLY complaint is the beachfront bungalows are not insulated at all -holes in between the wood (just the nature of what it is) therefore the air conditioner never really gets it cold. We got used to it, but for people from Texas used to ac it was a little uncomfortable at night

That this was one of the only hotels that picked up seaweed making the beach great!!!

The bungalow facing the sea are beautiful and the room is big and comfortable The bar of the hotel is one the side so it's not in front of the rooms, which is nice. The rooms without sea view seemed a bit old. The hotel is overpriced but aligned with the prices on the island. If the sea view is important for you, I think this hotel is a good solution. If you don't want sea view, probably there are better options. Anyway, location was good, 15 min walk from the town.

The first room they gave us was the one furthest to the right (coming from the street) and there is a bar near that plays high music volume early in the morning, very annoying. Plus, the sea view is partial. I don't think it's fair to pay the same price for the rooms in the middle, which are quieter and have a full sea view, and the two room on the sides that have only partial sea view. We asked to change room and from the second night we had one of the central rooms, much quieter.

The beach is probably the best on the island - a massive plus for cleaning the algae - it looks like the only hotel in the area that does this properly and regularly. The garden is beautiful and quiet.

We noticed a significant decrease in food & beverage quality compared to 2-3 years ago. The restaurant is mostly empty. The bathrooms need renovation. That's a big minus.

Perfect vacation on the beach. The new beach huts are a dream! We enjoyed the fresh fruit, juice and smiles at breakfast on the beach! Thank you for having us, we are looking forward to returning soon!

Front desk's coordination of activities and airport transfers was a huge help and relief. They were very responsive to WhatsApp chats for any type of assistance from calling taxis to take us to town, organizing excursions, providing replacement towels etc. Their service was great. The room had lots of polarized plugs, the internet was great (never had an issue and we streamed a movie each night), They even had a blow dryer which came in handy when I had to dry out my phone which got some water in it. The beach front location of the bungalows was awesome - the view was amazing! The cleaning staff did a good job as well. The pool was very cute. We really enjoyed our stay.

The food and drinks at the restaurant were just ok. Breakfast buffet was actually decent though. Staff was friendly and accomodating.

Beach and room was great. We really loved the view. I like the pool in the middle of trees. Cleaning service was good. Also beach cleaning is a plus, they take care of the seaweed. Breakfast was average.

The breakfast could be better. But the main issue I would like to mention is the activity rates and bike rental rates. The rates you get from the hotel is different than you get directly from activity providers. We realized that the 2nd day so we had better deals outside. Also bike rental fees are exaggeratedly overpriced. Even though they're very old bikes, they charged $20 per day which is probably more expensive than the sales value of one bike. And it is way cheaper if you rent directly from rental places.

The location is at a chill and calm place, perfect for family and if you want to get inside the village its in a wonderful walk distance with restaurants along the way. And at the other way you are at the start of the beautiful beachwalk out in the water going all the way to the nature reserve were we saw Stingrays and might even have the chance of seeing Flamingos. Inside the bungalow area there is a nice pool djungle area with Leguans poping up all around and we did even see a Racoon one day. Breakfast is not like a big hotel luxury breakfast but its got all the important stuff you need.

What we didnt like was the seaweed on the beach and that was on the whole island but it was less where we stayed at Blue tho. The beds could have been more comfy.

The stay at one of the beach front bungalows of Blue Holbox was a dream. The room itself was quite big and had a view which dreams a made of. The staff at the reception was really helpful in the booking process for finding the right room and even offered e.g. a shower after checkout time (we had to leave early for a whale shark tour). The room itself came with some nice features such as a huge bed, lighted up wardrobe or an overall modern appearance. Take off your shows, take a sit on the balcony or go directly to the beach, were beach chairs await you. Exactly what we had hoped for. Included breakfast was better that in all other places we stayed in Mexico. the restaurant was also ok. The beach nearby is, in contrast to all other beaches we've seen, really cleaned up. Well done!

I'd rate this a rather expensive place, be it the room prices or the prices in the bar/restaurant. What I frankly do not understand, is why you do not offer a free water refill. After every room cleaning, guests get new tiny bottels. But that's not enough hydration for 33°C. At the price point, I would've expected this 100%.

I loved the location, as I explored Holbox a lot, the location is the best. You can easily walk to the buzz of the city, but the beach is ugly there. The beach in front of this hotel is the most beautiful and they clean daily the seagrass. We stayed at the beachfront houses and they were very spacious, wonderful view and very calm and just beautiful. The restaurant has a very good food, we apreciate the ceviche the most. Breakfast very very good. We bought a boat trip trhough the hotel and it was also very nice, it was just us and a guide. Lifetime memories.

The staff were a little cold, but we didnt mind. Also the AC was weak, but we also managed))
