The all staff were really nice. The hotel looks even better in person than in pictures. The hotel is a 20 minute walk to the center but we actually loved that as it was more quiet there and less flooded than other parts of the island. One day we couldn’t get breakfast as we had a tour and they made us really good sandwiches for lunch. There is also outdoor yoga classes that you can attend which was great.

Breakfast was really nice and very filling, it would have been nice to have more variety each day after a week of eating the same thing in the morning but other than that it was really good.

Everything. The owners have created a magical and relaxing place. Our room was big and comfortable. The staff were amazing. The breakfast was plentiful and healthy. Because it’s about a 15/20 walk from the centre it’s really quiet. We’ve been to Holbox before and this place was much better. There are plenty of places you can walk to and hire beach beds - we liked Nana’s - closer to the centre. And best place for shrimp tacos is Viva Zappata

Not what I didn’t like but a tiny suggestion - I would have liked better quality bread for toast and a selection of things you could put on it. But as I said overall the breakfast was great

The sweetest hotel we stayed at in Mexico. Actually, we extended our stay to 7 nights! short distance from the beach, surrounded by nature. The owners are a wonderful Argentinian couple, Lali gave us a yoga and meditation class every morning in the stunning space on the roof, and also on a sap in the water, and Gustavo's paintings decorate the place. The breakfast is very simple but satisfying. We rented bikes and toured the island (or by foot). The reception and cleaning staff are very nice and we felt at home! Perfect for those looking for quite, seclusion, rest, and relaxation.

Are you looking for tranquility, a friendly staff, delicious breakfast and only 100 meters to the Mexican Gulf - this is the spot. We enjoyed the small pool after a hot day on the beach, but mostly we appreciated the calm atmosphere at this little gem. Since Hridaya is a little away from the town you can take some fantastic morning walks at the sandbanks and see the sunrise almost on your own.

Sometimes during our stay we missed bar facilities. You also have to find sunbeds on your own, we chose Punta Caliza about 500 meters away. Here the sunbeds are for free if you buy for only 300 pesos per person. And the beds are really soft, all too soft for me, however that is a personal preference

Casa Hridaya was exactly what we needed at the end of our 3 week holiday in Mexico, a peaceful place to relax! The location is on a quiet part of the island where you can see and hear the wildlife (birds). For us, it was close enough to the center which was a 30 minute walk along the beach. The hotel offers free yoga in the morning and they can organise a private massage for you. I did both and felt amazing afterwards. The beaches closest to the hotel have no seaweed and you have immediate access to the sea and walk on the sandbank to mosquito point. Beautiful! Breakfast in the morning was freshly prepared. Not many options but it was sufficient and delicious. The rooms had gorgeous decoration, good smelling soaps and a very large comfortable bed. All the staff was helpful and smiley as well!

We liked everything! If they would have their own beach club in front that could have made it even better but enough other seats and places to choose from in only 2 minute walk.

The hosts were very attentive and proactive. All staff was very polite. The place is very beautiful and romantic. I would highly recommend this hotel for families, couples, or friends travelling together. The location is excellent. I attended two free Yoga classes that were relaxing and interesting. We loved the fresh breakfast.

This is not particularly about this hotel but all. There should be a bigger effort from hotel owners to clean plastics in the area.

I spent a week at Casa Hridaya, extending my stay by a few days, and it was one of my best holiday experiences. It is a small family run business and the staff and owners made me feel like part of the family. Julio and Natalia were brilliant hosts and full of ideas and information for me, using what’s app to stay in touch. The best thing for me was the owner Laly’s morning yoga classes. I took them every day either in the sea on a paddle board or in her wonderful open air studio. My Spanish is limited as is her English but we made the classes work perfectly. I really liked the location out of the town centre, it was extremely quiet and I’d wake early to only the sounds of the birds and the wind. The beach is a few meters away and not being beach front is preferable as it keeps it quiet and secure. If you want a beach bed the two hotels next door rent them and I spent few lovely days at Las Nubas beach club. I preferred though to leave my things on the beach front by the hotel and swim there. 5 mins walk to some nice places to eat, 15 to town and east taxi back if you don’t feel like walking. I felt safe enough to walk back on the beach on my own at night. I felt relaxed and happy and whilst there and afterwards and couldn’t rate my time there highly enough. This is a quiet, magical place.

Such a beautiful, small hotel. At the very (East) end of the town, in a quiet area. The staff is great, nice, small pool area and each room has a balcony/terrace. Free water and chocolate upon arrival. The hotel also has bikes for rent (which is a great way to get to other parts of the town).

Nothing the hotel can't help but the seaweed on the beach in this part of the island at times causes a not so pleasant smell. Luckily not all the time though. The breakfast is freshly prepared, but the same every day (fresh fruit, joghurt and eggs/toast).

It's a great little hotel, with a bit of a meditation/yoga vibe. The staff was wonderful and helped us book taxis, tours and gave us restaurant recommendations. The location is a bit outside of the center but in my opinion, that's better. It's close by Punta Mosquito which is a beautiful part of the island. Taxis to the center are 150MXN. The rooms are big and clean, with all necessary amenities. Also very much appreciated the swimming pool and the breakfast, which was simple but very tasty. You can also rent bikes from the hotel.

The bathroom was a bit small and with no storage. In general, rooms lack a bit of storage.

We loved everything about Casa Hridaya! It’s really well looked after by the owners, who cleaned the room, the pool and the entire facility every day. Breakfast consists of fruit salad, joghurt/granola and different variants of eggs.

We loved everything. As we already knew, it’s not a beachfront hotel, but therefore it’s really calm and lovely. The beach is 100m away, but there’s nothing to lay down really. So you either have to pay for a private beach club (~600 MXN/d) or you walk up the cost to a public beach (10mins).
