This is such a cute boutique hotel. The pictures already looked great but in reality it's so much prettier. Our balcony overlooked the pool / green. Pool lights up in all colours of the rainbow at night. Bed was huge and comfy. Very stylish interior design, completely boho themed. A super Instagram-mable place! They let us keep our rental bikes in the garden which was very convenient.

We ended up laughing about it but: the studio only separates the shower and rest of the room by a curtain - this curtain is transparent. In the pictures it was in colour (not see-through). As friends travelling together this was too intimate for us and we took turns waiting out on the balcony. Also, there's a primary school right next to the hotel and they have rather loud early morning rituals with a megaphone. I am not an early bird but became one during this trip.

We had a floor in the first floor and the room a nicer then we thought from the photos. We had a room for 3 ppl. There was a big bed that fit two of us and another on the sofa bed which was also a big couch to fit yourself plus anyone else you might have over. The room also had its own little kitchen with stove sink dishes coffee water and a little bar type ledge where you can sit along with a dining table. Tv was a Roku so you can stream any app to watch videos or shows. Also the location was very very close to the tulum bars (Santino bar would be my recommendation) and was near lots of taco trucks and good restaurants.

The power went out a couple of times for a few minutes each time. I think this is more an issue with mexicos power rather then the hotel itself but it did come back on really quick. Also the pressure of the shower head was not that strong. Also the toilet took a while to refill every once in a while.

I really loved to stay at Live Tulum. The room was very nice comfortable with balcony. There was also a fridge to use. Only think was the noise from the main road, which you could hear from the early morning till later evening. But I was aware of that, so it didn't bothered me that much. Close to the hotel is a big supermarket, many restaurants and you can rent a bicycle nearby. You can get to the playa and ruins in about 20min by bicycle. Easy going, because Tulum has no hills.

Very cute hotel in a great location. The suite looked exactly like in the pictures. Lots of nice details. The style is shabby chice, maybe others mistake that as “not well maintained” as we read in other reviews. But in fact everything was spotless apart from 2 tiny stains on the linen (fair enough though). Overall the best accommodation we’ve had in Mexico with great value for money for central Tulum.

The mattress was a little too soft for my liking. The pool doesn’t get much sun, but we didn’t mind that since there are plenty of beaches around Tulum. There is some noise from the street but hey, it’s central Tulum. Bring earplugs or stay further out the center if you are very noise sensitive.

It is a lovely place. Friendly and helpful staff. Large room with living space and dining area. Confortable bed. No charge for using safe. Access to pool from the room. Very close to activities/bars/restaurants in town.

Kitchen could be better equipped and cleaner. It was lacking a good knife. Microwave had mould (did not use it). Otherwise it was a good choice. Far from beach but on beach bikes it was a reasonable distance.

Nice private spot in downtown. Rooms are quaintly designed. Pool is great for cooling off.

The shower bath didn’t exactly work how photographed and designed. There was loud construction work and road noise next door. The design of the doors doesn’t help sound moving into rooms and between other rooms you can hear people chatting…and everything else! Our room also had a services cabinet in it so everytime someone showered or used the toilet in the building sounded like a bucket was pouring in our room!

Staff was friendly and the room was pretty spacious. Parking was included as well and it has a nice pool.

The AC made so much noise it would keep you up at night. It would keep the room nice and cool but sounded like it was broken. Turning it off wasn’t an option since it was very hot when we were there. Another thing that would’ve been nice to know in advance is that a new building is being built next door. Meaning that early in the morning you’re woken up by drilling and hammering noises from next door. Also, a lot of debris from the construction site could be found in the pool.

The rooms are large and have a good sized kitchen. The kitchen table was comfortable for working at. The hotel is quiet, well located, and with a lovely pool and garden. The price was right too. I would stay here again.

I had a problem with my credit card on check in, and I wasn’t permitted to deal with after settling in. I had to resolve the issue in the lobby, tired after my trip. They also screwed up the paperwork and asked us to pay again later, but did realize their mistake. Those things didn’t spoil my stay though.

Really clean, very comfortable. The pool is at the entrance of our bedroom door! Hard to believe but true and the water was nice and refreshing yet not cold at all. Kitchen was awesome with so much room and all the workspace and appliances we needed with espresso machine and coffee. Living room had a nice sofa and plenty of room to relax. Bedroom had a king bed; very comfortable and sheets were perfect. If you love a pool outside you bedroom to walk into…Go Here! You probably will not leave. I loved it and my tenth year in Tulum.

Nothing.

This is a lovely hotel with spacious, well designed and nicely decorated little apartments. The cleaning is immaculate and the shared pool is huge and wonderful to swim in. The kitchen could be a little bit better stocked. We had to buy a knife to be able cut some fruit and bread. (Btw, although the reviews on this website mention their good breakfast the hotel does not serve breakfast.)

Unfortunately there is a big building site right next to the hotel which creates a lot of noise (sometimes with hammering deep into the night) (But constant noise seems to be a big problem in Tulum anyway.) We were also surprised that the hotel charged our credit card with an unrealistic exchange rate which meant we had to pay 5% more than agreed on booking.com. They also charged us an extra tax on top of the tax we had already paid through booking.com. We tried to argue the case but they wouldn’t budge (though they did refund us the extra tax). This made for a bit of an unpleasant start to our (otherwise lovely) stay.
