The location was excellent, taxi took us straight to the door. Straight out in the morning and into the old city, whether left, right, or straight ahead, but the front entrance area was always quiet outside. A very quiet hotel; no rowdiness, no noise (bar some from the rear, I'll explain later) and very polite helpful staff. We very rarely met other guests apart from breakfast, which itself was of an excellent variety. The room was nice, very well equipped and decorated, aircon a must, and the bed very comfortable, and our taxi home arrived right to the minute. I would stay there again.

Only two very slight problems - and they were very slight - firstly due to the layout of the room there was nowhere to put suitcases, so they had to stay on the floor and were easy to trip on at night. We just felt that having them lying on the floor ruined the tidiness of the room! The other problem was the business to the rear of the hotel; they woke us up repeatedly throwing empty bottles into their bins or skips during the early hours, and the staff seemed to shout a lot. However, small points, and in no way spoiled our excellent stay.

Location- perfect. Czartoryski museum right next door and so many lovely places close by. And even c walkabke to train station to the airport. Large high ceilinged rooms. Clean. Comfortable bed. Clean spacious bathroom (shower curtain odd for a 5* hotel) Breakfast room welcoming.

Carpet in rooms. I understand having carpet in the hall to dampen sounds but old Polish buildings like this normally have beautiful parket flooring, which is modern now, and would probably attract new younger guests too. Windows and location of my room kept sound out but the air conditioning was loud ( like continously wind in a storm) and made getting to sleep difficult. Even when I switched it off, the sound continued. Breakfast OK and eggs great but for a country with wonderful bread, and supposedly 5* hotel it was below expectations.

We always use this hotel due to staff, comfort, cleanliness and location. Its a few minutes stroll to the main square. Very close to Maccys for a cheeky snack. The huge shopping centre...well worth a visit with its designer shops and great food hall located on the first floor are a 5 minute walk from this hotel. So its close enough to all the action, yet away from late night revellers. The breakfast is great, buffet style with hot options. The small bar is open in the evening. Drinks a reasonable price....but dont order a Hennessy XO double!! It came in at £60. My own fault for not checking prices and my lack of expertise in the Cognac section is limited! I took it to my room and enjoyed every sip with my Big Mac! If you are looking for modern, cutting edge design then not the place for you. If you want comfortable beds, big squishy pillows and dont mind the odd chap in armour gazing from you on the wall, then you will enjoy your stay.

Very central location while not noisy even on Saturday night. Walking distance to the main touristic attractions and to the train station. The breakfast is very good, fresh fruit, juice and smoothies every day, delicious variety of vegetables, eggs, cheese and pastries, great coffee, I only missed more choice of bread. The room was small but we came there only at night, it was nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly. We arrived earlier than the check it time and the reception staff arranged an available room for us so we didn't need to wait. The room was properly cleaned every day.

From the moment I arrived at hotel polski , I knew I was in for an extraordinary experience. Every detail, from the seamless check-in process to the personalized welcome amenities, was thoughtfully curated to ensure a world-class stay. The Rooms: My suite was the epitome of luxury—spacious, immaculately clean, and elegantly designed with modern touches. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the panoramic views from the window were breathtaking. Thoughtful details, like high-quality toiletries, a fully stocked minibar, and a pillow menu, elevated the experience. Dining: The dining options were phenomenal. Whether I was enjoying a gourmet meal at the fine-dining restaurant or savoring a casual breakfast, the quality and presentation of the food were impeccable. The variety catered to all tastes, and the staff’s knowledge of the menu and wine pairings added a sophisticated touch. Amenities: The hotel’s amenities exceeded my expectations. The spa was a serene oasis with skilled therapists and luxurious treatments. The infinity pool and fitness center were top-notch, offering stunning views and state-of-the-art equipment. I was particularly impressed by the concierge service, which went above and beyond to arrange transportation and provide personalized recommendations for local attractions. Service: The staff were the highlight of my stay. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail were unparalleled. They anticipated my needs before I even voiced them, making me feel genuinely valued as a guest. Conclusion: hotel polski is more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience that redefines luxury. I cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone seeking unparalleled comfort, exceptional service, and unforgettable memories. It’s worth every penny and more. I’ll certainly be returning on my next visit. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This lovely, characterful hotel is in the perfect location for exploring Krakow on foot. So easy to wander to the main square, to the castle, across the river to the Schindler Factory etc etc. Could not have been better! Our room and bathroom were comfortable and cosy, the communal areas of the hotel were clean and welcoming, every member of staff was lovely, and we thought the breakfast was one of the best we've had in hotels this year (and we seem to have stayed in loads!) Also, communication with the hotel was exceptional from the outset. They responded to messages almost instantly and arranged airport pick-up and two out-of-city tours efficiently and at a good price. Thank you Polski Pod. We will recommend you to everyone and will definitely stay again if we come back to Krakow.

Hotel Polski Pod Bialłm Orłem is a delightful hotel, situated in a wonderfully atmospheric part of the old town. Even though the amenities are fresh and modern, the interior decor showed its history and gave that feeling of tradition . The staff were also young and friendly, always a smile and willingness to help. Food in the restaurant was delicious and had a contemporary style. The breakfasts were WONDERFUL with a huge variety to choose from, or if you were REALLY hungry, why not try a sweet breakfast as well as a hot buffet, or even start with sparkling wine and have a three or four course breakfast. As the hotel is reasonably priced, even for its location and facilities, for me it is a "must return" - and soon!

The location and the staff. The staff are really friendly and the building is impressive. Location makes it a great place to explore. It's near all the main sites and the train station.

The quality and smell of the room. The room smelt dreadful. Opening the window fixed it, but something wasn't right and really should've been noticed before letting guests stay. It was odd, as the room was incredibly clean. In fairness, we didn't complain and given how nice the staff were I have no doubt they'd have changed the room if we had flagged it. While the hotel is beautifully old and historic, the facilities are basic.

The location was fantastic! Right in Kracow Old Town opposite St. Florian's Gate. When in the room, the only noise was the sound of horses that were pulling the carriages on the cobbles outside, which was very nice. The room was very large, bed very comfy with a choice of pillows, plenty of lights in the room, safe to lock away your passports etc. A mini-bar if you wanted to use it, kettle with teas, coffees etc, large bathroom with excellent shower along with shower gel, hand soap, hand lotion and other toiletries. Hairdryer, slippers and plenty of towels and flannels. Beautiful wall hangings on the wall. Exceptionally clean and cleaned every day. There was so much choice at breakfast as they catered for every nation. Staff were friendly, spoke good English and were very helpful. They can arrange trips, taxi's etc. Large umbrella's to use but luckily for us, we didn't need to use them. Restaurant next door which we didn't use but did have coffee which we could have sitting outide, opposite the hotel under the sun brollies whilst watching the beautiful horse & carriages going by.

We just loved everything.

Every room is slightly different which is unique in its own right as the building is old but exceptionally modernised. The beds are large and extremely comfortable and the facilities within the room were all that we could want. Given its very central location within the inner city walls the views were had out of our window were very memorable. It is not a large hotel and all the staff were very courteous and very helpful, dealing with all requests with a smile, politely and efficiently. Breakfasts were buffet style and offered a large variety to choose from with certain items changing daily which made a pleasant variation from offer places we have stayed in. The coffee was extremely good and you could have as much as you required. One very minor criticism was that at times certain dishes were not topped off until they had almost run out but when this was pointed out the staff quickly replaced the deficient items. One other exceptional item was the marmalade which is the hotel’s own brand as we found that it can be purchased at the bar.
