I had the pleasure of staying at this enchanting guesthouse in Porto, and it exceeded all my expectations. The blend of modern comfort with the charm of a renewed old building creates an atmosphere that is both warm and inviting. The attention to detail is evident everywhere, from the beautifully crafted wooden elements to the tasteful decor that radiates coziness. The wooden styles throughout the guesthouse give it a rustic yet elegant feel, making each room a haven of relaxation. The furnishings are thoughtfully chosen, enhancing the natural beauty of the wood and creating a cohesive and welcoming environment. The ambiance is further enhanced by soft lighting and carefully curated decor pieces, making every corner of the guesthouse a delight to the senses. The location is perfect, nestled in a quiet area yet close enough to explore the vibrant city of Porto. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to offer recommendations and ensure a comfortable stay. Special mention goes to the wonderful hosts, Andrea and Jaqueline, who made our stay truly memorable. Their warmth and hospitality added a personal touch that made us feel right at home. In summary, this guesthouse is a must in Porto. Its warm wooden styles, attention to detail, cozy atmosphere, and exceptional hosts make it a perfect retreat for anyone looking to experience the best of Portuguese hospitality. Highly recommended!

We chose the suite on the top floor and it was really beautiful. The room with double window door allowed access to the terrace with breathtaking views of Porto. The cleanliness was perfect, the bed comfortable and there was enough silence to rest. Only remark, the bathroom is outside the room, although anyway the top floor was all for us. Breakfast was very good. The b&b also has a garden.

I would suggest to put a mirror in the room, since having the bathroom outside and a little distant, a mirror to prepare yourself would be welcome. The room is not equipped with tv

My friends and I had the top panoramic suite. We really enjoyed the views and the large bathroom/tub by the window.

The only issue we had was that because our suite was so open to the other suites, it was difficult not to make noise that was audible for other guests. A very angry French man let us know of that in the morning. We did try very hard to keep the sound to a minimum but understand that because this is such an old building, there not much that can be done for that. The breakfast was beautiful but one person in our group was gluten intolerant so it would have been nice to have an option for them. Other than that, everything was wonderful. Thank you!

The room was spotless and the bed was so comfy and the shutters made it dark. Really was to check in and great location, 10/5 minute walk to the river and 5 mins away from nice bars and restaurants. The breakfast was a little buffet but had great options for sweet and savoury. Staff were really friendly and helpful but not overbearing. The only thing for our room was the bathroom was in the room with no door, fine for us as we were good friends but might not suit all. Honestly can't praise the place enough, we really enjoyed our stay

The room was very comfortable. The food was fresh, there was a variety, a terrace to eat on, coffee was one of the better coffees we’ve had in Portugal. The staff was amazing and very helpful Especially Jacqueline

We arrived on a Friday and the noise from the street was fine. But on Saturday and Sunday, I guess they’re weekend, it was to loud to sleep due to the bar across the street. Air conditioning would have been good, then we could have kept the windows closed.

Room was very big and had nice views. Bathroom also spacious and had 2 sinks! Bed was comfy and there were options for covers so we could adjust when it was hot. Breakfast was provided and easy to access. Location was good for us as we could walk into town or to bus stops. Also fairly quiet around this part. Staff were available in the day if we needed them. The building is lovely and entry is very easy without the need to check in at a certain time. The terrace is nice.

There are lots of stairs - just something to be aware of if you struggle, because breakfast is downstairs. Breakfast was fairly basic and mostly the same each day, fine for a couple of days but not that inspiring. I would have liked the option of not having house keeping every day. Sometimes we left the shutters closed to keep the sun out in the day because there is no air con and it was the middle of summer, housekeeping would often open them which was a bit frustrating because then it got hot.

Wonderful stay here. We loved the breakfast! They had an espresso machine and milk frother so you could make your own coffee (which was delicious). The breads and fresh melon and selection of cheese was great and it was so nice to be able to sit outside on the patio to eat; it was lovely and quiet. There wasn’t much interaction with the hosts but they were always easy to find in the office and very kind and helpful. They gave detailed instructions for how to get into the hotel so it was a very easy check in. The rooms were cozy and clean!

Not a problem and actually found it unique but the bathroom in our room was on the bottom level with a spiral staircase. The hotel itself is in a traditional walk up building so expect that there are stairs and the doors are not sound proof but that isn’t an issue at all and it’s just accepting that most places in portugal are like this due to the aged (but extremely charming!) buildings.

We stayed in the top two rooms and essentially had the entire floor to ourselves. The view from the terrace was breathtaking! The bathroom was spacious and the host was incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, especially the coffee. When we return, we’ll definitely stay in the same accommodation. The location is perfect, with most of the main attractions just a 15-minute walk away or less.

Great location - close to many of main attractions, including Clerigos Tower square which has plenty of transport options if you get tired - Porto has a lot of steps! Good food choices at breakfast. Fantastic view from the balcony on our room. Really happy with our stay.

There were a lot of steps to climb in the property We knew that before we travelled so it did not bother us but could be an issue if you are not fit.

Good location, nice hotel, hassle free check-in, great value for money.

Avoid breakfast. I don't expect much from the little hotels and I don't really need much, but most of the ingredients including bread were too cheap, and, in turn, it means that they are made of bad ingredients or at least not healthy. Sorry guys I know you are trying to make a living, but canned mango and these strange underbaked croissants were not good. The "cake" was so sweet that I felt sick till the mid of the day. The tea water also came from the electric pot which means the water is being reboiled all the time to make it hot. So it's just the breakfast, the rest is good.
