I loved the old Hollywood vibe, loved How comfortable and incredibly clean the beds are. Rooms are not big but have everything you need! Loved the historic details of the property and how well mantained this building is!! loved the staff too!!

Good location for getting to Hollywood Boulevard. The hotel was clean and felt safe, despite the neighbourhood (the immediate surrounding streets weren't too bad, but Hollywood Bvd feels a little dodgy before you hit the very touristy part). The bed was very comfortable and it was great to have a fridge.

It felt like a lot of money for what you get, but I suppose that's LA. I also smelt pot a couple of times, and seeing as the windows were shut, I only assume this was coming from the corridor / another room. I understand this was not the staff's fault, but it might be good to remind guests of the non-smoking rule, and that it means smoking anything.

Great location. Very nice room with a comfortable bed. Table, chairs, fridge and safe are part of the room. There's sufficient space to store your belongings. Staff is very helpful. I have stayed there a couple of times and it has always been a pleasant experience.

No parking for hotel guests. You can use a public parking round the corner but it's quite expensive.

Great location, couple of blocks from main tourist areas. Clean. Comfortable mattress. Shower -nice hot water and good water pressure. Available ice water near the office for filling up drink bottle. Price was reasonable but we needed to make allowances for the dated decor and small room. Small, flat screen TV. Small, flat screen TV. It was like going to visit nan and grandpa. But that was ok with us. Felt cosy.

No lift! That was a negative! Very challenging walking up and down the stairs with luggage and shopping and with no support. No pool!! That was a negative as well. In 40 degree daily heat (that's in the shade) we would have loved a pool. No phone in the room so couldn't contact office without the use of your own mobile phone.. which we couldn't do as I had not international roaming for USA. One chair in the room although there were two people in the room. Would have liked an information pack when we arrived.

Very nice staff and comfortable bed. Convenient for what we needed: a short stay close to some attractions from which we can explore LA

Aircon was really old and loud, but it was fine with earplugs. The area is quite sketchy and we didn’t always feel safe when walking from or to the metro station. It’s not the fault of the hotel ofc but something to be aware of. Trying to fetch an early morning coffee felt quite sketchy for example and when we would return later in the evenings (never past 7-8 pm) it also felt a bit dangerous.

The location worked well for me for my stay as I wanted to do activities nearby, e.g. Studio tours, Hollywood Walk of Fame. The bed was super comfortable and there were a lot of little extras that were appreciated, such as boxes of tissues, make up remover wipes. There is a grocer store nearby, different food options within close walking distance and options to order food to be delivered to your room. Overall I thought that this was a well priced hotel.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. However, there is no lift in the event that you have heavy luggage and need to walk up the stairs.

The location was amazing - literally a block from Hollywood Boulevard, and no more than 10 mins from the Ovation Mall/El Capitan Theatre etc. Also 5 mins walk from Hollywood & Vine Metro. No food facilities at the hotel, but Cheebo across the road does amazing food, and theres a CVS and strip mall with a Subway and a food mart in it almost next door.

There are a few homeless occasionally in the area, but no more than anywhere else in Hollywood, and they're only ever a botrher to themselves. Not once did i feel unsafe in the area, and i was coming in quite late at night.

Size of the Room was good.

Didnt have any parking, we parked in a nearby park at 30$ a day.

Location - About a 10 - 15 minute walk from the start of the main drag of Hollywood Boulevard, easy to get to the walk up to Griffith’s Observatory, 8 minutes from Hollywood/Vine metro. Felt safe enough. Cleanliness - Very clean, simply but neatly decorated throughout. Comfort - Bed was comfy and room kept dark enough at night. Friendly staff - Elizabeth checked us in. Price - Good value all things considered.

Only a couple of minor issues: Bathroom - Not much room for our toiletries: there is a shelf unit above the toilet but the shelves are wire so not practical for putting things on. Air con - It’s a bit noisy. Facilities - There’s a water machine in the lobby, which is great, but it would be good to have mugs or something for making tea and coffee in (only plastic cups provided).

We stayed here twice within the space of 2 weeks in July, 2024. For the first stay.. We had attended a concert the night before while still at the other hotel and my partner had hurt her foot at the concert and was in great discomfort. We arrived at reception that next morning quite a bit frazzled and I was in a bit of a Huff and a Puff as reception at the previous hotel on Sunset near Western had been Dreadful.. So much so that upon arriving at The Hotel Hollywood I went on foot to seek out another hotel which had been recommended by the Lyft driver. When I returned to Hotel Hollywood about 20 minutes later the conversation was a bit awkward but.. I think her name was Elizabeth.. She turned the conversation good.. It became positive and light hearted. Actually when I returned my partner was relaxed and already in conversation with Elizabeth. Elizabeth went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and even got us into our room earlier so my partner could rest. Our second stay was about 2 weeks later and we arrived without a booking but were warmly welcomed/greeted by reception.. They remembered us. Just about the friendliest staff/reception in Hollywood. We were a bit stressed yet mostly relieved when we arrived. My Goodness what a morning it had been.. Escaping a Poorly hotel in Beverly Hills on N Crescent and Brighton. The shower and bathroom was very good. My only nit pik is no bath.. But hey. The bed was very comfortable. Good fridge.. Good aircon and Good wifi. A very comfortable room. A short walk to Hollywood blvd. I would have to emphasize the way we were treated here by reception.. Was Wonderful/Superb. We had had a rough morning.. But reception were Really good and understanding to us. There was a couple of things.. But reception helped us with that. They actually went above and beyond for us. Reception was very accommodating to us. I had left my card at the other hotel.. So I went back for it while my partner relaxed at the hotel.

My only nit pik was no bath.. Not a big deal.
